A mix of meditations and chakra information, could do a chapter or two that isn't chakra related to make to more complete. It is a good book if making that chakra and meditation connection. a number of things put into the book.

* Arc review netgalley

This book was such a well written and clearly mapped out from the beginning that path it aligned with. Using the chakras for meditation and a set by set road map. This definitely help any beginners or anyone who also heals using the chakras etc. highly recommend.
I would really like to see the final print version for sure and work through it again.

Full of dozens of various meditation practices, organized by how they best relate to our chakras. Very heavy on info about and relating to the development of different meditation practices and how they benefit us. There is a lot of emphasis behind the many reasons for meditation and how it can positively impact our lives.

The importance of Meditating

I found this book very informative in regards to why we need to practice the art of meditating. The author provides fifteen reasons that are not only beneficial to our personal growth, but also a great way to aid in healing our body. Just to name a few of the benefits, the author states that meditation can reduce stress and anxiety; it can help control pain, lengthen attention span, and reduce age-related memory loss; it can improve sleep and decrease blood pressure.

She discusses several meditation techniques and practices, while providing some background information on each, their history, practice, and instructions.

This is a very good book for anyone, especially beginners seeking information on which technique or method is best suited for them.

No matter where you are in your meditation journey, there will be helpful information in this book. Very detailed and allows for so many different goals and lifestyles. It is a lot of information to take in, but is arranged so that you can just glean what is useful for your specific situation and go back to learn more later.

I’ll start by saying that I love meditation and find that it’s been very helpful for my PTSD and general well-being. With that, this excellent guide is amazingly comprehensive. And very, very informative. It’s impressive; just how much the author has put into this. I was really impressed with how in depth this is.

* I did remove one star for the consistent mention of chakras. Others may find this to be just the thing for their meditative practice, but it’s not for me.

This book isn’t one I’d have preferred to read on the Kindle - there’s something about a how - to, I want it in physical book form. This is one I’ll gladly put on my bookshelf.

The complete book of meditation was an interesting book, a little dense at times. I liked the exploration of chakras and different types of meditation.

Absolutely love it, this book is very easy to understand and to come around the concept of meditation what it is and what it's not.

If you're a beginner or advance or just need a little reminder this book will help with all parts you will need, it does have a lot of techniques you can use too.

What I liked more was that the wording is so nice you get to sit and really understand so much of meditation and what we are actually going to be doing in that space, what we should be looking forward to and that we are already part of it.

Totally recommended no matter the time you have been doing it.

Thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for this ARC! This was an incredibly detailed and comprehensive book on meditation and I learned a lot from reading this. I think this book would be beneficial for anyone who wants to dive deep into meditation and/or know more about the why and how of different techniques. I do wish there was a little more emphasis for anyone who may be relatively new to meditation, but it wasn't a particular barrier to reading this book in any way.

Really detailed extensive read, goes through a lot of areas in a simple way, looks very wordy but it's actually quite concise. Really recommend if you want a deeper understanding of meditation and chakras, what the goal is, how to achieve it, what to do when you achieve it, and what it all does! Brilliant read!

Though I am not exactly a believer in chakras, I found this book to be a wonderful addition to my kindle library. Author Shair Tubali starts the book detailing fifteen purposes of meditation. Some of the purposes are rooted in science while others are rooted in emotional well-being. I found several of the “purposes” quite thought-provoking and motivational. The four major goals of meditation outlined by the author was the reason I picked up the book. Specifically, I’d love to make meditation a transformative experience by learning new techniques to turn feelings of disappointment or confusion into moments of equilibrium. I loved the reminder that it is important to declare your intention before meditative practice AND when leaving the meditative state.
This is a comprehensive and fluid book. A deducted one star because it is so heavily-focused on chakras. This could be a major plus for many readers, it just isn’t for me in particular.

As a psychologist who applies Jon Kabat-Zinn's Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction to interventions for my clients, I was very interested to read this text. I really enjoy finding texts and resources to share with my clients to expand their own understanding of the benefits of Mindfulness on mental, physical, and emotional health outside of sessions.

I found this book to be very comprehensive and a great resource. It has a great flow and does a wonderful job of explaining the point behind the different meditations and skills being utilized. The only flaw I could see was that it was a little jargony at times. For a book stated as accessible to beginners, I think there were opportunities to simplify the information sooner. In my experience, clients will find resistance to the material if it isn't provided in a manner that connects with them.

Overall, a great resource for applying mindfulness skills to the readers.

I received an advance review copy for free through NetGalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
