Lies and secrets fuel a madman's game to punish those lying and keeping secrets.

Detective Josie Quinn along with her husband and the rest of their team try and figure out the clues that are left after each murder but when they cant get the truth from anyone they are left trying to figure out what the killer wants everyone to know so badly. Its keeps the reader on the edge of their seats and racing to end.

There is also a surprise return of a previous character I wasn't expecting. Another great addition to the series.

The Innocent Wife is non stop action as Josie, Noah and the team try to solve who murdered Claudia a well known tv/podcaster.

They are racing against the clock as the bodies begin to pile up.

Each body has a wooden puzzle in their hand.

Josie takes risks that go beyond the call of duty .

Lisa Regan never disappoints, always tells a good story and has you reading well into the night.

Each book gets better and better. I can't wait to see what is up next for Josie and Noah.

Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for a nail biting read.

The Innocent Wife is another incredible installment to the Josie Quinn series and it does not disappoint. It is packed with suspense, murder, lies, conspiracy and that's just the first chapter.
Josie and her team of detectives are called to the home of a local tv relationship doctor who has been murder, the scene staged and now the game has begun.
This killer has an agenda and is just beginning. Clues are left along the way that point to the next victim but will Josie figure them out in time?
This case is exhausting for all of them and Josie may not be at the top of her game when she comes face to face with a madman.
DO. NOT. MISS. THIS.

Thank you #NetGalley #Bookouture for this ARC.

Let’s start off by saying I’m going to sound like a broken record. Once again this author who is a master of crimethrillerbooks has left me bereft having to leave Denton, PA. And let’s be frank, Denton is a wee bit dicey. But with Detective Josie Quinn I have no fears.

This is another whirlwind of a fast paced, high octane, mind blowingly twisted ride. I love how this author sets up the story. A seemingly innocuous meeting winds up giving us some insight and then it’s off. And as usual I rush breathless to the end and I get knocked out by that 2 by 4 I never saw coming. This author never disappoints. She keeps me glued until the end. And the continuing character growth is brilliant. This mega fan is already looking forward for more!

His Innocent Wife is super fast-paced and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire book. Before I knew it I was flipping the last page, hours had gone by, and I really had to pee lol. This case kept me guessing, I had no idea who the killer was until it was revealed, and getting there took us on a twisty turny ride where we know all the suspects are lying, but not exactly about what or why, and were playing a game where only the killer knows the rules.

Josie and Noah are investigating the death of Claudia Collins one part of a famous marriage counseling couple found murdered in her home on her fifteenth wedding anniversary. Right away Josie knows something is off with the people who were at the home when the police arrived. As Josie and her team start digging they end up with more questions than answers, and secret after secret is being slowly revealed. Just enough to push the police in a different direction.

Each new book adds more and more to the world and our favorite characters and I absolutely can't wait to see what Josie, Noah, Mettner, and Gretchen will be solving next!

Murder, secrets , lies, what more can you want from a story, amazing characters , and the storyline pulls you in from start to finish , and the plus side is you get to read a point of view from an unknown character, is it the killer , the victim herself , who ever it is they come off a bit mad , as well as twist and turns that will have you setting on the edge of your set , just wanting to see what is going to happen next .

The Innocent Wife (Detective Josie Quinn Book 16)
(Thriller review) - 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Oh my word, I love this book so much. In my opinion, this is one of the most memorable Josie Quinn novels to date. This novel by Lisa Regan is a banger, and I enjoyed every page! In all, Lisa has written 16 installments in this series, and they are all fantastic! You can read them as stand-alones, but once you begin one, you will want to read them all.

Synopsis:
There are lit candles on the table which is set for a romantic dinner. The scene includes fresh rose petals on a white linen tablecloth. It's like a beautiful fairytale. However, there is one thing about the woman seated at the table: she is cold to the touch, and her neck has a trail of blood running through it...

A cliquey community is devastated when Denton's most loved TV host finds his wife dead on their anniversary. Claudia and Beau Collins were often regarded as the picture-perfect couple. In the wake of the devastating murder scene, Detective Josie Quinn wonders what hidden clues lie beneath this seemingly blissful marriage?

The Innocent Wife is available on December 12th, just in time for Christmas.

Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for sharing this book with me. Lisa Regan is one of my favorite writers! I'm hooked and am looking forward to book 17!

Thank you Bookouture and NetGalley for the copy of The Innocent Wife. This is book sixteen in the Josie Quinn series and it’s okay if you haven’t read the previous books.(But you should because the ones I read were great!) Sometimes a series will peter out after a while and the characters and stories get stale, but not this one! Josie’s relationships keep evolving and sometimes characters from the past turn up!
Of course the writing just draws you into the story from the beginning, and once the story gets going you won’t want to stop reading until you know the ending. You should pre order this book now, and maybe catch up with some of the previous books while you anxiously wait for this one!

I enjoy the Josie Quinn books…murder and intrigue…characters who come alive on the pages. This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks also to the publisher and the author. This is a spell binding cannot put down novel. Secrets…red herrings…the death of a beloved therapist/television personality/wife…then another murder…Josie Quinn, her husband, and their colleagues work to solve the murders before more die. This protagonist is one of my favorites. Her life has been far from easy, but she perseveres…she has found love again…she keeps on keeping on…a strong personality…enjoy this thriller. I must add that his author writes images that add to the overall reality in this book. She is one of my favorite writers.

Another great book in the Detective Josie Quinn series
Beau Collins is late home for his 15th wedding anniversary, and sees his wife’s assistant come rushing out of the house screaming and covered in blood. Call 911 Claudia is dead.
A book that grabs you by the throat from the first page and doesn’t let go. Nothing has been done today, I couldn’t put this book down

Superb

The Innocent Wife by Lisa Regan is book #16 in the Detective Josie Quin series. It's a madman's game! First Claudia Collins is found murdered. That was the first step in the game. Detective Josie Quin, her police lieutenant husband Noah Fraley, and the rest of the team are called in to investigate. Things get uglier from there. I just could not put down this book until the end. There's lots of action and suspense. Reintroducing a character from earlier in the series made this story quite interesting. This book is a great addition to the series.

Having just finished book sixteen of the Josie Quinn series by Lisa Regan, I can assure you that the queen retains her crown! Lisa has a way of starting out the book in a way that instantly sends you back to the beginning of the Josie series, and this one is no different. There will be many Luke fans who will be excited to see him return in book 16! But he's not alone this time, and his partner is someone that the Denton PD will need more than they ever dreamed possible the morning of Claudia Collins's death.

Claudia and Beau Collins, famed authors and television sensation relationship gurus, were the perfect couple. But were they? Not if they're the featured couple in a Lisa Reagan book! They both had secrets, but the question is, whose was more deadly? One might think Claudia since she was killed in the book's opening pages, but there's a reason this killer is after Beau and Claudia, and not all the secrets can be his, right? There is literally no way to know when it comes to how Ms. Reagan writes. There is never a straight path through any crime when it comes to Josie Quinn and her gang. There are twists, turns, loop de loops, threads that you are sure she's dropped only to find out not only had she not dropped them, but she had knitted another thread into that same one to make the case a labyrinth of confusing information that only the great Josie Quinn and her sidekick Noah, yes, I said her sidekick because let's be real, without Josie there is no Noah, can solve. With the team of Mett, Palmer, and Chitwood by her side, they have to figure out who killed Claudia and why before someone else dies. Unfortunately, they aren't fast enough. When the next murder happens, Josie is sure of one thing, it's more than just Beau and Claudia keeping secrets.

If you are an avid reader of the Josie Quinn series, you will realize that Luke coming back into the picture of Josie's work life will surely send her back to the time before Noah when she and Luke had a life together. While the case was incredibly intricate and very interesting to follow, watching Josie deal with Luke again, while knowing Noah is looking on, was even more telling about the changes Josie has made in her character since the beginning of the series. Losing her grandmother, Lisette, has matured her and given her a different perspective on life. What it hasn't done is change how she does police work. She follows her gut, even when her gut takes her someplace that no one else wants to follow her to. If this book were a movie, the gasps you'd hear through the audience as the ending unfolded would make it worthy of an Oscar nomination.

The Innocent Wife kept me riveted to the point I fell asleep reading two nights in a row to wake at two a.m. with my Kindle on my chest and my mind still trying to follow the clues. There is no question if you're a Josie Quinn fan that you will read this book and love it. If this is your first Josie Quinn novel, Reagan does an excellent job of letting you come in halfway through the series and still be able to follow the characters, the case, and the brilliance that is her pen on paper.
