I have enjoyed other books in this series but struggled with this one. Thank you netgalley for the early copy!

Absolutely love this series. Love it so much I can't bring myself to watch the TV series. I don't want anything to ruin the books. Just amazing.

Oh Joe Goldberg you are the most handsome of fictional serial killers. It was so nice jumping back into crazy Joes head. This time instead of selling books he’s writing them. Another fantastic installment in the You series. Well done!

I don't know why it took me so long to get to this one. I absolutely loved being back in the world and mind of Joe! I ended up listing to this on audio and the narrator really brought this to life and did an amazing job. Kepnes' writing style and way she puts the story together from Joe's mind, perspective and inner dialog is just perfection and I can't get enough!

Have previously enjoyed this series, but this one feels a little stale and repetitive. Though Joe is As ruthless as ever.

Joe Goldberg is back in his fourth book! It's always interesting to be inside Joe's head, and for once, has he finally learned his lesson? Although parts of this book were interesting, I feel like a lot of it was just Joe doing the same exact things he did in previous books.

I've picked up and put down this book several times. I absolutely loved the series but this one I just wasn't grabbing my attention. There narration on the audiobook is good and the book overall isn't bad it's me. I'm the problem.

I have been ride or die with Joe Goldberg since I received You as an ARC. I have defended his crazy, defended the readers who love him, defended Kepnes for writing such a despicable character we can’t get enough of. But sadly this one was simply turrrrrrible. I’m going to give it a pass, though, because nearly everything written during the time of the dilemma was pretty horrible and I’ll simply await the next one.

Oh Joe, how I love your royally messed up mind! And yes, he continues to be an egotistical narcissist with a victim mentality who always has to take matters into his own hands in the name of love. Wonder is Joe's new love interest, but unfortunately she just didn't have that it factor that both Beck and Love had. As much as I enjoy living in Joe's F*ed up mind for a while, I found this book to be pretty slow and repetitive.

Joe.. Joe. Joe
You keep getting unhinged anytime I read a book about but I’m not complaining at all, I’m not. I’m here for it, like every step.

3 Stars
I love Joe, I really do, but it took me forever to finish this cause I was bored. Too long, too repetitive, and I just never did love Wonder or get why she became the object of Joe's affection. She was seriously stuck, stunted, and very one dimensional and she made Joe her mirror.
For me the series has started to get stale and that's sad. I would rather an author wrap it up and end it rather than it slowly die as she continues to write and write. Is there an ending planned? I was hoping for continued growth for Joe but instead felt like he stumbled. This is probably it for me unless the next book is the last book.

Loving this highly anticipated book! I love Joe and I’m happy to see he’s really been trying to better himself. The character development really shines in this book and Kepnes continues to deliver a compelling story. Highly recommend for any thriller lovers

In Kepnes’ latest installment in the You series, Joe lands a free ride for a writing class at Harvard and connects with another “scholarship” recipient. It is nice to see Joe find someone less pretentious than his past girlfriends. He encourages her in unorthodox ways to continue writing her book while engaging in strange yet interesting side stories with other characters in the book. Although I love the You series as a whole, this one fell a little flat. I found myself bored while trying to push through to the end. It is hard to compete with the first book in the series!

Another great adventure with Joe Goldberg. Caroline Kepnes never disappoints. Her wit and world building has been so much fun,

What can I say it’s another “You “book. This book follows Joe as he goes to Harvard on a fellowship where he meets HER, Wonder. He becomes obsessed and same story different hiccups. I love these books but they are basically repeating themselves at this point. That being said I’ll still pick them up every time they come out because I love the writing in these books! I love hearing Joes inner monologue and sarcastic thoughts. I enjoyed this one I loved the academic setting and I really liked Wonder. The story was ok but pretty similar to previous books and thought the story was more entertaining in previous ones. I would like to thank NetGalley and the publishers for a chance to read this book for an honest review.

For You and Only You is the fourth book in the You series, and you absolutely need to read all of the other books that come before it before you can read this one.
I found myself laughing so hard throughout the whole story at Joe’s antics and internal monologue, no matter how inappropriate laughing may be. I listened to this one on audio and thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend the entire series on audio if you can as the narrator does such a wonderful Joe characterization. Sometimes series that go on for more than three books can seem a bit repetitive and don’t grab my attention as much, but this is definitely not one of those series. Kudos to Kepnes for keeping me entertained throughout the entire series!
Thank you to Random House and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this in exchange for my honest opinion.

I just love this series. Getting into the mind of a sociopath is always a wild ride! Caroline Kepnes remains a master!
Joe is complex and you just try to hate him but he is so intuitive and fascinating. Each time I finish the newest book I start anticipating the next one..

This book was really good! Caroline knows how to keep reeling you in! Despite the million, blazing red flags, Joe Goldberg is one of my book boyfriends. This series never disappoints and I'm constantly thinking back to it.

I love the TV show You and enjoyed the first book in this series but all the other books have just been not up to par and this one was no exception. While I thought the plot sounded interesting and parts of the story were interesting to me, I felt like there was too much fluff or trying to hard to sound cool and interesting with some of Joe's innerthoughts that it was just overkill and made me not enjoy the book. It also made the book way too long and drawn out.

I am a huge fan of Caroline Kepnes and I wish she'd stopped with Joe at #3 and moved on to something else.
She can write with the best of them--she's absolutely amazing.
But with this one, she seemed to be reaching--as if her agent or her editoror somebody was telling her to stick with a proven winner.
Except for Joe, who I feel I know intimately from the previous three books, I didn't care whether any of the other characters lived or died. They were that uninteresting to me. And I wish a lot more of them HAD died, but Joe wasn't up to speed in his usual manner.
I don't know--maybe it was because it was set in the world of the literati: writing, publishing, agents, lit crit, etc. That might be fascinating to some people but I've been fucking with it for 50+ years and I despise it. Maybe it'd be like a lobster fisherman reading a book about lobster fishermen.
Anyway, I love Caroline.
Just didn't love this book. It was good, but not great.
