This wasn’t worth reading at all. I felt like the story moved way too fast, to the point where it wasn’t realistic or enjoyable at all.

I loved this one! Honestly I love a good no spice romance and this was that! Overalll just a good story I love that it took place over one day and I loved the time loop

I loved this book! The premise is time loop with a twist and I couldn’t put it down while the plot unfolded and the romance developed!

When Gemma crashes into Jack at a coffee shop, it’s the beginning of a fascinating story for her. For Jack, it’s a replay of day he’s lived through many times, in a Groundhog Day type loop. This time, however, Gemma acts a little differently, giving Jack hope. He’s got to make her fall in love with him in one day to break the cycle in which they’re trapped. I don’t want to ruin the rest of the plot so I’ll stop here.

It’s a compelling premise and one that drew me in from the very beginning of the book. I literally couldn’t put this one down, 5 stars.

I got approved for this on NetGalley ages ago and just finally got around to reading it. This book was completely worth the wait. Gemma and Jack are definitely meant for each other, even if it takes a massive glitch in time to make it work.

Great romance story, minimal spice, and a definite recommend for anyone who likes Groundhog’s Day.

This book wasn't for me. I found that there was a lot happening but nothing really happened. I never felt the chemistry between the characters. Overall it was just an ok read.

I’ve never really read a time loop book before and I hadn’t read this author, so I was just excited to try it out. It didn’t disappoint! It is very Groundhog day-ish, but not in a boring way. A cute romance with relatable characters!

At first I was hesitant but then Holly James Wiring pulled me in and I kept going. It was interesting and different.

The Deja Glitch started out strong for me and I loved the first 2/3. Unfortunately it lost me a bit at the end. I love a good time loop story - always up for the next Groundhog Day! Also appreciated that in this one we jump in when it’s already happened for a long time so we just see one day and don’t get the repetition of the day. It had a lot of those fun 90s romcom vibes. However in the last third, it took it all a bit too far for me with some really over the top scenes and declarations when half of the couple literally just met that morning. I loved this book!! I was a bit hesitant at first because it was very Groundhog Day and 50 First Dates, but was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t get stuck in too much repetition. The book really did move along despite the time loop. The characters were charming and frustrating, and I was rooting for them. I highly recommend this book if you’re looking for a quick, fun, laugh-out-loud romance.

Gemma and Jack meet by chance at a coffee shop and Jack uses the opportunity to try to make Gemma fall in love with him. He wants to break out of a loop and experience The Déjà Glitch repeatedly. The story shows how one decision and person can change someone's life. It made me wish I could experience it too.

An adorable romance! I really love the time loop romances, as long as it doesn't become redundant, and this did a good job with it! Wish there was a little more banter, but otherwise a great time!

Never read a time-loop trope book for, and this one really didn’t disappoint! It was kinda cute, and I loved Jack, our MMC. Gemma, the FMC, wasn’t loved as much by me, but it was still a cute story. It was full of angst, grand gestures, and sweet nothings by both Jack and Gemma to have Jack prove that Gemma is his one true love in the world, but she just doesn’t fully know it because time keeps resetting. One big unbelievable thing for me was how much they got done in one day - did they have more than 24 hours in the day?! Overall, I’d recommend this one. Thanks for the opportunity to read!

Holly James does it again! A little bit of time travel, romance, and comedy! I am sold. This is the first time loop trope that I've read and I thought that it was handled well. I loved Gemma and Jack so much. Gemma's character is so lovely and I was routing for her the entire time. I also loved how Jack jumped right in to trying to figure out how to get them out of the loop and of course making her fall in love with him is the key! Just like Nothing But the Truth, this was such a feel good story to read.

Great premise of the story, but just an ok execution… I think the characters needed more of a slow burn.

Song Vibe: You And Me by Lifehouse

I thought Holly James was the pen name for another author, but that is not the case, and I can't believe I haven't read her before! I absolutely adored The Deja Glitch, and immediately put her debut on hold at the library after finishing it. This is the third time loop novel I have read in the past couple of weeks, and I was really satisfied with the uniqueness of it, so it didn't feel like I was reading the same story over again. I loved Gemma and Jack as well as Gemma's bestie Lila, and I could totally see this being made into a movie and being completely wonderful. Picoult's blurb on the book referred to this as a mix of Love Actually and Groundhog Day, and while I haven't watched Love Actually, I could see this being a spot-on comparison.

The audiobook for this was fantastic, and I thought Kristen DiMercurio & Dan Bittner both did an excellent job with their characters. The majority of The Deja Glitch is told from Gemma's viewpoint, so DiMercurio did end up narrating most of it and she nailed it. I thought she was perfect for Gemma, and she had just the right tone and pacing throughout. While this is a romance, there is also some family drama that we get thrown into, and though it didn't bring me to tears it was awfully close. There are some really great messages and characters in the novel and the end just made me so happy. Even though this isn't a holiday read it would be great to read around the holidays, and I loved every minute of it!

Gemma Peters is a radio producer with a world famous dad. She is making the way in the entertainment industry on her terms and no one else's. She has her BFF Lila and her pup Rex - what more does she need? One morning she walks into Jack, who is also distracted and Gemma ends up wearing the coffees she is taking back to the office. They talk and Gemma feels like she has met him before, but did she? He knows who she is, but why can she not remember.

As they talk, Jack informs her that they have met before, over 140 times, but Gemma does not remember. Jack has a thought on how to end this loop - Gemma needs to fall in love with him.

sadly this one just didn't work for me. It didn't feel very well thought out, and the characters were lack luster. I think that the premise could've been handled so differently. I just wanted more depth and a better plot.

I honestly did not remember anything about the premise of this book when I first started it and so was not anticipating the whole Groundhog's day, day repetition scenario that became evident pretty quickly on. But I did very much appreciate that this had a somewhat different approach what with the bulk of the story all taking place on a single instance of the weird time glitch, with one character describing the different days instead of literally reading all of the different iterations.

Though the start was a little slow I really liked how the story picked up and that it focused on the awareness of the characters as the day went on, how it made the instant love seem less icky as first Jack and then Gemma start to remember all of the many days they have spent together.

Overall I very much enjoyed this story and thought it was a fun little twist on the classic time loop style book.

This book was exactly what I was hoping for. The plot is in short our main male character has loved this day 146 times, and he is desperate to move to the next day. The female main character has not lived this day before, but runs into a bunch of roadblocks. The goal by the end of the day that true love unlocks the glitch.

What I loved about this book is that we didn't ever truly see the 140 something other days. It's not repetitive, it's just one day. The whole book is one day, and how everything can truly change to what you need. It wasn't spicy, and was unique. It talked through love, family issues, and sometimes how we need a change and don't recogize it.

I feel like I just scratched the surface in the review, but it is one of those books I'll think of for a while. This is one I can tell I will think of, and there is a strong possibility to reread so I can pick up on nuisances that I missed.
