This was great read, Thank you Netgalley. The storyline is strong and very relatable. The characters are all affected by one man's actions and it trickles through all their lives. So powerful and sad on some levels what one person's bad choices can cause for others. The female characters feel like someone we might all know and hearing the story really hit me. Overall a compelling read!!

The author’s academic background lends weight to this gripping novel, exploring women and their experience in society. I loved and hated the characters with equal energy, showing how engaged I was in this book! Well written and hopefully the start of many more to come.

this was what I was hoping for from the beginning to the Heartland Trilogy series, it had a great concept and I enjoyed going on this journey with the characters. It does everything that I was hoping for and does it really well. Cynthia J. Bogard does a great job in writing this story and creating a great journey. I can't wait to see where this series will go and from the author.

"Dollar for your thoughts,” Lena leaned over and whispered. The rest of the group was discussing a new club that was opening on Regent Street. “A dollar, huh? You must think I’ve got pretty racy thoughts.” I could feel Chuck tuning in next to me while he pretended to be interested in the other conversation."
