4.25/5 stars! When I heard that this was a feminist retelling of Camelot, I RAN to read it. I've often thought that Guinevere has been modeled only as a conflict point between Lancelot and Arthur, rather than her own fully-developed individual. Getting to recognize this story through the lens of Guinevere, Ygraine, Morgana, and Nimue was an exciting experience and it was extremely well-written. I recognize that there were moments where the characters may still have felt constrained by their gender, but to me, this matches the world they lived in. Overall, a really enjoyable read.

I requested this one because it might be an upcoming title I would like to review on my Youtube Channel. However, after reading the first several chapters I have determined that this book does not suit my tastes. So I decided to DNF this one.
