This was just fine, I almost dnfd but started over and finish and I’m not mad about it. I liked the sneaking around in Hollywood and the unexpected ending

I really enjoyed the dual POVs and storyline but I had a difficult time connecting with the characters. Thanks to the author, Random House and NetGalley for the ARC.

If you're a fan of romance novels featuring famous characters, then you will undoubtedly adore this book! It tells the captivating tale of Lilah and Shane, two strangers who auditioned for a television show nine years ago and were both cast in the lead roles. On the show, their characters are involved in an epic love story that has garnered a massive following among fans. However, Lilah and Shane can't stand each other in real life. They can't even be in the same room without arguing. But wait, there's more to their story! The excellent writing takes you on a journey with a dual timeline, revealing the backstory of their love/hate relationship. You'll be hooked entirely by Lilah and Shane's off-screen romance and the events that led to their break up. The reasons behind their fall-out are so true to life and understandable. I loved how there was no quick fix and that it took the characters a lot of time, effort, and personal growth to realize they wanted to test the waters of a relationship again. They didn't rush or brush off their experience in between. I loved that they got to know themselves and each other through individual and couples therapy. This is a slow-burn, lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers, second-chance romance and requires some patience as they take their sweet time finding their way back to each other. But trust me, when they do, it will be worth it. The author has indeed captured the essence of their story, and I absolutely adored this book.

Lilah and Shane met auditioning for the TV Show Intangible 9 years ago and had instant chemistry, so much that it help them land the lead roles. But while that connection helped catapult the show to success, it created personal challenges for them off screen and Lilah decides to leave the show after season 5 to pursue other projects. But when those projects don't pan out, Lilah decides to come back for the final season where her and Shane's characters will finally get together, but will they finally admit their feelings they have for each other in real life?

This was a delightful read and I liked how there was back and forth in the timeline to convey how the assumptions that they both made over the years (correct and incorrect) impacted their relationship and how they tried to find ways to work through it all!

Thank you to netgalley for providing me a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Maybe contemporaries aren't my thing much anymore, but I had a really hard time getting into this one. I was intrigued by the chemistry between these two, but ultimately Lilah was so shrill and just unpleasant as a heroine that it made me really hard to get into the story. If you're into celebrity romance, or ever wonder if you're favorite duo hooked up, you will probably enjoy this one.

If you must know i’m a sucker for these type of books and I found myself really enjoying this story! The characters were hilarious together, I loved the constant bickering that it made it impossible not to love them. I was so excited to get an arc for this book and I was not disappointed. If anyone is looking for a fun, easy read revolving around two co-stars who are obsessed with eachother, this story is for you!

Will They or Won't They by Ava Wilder was an entertaining romantic comedy that had me laughing and rooting for the characters. The witty banter and chemistry between the leads kept me engaged from start to finish. If you're in the mood for a fun, feel-good read, give this one a shot!

Wow I loved this one so much! Lilah and Shane were absolutely adorable and faced some real problems and fears in relationships. It made the sweet moments that much sweeter! I loved the Hollywood aspect of it and all the behind the scenes. Not to mention their show gave me huge vampire diaries vibes which we love! Big big recommend.

Lilah Hunter and Shane McCarthy first crossed paths during auditions for the paranormal television series “Intangible.” The undeniable chemistry and attraction between them quickly led to a romantic relationship. However, their love story took an abrupt turn, ending after the first season. The following four seasons saw them as bitter rivals, harbouring animosity towards each other until Lilah made the decision to exit the show.

Now, with the ninth and final season of “Intangible” on the horizon, Lilah returns to the cast. The burning question: Can they put aside their past grievances and collaborate without bringing drama to the set?

I love stories with dual timelines, and I really appreciated how Ava Wilder skillfully developed this narrative device. It provided essential background information about the characters in a well-paced and engaging manner.

The banter between Lilah and Shane was both entertaining and heartwarming. I often found myself grinning and even laughing as I read their interactions.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for sending a digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I tried to get into this book but I found it boring and didn't connect really well with the characters. The development was lacking and the chemistry was non-existent

I absolutely adored this book. Picked it up yesterday around midnight and finished it a day later at midnight. I absolutely loved the aspect of two famous people and what happened behind the scenes with them and their relationship. Both main characters where so much fun. I liked their banter, even though it really wasn’t necessary if main characters talked for once.

Really, really enjoyed it.

I started this one when I was pregnant and in a weird headspace and I’m sad it took me so long to finish! I really enjoyed finding out what happened between Lilah and Shane.

When this story first starts you really wonder what happened between these two to despise each other so much! They really did need the time apart to be able to come back together and it was a fun story to watch unfold!

I can’t wait to see what Ava writes next!

I did receive an advance copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

I absolutely loved this book!! The slow burn, enemies to lovers was perfection. I love dual POV in enemies to lovers romances and this one did not disappoint. The main characters were three dimensional and realistic, and I loved them both.

This was good enough, and I enjoyed the on-again-off-again lust-love. I don’t have a lot more to say - it’s not that deep.

Such a great set up - two former costars brought back together to film the final season of their popular TV show! It had second chance, enemies to lovers, and forced proximity vibes. I loved the banter, and am always a fan of dual POV. The behind-the-scenes look at Hollywood was fun, and I had fun imagining what might have happened with some of my favorite onscreen pairs after reading this. A fun read!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC!

Ava Wilder is fantastic at writing in this genre. It’s my second book of hers and I loved it as much as the first.

This one also does well with enemies to lovers because you have actually real conflict in the characters complex history with one another and not just some silly “conflict” that goes away like nothing.

Enemies to lovers, second chance romance and a dual POV book. This book is about Sean and Lilah who are costars on a tv show and the tension of their relationship. I loved reading about their story and was especially surprised with the twist at the end.

I had a feeling that this one would be a good one, and I was not disappointed. I read Ava's How to Fake Date in Hollywood last year, and it really was a pretty decent read for me. Will They or Won't They tops that astronomically! The back and forth and forth and back with these MC's was intriguing to say the least. I really enjoyed the concept of the co-stars turned lovers turned enemies turned somewhat friends and back to lovers haha. 10/10 recommend!

I so badly wanted to love this after loving How to Fake it in Hollywood but this was not as enjoyable to me. I did not feel that they were ever dating and thus never had a reason to break up or get back together. This just was meh to me.

I wanted to love this one. I really did. Ava Wilder has become an auto request for me. I LOVED How To Fake It In Hollywood. But Will They or Won't They just missed the mark for me. I thought both Lilah and Shane were entitled, bratty, arrogant and too stubborn for their own good. Honestly I didn't really care if they got together or not. This could have been such a cute story but an inability to connect with the characters made me want more.

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
