I requested this book in order to improve my skills with the spanish language, wich I have some intermediate knowledge, but wasn't been training along the recent years. So I decided to check on kids stories, for I can develop more vocabulary with easy, little by little again. And it did work! I had fun reading and surely the children would be too with this one.

🐣Whimsical 🐛🐤😊

Who knew?! Not me! This is a fun, simple lesson about taste and food preferences. Some of the words may stretch a tot's vocabulary (will they really understand what savory is?) but read it with your favorite preschooler and you'll both enjoy the pictures and whimsical text. This is the perfect type of child's book to be issued in various languages to reach more children because its scientific lessons are universal.

Thanks to BooksGoSocial and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the story; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

I read the Spanish version, Los Pollitos No Comen Caramelos, and it was adorable. The illustrations are cute and the text is informative and a little silly. ¡Qué increíble!
