If you like juicy rich people drama then do I have a book for you! This book was fun and scandalous. An enjoyable read perfect for summer!

Let me start by saying that this is not a book filled with shocking twists and turns. Nothing heart-stopping and unexpected happens. But still, it sucks you in. It is like watching a house burn down and collapse and you can’t do anything about it, yet it is so fascinating that you have no choice but to keep watching. And then keep watching the smoking embers and all the mayhem. Just stand there and watch. Or read, as in this case.

This book has a serious Pretty Little Liars meets the Lying Game, meets the Gallagher Girls, meets the Gossip Girl, all while Lorde’s “Royals” is blasting in the background. But this one is the adult version. Mostly. Yes, some unsupervised teens are doing stupid things, but they are not really a part of the story. This is the grownup version of all the things I have mentioned. The grownups of this crazy party – mostly rich women – they go through some serious “when it rains, it pours” phase. You read it and watch all this hot mess express happening and increasing in volume exponentially.

Did I say I loved it? Loved it so much. Enjoyed it so much. The pace was perfect, and the characters were horrible, and the writing was good. The book was absolutely perfect.

I’m at 6% and why does Poppy have 28 teeth only and how come Heather knows it?
I’m at 65% and what is the deal with those boarding schools? I have been to one. at about the same age as those kids. It was perfect for me – to be safe. But what about parents who want to get rid of their kids? Why? Why do they have kids if they want to get rid of them?

Ultimately, No One Needs to Know fell a flat for me. Yes, it was a quick, bingeable read, but I felt wanting more. I understood the motivations of Heather, Poppy, and Norah, but I also thought the wrap-up of the story was too tidy. The scandal that followed the characters was easy to digest, left me wanting more, but also by the end of the story I was not longer invested in the interests of the three main characters. If you need something to devour by the pool, this is the perfect pick.

This book was mostly okay. I love the premise of rich people complaining anonymously, but did we really need them to get hacked? No. In fact, it didn't play into the overall premise too much. The novel shows promise from the author, but this book fell a little bit flat.

Unfirtunately, this book was not for me. The formatting of thepages bothered me (a personal thing); too many words on a page makes me feel like I am getting no where. I have no desire to read about stuck up rich New Yorkers when I deal with that in real life.

It’s all here - juicy gossip and murder, secrets, indiscretions leading to blackmail, uppity wealthy ladder climbers. These NYC affluent couples, children, nannies, housekeepers and doormen are all clawing to attain their dreams, make a better life. The kids have to go to the best schools, camp, activities and be in the right social circle. The small enclave of expensive condos with well to do residents has a new anonymous social media app (confidentially on social media? Ha!) just for airing their complaints, secrets, questions, rumors, etc. Until it’s hacked and all is revealed.
The primary couples aren’t exactly friends, more like competitors in their social circle. Who has the biggest apartment, best interior designer, or the largest donation to ensure a coveted prestigious school acceptance. Each of them has as many secrets as they have dollars. None were particularly likable or likely to be in my social circle but it sure was fun to read about their lives! Money might not solve all problems but it couldn’t hurt when covering up a murder. It’s a perfect escapist read and with summer nearly here, a quintessential beach read. The plot kept me engaged trying to pick out the murderer and the reveal was completely out of the blue. This is a new author to me, I will certainly watch for her future endeavors.

No One Needs To Know is written for the Gossip Girl generation! This book is like a motherhood/neighborhood drama meets Gossip Girl, especially with the message boards and emails thrown in, I really enjoyed this story!

Very reminiscent of Big Little Lies, New Housewives and Gossip Girl all combined together.

Money, secrets, drama, and infidelity told from 3 points of view — Heather, Norah and Poppy — all trying to stay on top while trying to get their children on the way to the top, too.

The author wove together the stories of each of the main characters well throughout the plot, however, I feel like it didn’t really pick up until the last 70-80% of the book and dragged a little in the middle. It was a good story, but it was a little slow for me and the ending wasn’t as big of a reveal as I thought it might be.

Overall, it was an okay read. I feel like it just fell a little flat.

This was such a juicy, drama filled thriller, and I could not put it down. I definitely did not see how it was all going to come together. This was like Gossip Girl mixed with The Real Housewives. The filthy rich in the Upper East Side post all their secrets on Urban Myth, anonymously. Until one day, the website is hacked and all the secrets come spilling out. The scandals, mystery, and all the webs the characters weaved, made this one wild ride. It was fast paced and was told from multiple POVs, which I always love. I absolutely loved this book!

This book is a page turner about rich people drama and secrets. None of the characters were likeable and they were all suspicious to me. It is a slow burn but at one point I had to keep reading to see what was going to happen. I really enjoyed it.

This was a pretty good mystery! I enjoyed the story line and thought it was well developed. Normally, I have trouble picking out twists and turns and didn't see all the ones in this. It was good! I enjoyed it! Lindsay is great at crafting a story that pulls you in and she did it again! I thoroughly enjoy the writing style she has and this was great!

It’s no secret that residents of New York’s Upper East Side are wealthy. But with that wealth comes a LOT of drama. And secrets. An app is created for users to post anonymously to a forum, and soon the forum is full of scandalous details of their lives. Posts about blackmail, affairs, accusations, anything you would never want to say out loud. But what happens when that app is hacked and nobody’s secrets are secret anymore?

This story is captivating. I can’t say that I could fully relate to the characters, because that lifestyle is completely foreign to me. I will never be able to just pay away all of my problems. But boy is it fascinating, and infuriating at the same time. The way some of these characters (Poppy…) genuinely think that having money make them superior to others, it’s disgusting. But I always say that a story that can bring out such strong emotions in me is a great book.

The story line was wild. The constant chaos and trying to figure out everyone’s secrets and lies and who’s plotting what…it kept me on my toes. I didn’t want to put it down! It definitely gives *Gossip Girl* vibes, so if you were a fan of the show, READ THIS BOOK!

3.5 stars. An interesting thriller with plenty of twists and turns that seems to have shades of Real Housewives of NYC and Big Little Lies! Set in the Upper East Side of NYC, this involves a posh private school, helicopter parents, and a plethora of secrets — many of which get revealed through the course of the novel. A page-turner to be sure, and one with a very fitting ending.

This was my first time reading a book by Lindsay Cameron and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. This is more like a women's fiction book with lots of drama and secrets mixed in. It was an easy read and I think the author did a good job weaving the plot together. I liked the writing and I liked the New York setting. I also enjoyed all three points of view so that was a plus even though most of the characters were unlikeable.

There were a few minor things that didn't work for me. One being the mystery element which I felt was weak. The reveal also was a little flat and didn't really surprise me. I thought things would end with a bang, but that didn't quite happen. I also thought there were some things that were left unresolved. But none of those things stopped me from liking the book. I'd happily read more from this author in the future.

This story is full of scandal, rich parents, infidelity, and secrets. It has major Big Little Lies vibes.

It takes place in the Upper East Side of New York and involves three sets of parents whose middle school children attend the same high end school.

When someone is found murdered, the story rewinds and provides multiple POVs to illustrate how it all went down and how everyone is connected.

It was on the slower side but was easy to breeze through with all the juicy gossip and wildly inappropriate antics of the rich New Yorkers.

I recommend this to anyone who enjoys popcorn thriller filled with drama. I found it entertaining.

UrbanMyth was anonymous right up until it wasn't. Postings are then made public, and what trouble that all stirs up.

An "anonymous" social media site for a super wealthy New York neighborhood gets hacked, revealing all of the dirty little secrets of its users. The lies, the gory details of marriages, the desires for harm to spouses- all open in the blink of an eye - and the fallout is magnificent!

This book hooked me. It was like watching a bad car accident... you can't stop looking no matter how bad it gets. I have literally no comprehension of the lifestyle that these people lead, but the author did a good job painting the picture of each character. I loved them, I hated them, I couldn't get enough of them. Every time I put the book down, I wanted to pick it back up and keep going. I NEEDED to know what was going to happen next.

Clever concept with an interesting plot development. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes these style of books.
