I will leave a review on Amazon and B&N on April 25th

I found Strawberry Lane to be a hearwarming read, one that contains several characters whom have always felt unwanted and unloved. What follows is a enlightening journey for several different characters, whom find that they are loveable they just have to meet the right people. I would recommend this book to others,

I received an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher, I am leaving my review voluntarily and the opinion expressed here are my own.

We are headed back to Honey Creek and I promise you will not be disappointed in this book. Jackson Landry has taken over his father’s lawyer business. He had always wanted to be in a big city but ended back where he was raised. Dr. Ryan was a close friend of his and they grew up in the outdoors and on horses. Which came in useful when rescuing Rusty.
Jackson had represented Jamie Ray Murrell and he had left his four kids an inheritance. Jamie only told Jackson their names and approximate ages and where he thought they were residing. In other words in wasn’t ever involved with these four siblings all from different mothers.
Starrie is a young adult and her parents were killed in a car accidents and her Aunt Ona May had raised her. Starrie believed in fate and she was such a gentle soul. She came upon a wreck and helped save the man named Rusty who was one of Jamie Ray’s offspring. Rusty had grew up on his own basically since he was 15 years old and he kept to himself. He had a construction crew and he worked very hard. Dr. Amber was the one who helped Rusty the most she was also a workaholic but did find solace in laying beside Rusty to fall a sleep. Can she bring Rusty around to love?
Then we have Rusty’s little brother Zach that was treated horrible by his quote Uncle Vern. Rusty will go to great links to protect Zach.
Emma was a nurse who had fell in love with Heath a rancher that had been in a coma. Emma would go into his room and talk to him constantly about what they would do someday. Keep in mind they had never dated but she always admired him.

You will fall in love with the main characters and want to know more about the other siblings. Jodi Thomas writes the story where you absolutely want more.

I received this ARC from Netgalley for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

He is trying to track down the children of a deceased man. In that search he finds two of the sons. Because of this Jackson meats Starri, she has been raised on a Strawberry farm by an adopted Aunt. His client Rusty meets Amber the intern who helps heal him. Rusty is now charged with keeping his brother safe. Along with the puppy named Duck. The lives of Honey Creek residents are brought to life. This was an enjoyable small town romance book. I am looking forward to the next installment.

I always love returning to Honey Creek and this was no exception. Strawberry Lane introduces the reader to new characters to instantly fall in love with as well as getting glimpses of characters they may already be familiar with if they read the previous books about Honey Creek (Pecos, I'm looking at you).

Jodi Thomas is the queen of weaving together stories of characters who stay with you, long after the book is closed. Honestly, I couldn't pick which storyline I liked better between the ones happening in this book. Starri and Jackson, Amber and Rusty, Emma and the cowboy she patiently waited for while he was in a coma, Zach - the litte brother Rusty didn't realize he had. They were all such fantastic storylines and by the end they felt like family.

I know that as long as there are books connected to Honey Creek, I'll be a faithful reader of them all.

A big thank you to Jodi Thomas, Kensington Books, and NetGalley for an eARC in exchange for my honest review. Strawberry Lane comes out April 25, 2023.

Strawberry Lane is a heartwarming tale of love, forgiveness and found family. On his way to talk to the lawyer handling the estate of the deceased father he never knew he had, Rusty O'Sullivan gets into an unfortunate accident. While recovering in the hospital Rusty finds out that not only did his father leave him part of his estate, but he also finds out after living 32 years alone he actually has three brothers. While Rusty is one of the main characters you follow there are also multiple other characters and storylines you get to read about in Strawberry Lane. Each character and storyline add to the novel a feeling of the characters starting to find their people and the paths to their futures.

I absolutely adored this book, I read it in one sitting and did not want to put it down. The story line is fun and heartwarming while also having some excitement in the form of a shady uncle. I really loved all of the characters that have their own POV, they all had their own struggles and quirks. Honestly the way it was written really made you feel immersed in this budding found family and in the small town itself. The book ends with the feeling that not everything is tied up in the relationships that the characters were starting, so I hope the next book will be able to dive deeper into them. I also hope that we will be meeting the other siblings that we did not meet in this book. I also think that the description of the book made it seem like Starri would be a bigger part in the book, and she is in it just not as much as I was expecting. But overall if you are looking for a fun book full of warmth and love Strawberry Lane is the book for you.

Strawberry Lane is one of those books a reader really doesn’t want to put down until it is finished.. The characters are varied and interesting, and the relationships complex and span several generations. Not everything is resolved, so, hopefully, the next book by this author will provide further insight into some of the relationships. Jackson has come home to take over his dead father’s law practice— not exactly what he had in mind for his career, but can he find peace and fulfillment In a small town practice.. Rusty is a loner, as is Zach—wary of people and relationships—for good reasons.. Can they overcome their distrust? Vern—ugh! Had to hate him! Loved the high school students stand against evil! I am an animal lover so enjoyed Duck and his role in the story, also the role a number of nurses play in the overall story. I received an ARC copy of this book and highly recommend it to others.

Strawberry Lane by Jodi Thomas is the start of a new series. I have read and enjoyed everything Ms. Thomas has written.
The Town of Someday Valley is the setting for the story which is near Honey Creek. We get to see some of the characters from that series.
Jackson Landry is a lawyer who is tasked with finding the long lost children of an absentee father.
Russ is the first of the siblings. I loved his story. He had a very hard childhood but rose above it. He finds his half brother who really needs help.
There was another story woven in about a nurse and a coma patient which was good and sweet but really did not connect.
The writing was very good, and I am looking forward to the next in the series. Which of the siblings will be found next?

I enjoyed Strawberry Lane very much. You will root for Rusty and his brother Zach. The quirky characters from the town add to the story. Jodi Thomas does a wonderful job of the backstory of all the characters in the book. There are several storylines but they do tie in together. I can’t wait to read the next one in the series. This story has hope, redemption and love. Thank you to NetGalley and Ken’s Books/Zebra for the E-ARC. This is my own opinion.

Jodi Thomas is a new author to me and I am so glad that I found her. Strawberry Lane is the exact type of book that I enjoy so much to read. It has a great plot, well developed characters that I cared about almost immediately, is a clean heart-warming romance and expertly written by a pro.

I was so consumed by the story that I wanted to read this book all the time. Fortunately, I could not read it continuously, and that is a great thing, since when I finished I missed these characters so much! I am thrilled to see that this is the beginning of a new series. I also am so happy to see that Ms. Thomas wrote many other books that I can read also!

This book’s message is that you are worthy no matter how your life began. Disregarding a person by their appearance is sometimes a mistake. What lays beyond a surface can be treasure. Families can develop at any time. If you have love in your heart, it can grow into a beautiful blossom, which may just produce sweet strawberries.

I laughed, I cried and I rejoiced while reading this gem! I definitely recommend very highly!

I am so thankful to Kensington Books, Zebra and NetGalley for giving me the immense pleasure of reading this book and introducing me to a new-to-me author. I definitely will be reading her previous books! This review is not obligatory and is my honestly opinion, not influenced by receiving the complementary advanced reading copy.

I found this book to be very long and difficult to get into at first. Once it got started, it was good and well written.

For me, it was completely unnecessary for there to be 4 children. The book only focuses on 2 and that would have been good enough. It seems that the other 2 were thrown in as an afterthought.

I actually liked all of the characters in the book, however it feels like Emma and Heath's story was also a bit thrown in. I don't know if it necessarily added much to the story itself.

Also, the Jackson and Starri storyline was a bit frustrating because they were written to love eachother but then she's too young for him? And he fixates on it - fair enough. I feel like she just needed to be a couple of years older.

Overall, the book was good had an interesting storyline and the characters were well written.

This was the first book I read by Jodi and I loved it. This was a quick read for me. It was sweet, clean and heartwarming. I didn't want to put this book down when it ended. If you love small town romance then you will love this book. I highly recommend it. I can't wait to read more books by Jodi Thomas.

Thanks NetGalley and Kensington Books, Zebra for allowing me to read this ARC in advance.

The first in a new series, Someday Valley, by Jodi Thomas promises to be every bit as lovely as the Honey Creek series. Someday Valley is almost co-located with Honey Creek so many of the same characters we came to know and love in Honey Creek, make an appearance here and are essential to the story.

A story of love, regret, happiness, sadness, hopelessness, and ultimately triumph, Strawberry Lane ticks all my boxes for a romantic and sweet romance that is easy to follow and very relatable. An easy read that gave me all the feels.

This story is a standalone and the previous series, Honey Creek, can be read before or after or never. I'm looking forward to the other siblings being found and woven into this tale. I can't wait for the next book!

This is kind of a quirky story by a great storyteller -- Jodi Thomas. I've read lots of Jodi's books and this one is a different type of story but fascinating.

Starri Knight is an orphan who was taken in by Auntie Ona-May when she was small. They live in the country and take care of each other. When she finds Rusty O'Sullivan in his wrecked car, she takes him in to nurse him. Rusty is a strange character too and he has built an amazing house --rooms tacked on to rooms. The new lawyer in town, Jackson Landry has a surprise for Rusty. Rusty's father is deceased. Rusty didn't know anything about the man. He had been raised by his mother. Apparently the father had more than one child that he never claimed, just like Rusty. The will left money to all of them. Rusty is fascinated with the idea of having half siblings (a real family) and he wants to track them all down. He finds a younger brother and takes him under his wing. I'm guessing there will be more books and he will find the others.

I was fascinated by this book and couldn't put it down. It's like following an artist that does feel good sunshine paintings who suddently changes techniques and does an abstract. I like it!

I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All views expressed are only my own honest opinion.

I’m not sure where to start with this one. I liked it. It had the same but yet very different feel for me than the normal Jodi Thomas book.

I just can’t put my finger on it. It was a quirky book. But yet I really could not wait to get back to it. It was like putting on an old cozy sweater. It was sweet, a bit odd and I really loved the quirky characters. I’m looking forward to returning to Someday Valley. I want to see Rusty, Zach, Jackson and the rest of the gang. Jodi Thomas has such a lovely way of telling a story. She sucks you in with the beauty and ordinary of life. And weaves a tale that feels slightly magical and entirely wonderful.

Action-packed entertainment in every chapter. Inspirational throughout. A story of opposites attract - very opposite but when you learn their stories you realize they fit together. I have fallen in love with the characters that live in Honey Creek. I want to know more about each one and am looking forward to the next book in this series. Jodi Thomas is one of my all-time favorite authors. Any book she writes is guaranteed to be fabulous and this one did not disappoint.
Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books for this advanced review copy. In return, I am submitting my unbiased and voluntary review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Strawberry lane book
Fiction book

The book starts off with one story by telling us of a man named Jackson Landry. He was a lawyer but felt like he was wearing someone else’s clothes when he was called a lawyer. His dad gave him every crazy person in the valley to deal with. This is how it was stated in the book. Jackson had taken over his father’s practice two months ago. unfortunately, Jackson’s first client passed away. Unfortunately, he never got a chance to pay Jackson for his services.

The second story is about a nurse who helped all kinds of people, good ones and the not so good ones, as she called them sinners. The nurses name was called Ona-May. She overlooked peoples shortcomings because she had quite a few her self.
She would sometimes steal and curse when she was frustrated.

Another story is about a man named Rusty who had parents that didn’t take care of him when he was a child at all. They both were never sober, and left him all alone to fend for himself. He became a drunk as well when he was older.
