A quick, cute, light hearted book that will provoke many questions with your little ones. What. is art? Who makes the judgement? Is it the artist, the curator, the viewer? Can art be made by animals and if so, does it matter than it was an animal rather than a human?

I liked that the author gave each of the birds a different look and personality, but didn’t actually give them names. It was a unique choice.

I think this book was pretty solidly OK. The kind of book you don’t regret checking out from the library but soon forget about. The art was cute and the story was too, but my 4 year old got a bit confused and the message got a little lost. Overall: it was fine!

The artwork in this book if fantastic! It's so soft and colorful, it really draws the eyes. I also really enjoyed the commentary from the pigeons throughout the story!

Thank you, Kind World Publishing, for the advance reading copy.

I find this book quite interesting as it is both happy and sad.

I find the illustrations so good. Water colour vibes. And then there’s the neat perfect art sequence page to page. It’s done well.

Our four pigeon friends are getting their crow friend’s artwork into a museum and it’s the story of this event!

I would say it’s well done. A different story. A different style of artwork. So worth it.

I have 3 words for you - sassy bird commentary. That is what makes this book so great - the commentary from the others in the story. Really makes it jump off the page. And then getting stuck in the revolving door was too funny.
Love this book. Only wish it had been a tad longer.
