This was such a well written book that kept me turning the page to find out what happens next!

This book was a juicy romp through a scandal in the the social media-laced world of Upper East Side moms. Definitely for fans of gossip girl, there’s certainly a little thriller vibes but nothing scary. I tore through this is about two sittings and think it would be great for a beach or plane read.

That said, the three main women - all with relatively forgettable, similar names of Norah, Poppy, and Heather - were nearly indistinguishable to be and I had a lot of difficulty telling them apart. I also felt like the book was a tad bit longer than it needed to be - some descriptions dragged a little and could’ve been cut short.

Was a real quick read once you got into it- three women whose children all attend the same UES prep school will do anything to bump their children ahead in life, whether it be college, sports, or popularity. This book gave me major Gossip Girl vibes, which I loved. I was a little confused by all characters and multiple points of view at the beginning of the book, but eventually it settled into a rhythm. The characters were ones you loved to hate, so once the plot got moving I had a hard time putting the book down. Only giving it 4 stars because the end felt a bit rushed to me- I loved the final chapter of the book (and who narrated it), but I think a bit more plot development would have helped bump it up a notch. Recommend for anyone in the mood for a Desperate Housewives, Gossip Girl style book or anyone who likes books by May Cobb.

An entertaining thriller, once i got past not liking the characters. Rich women's concerns, over which fancy schools there kids get into, prenups, marrying for money, staying in loveless marriages etc.......Three women with secrets that get exposed when an online site that they confide in gets hacked, added in extortion and affairs and a missing husband and it became a more juicy store 3.5 rounded up

Thriller? Not really…
I’m sorry but it wasn’t really thrilling. I found it rather boring. I spent the whole book wondering what the prologue had to do with the book. Which was a bunch of rich characters with their own secrets and their own agendas. Sometimes the characters would be in the middle of dialogue and spend two pages describing something before continuing the dialogue. There was a lot of filler info that wasn’t necessarily to the plot, and I found myself skipping pages of info and continuing where I felt the plot contained.

Sorry this book wasn’t for me.

Everyone knows everything because the elite within a 3 block radius post all their naughty machinations on a site called Urban Myth. They believe they are safe doing so anonymously.

But then it gets hacked and whoooooo does this get good.

I bet you that you won't be able to decide whether Heather, Poppy or Norah is more awful. I couldn't and that's okay because it just made it better.

I really enjoyed this book. It was an engaging story; I liked the different points of view and the characters. I wasn't expecting the ending. I definitely recommend this.

Heather - the woman who is constantly boxed out of the Upper East Side. Never the biggest salary, the nicest things, or enough influence. She’s willing to do anything for her daughter, but will she take it too far?

Norah - the woman who grew from humble beginnings, and worked until she was making seven figures a year. Removed from the happenings of the Upper East Side - too busy in a work meeting - not even she is safe from being drug into the dark underbelly of living in the most sought-after zip code.

I flew through this one and stayed up entirely too late finishing it. I couldn't put it down until I had unraveled all of the interworkings of what happened, and exactly who had their manicured hand involved.

Norah, Heather, and Poppy have frequently used this site, spilling their secrets freely and contributing to gossip. From shoplifting and cheating on spouses to the pressure of getting their children into the best schools, these women held nothing back. But when one of their husbands goes missing, they realize how much blind faith they had in sharing their deepest secrets on this once anonymous site.

I was hooked from the beginning! This book gave me Gossip Girl vibes and I did not want to put it down. The story alternates between the three women’s perspectives, whose lives often collide. I would recommend this book to drama/suspense readers.

I love some rich people drama and this had it! It was a fun quick mystery thriller that kept my attention. Maybe Gossip Girl vibes? I enjoyed it and look forward to other books from this author.

Rich moms will do anything to get their children to the top. This book brings money, greed, lies, deceit, infidelity, and family together for a perfect drama/mystery/thriller.
One of my favorite books so far this year!

I thought this book was just alright. I feel like nothing really stood out to me. But it was a solid mystery/thriller read.

I think I discovered or decided that books about rich snobby women aren’t for me. That being said if that’s your cup of tea then take my review with a grain of salt.

This is my second book by Cameron. Both books I didn’t necessarily hate but neither are ones I’d recommend. It took about getting to around 30% to get interesting, and then eventually just got to where I was thinking to myself “get to the point!”. I didn’t like any of the characters (and yes I can like a bad character) so I wasn’t invested in the story for any reason other than wanting to know the ending. I’ll most always be a sucker for finishing a book to find out the end haha. Also the actual plot was kind of ridiculous (just meh) especially since it was about kids in 8th grade & their obnoxious parents.

A minor thing for some I did notice some repetition in word choice or descriptions. Examples being splotchy red faces, digging fingernails into their palms, blinking rapidly - all mentioned multiple times. Plenty of times to where it was enough to be noticed. It had an interesting wrap-up to the mystery of the book but by no means was this one I’m going to suggest anyone go read. Unfortunately. For the most part I truly think Cameron is a great writer & I think she has the potential for a really great book. I think I’d give one more book of hers a try, see how she progresses as an author, because I do think she has what it takes to write a good book.

Another winner from Lindsay Cameron! No One Needs to Know brings the drama of an online forum into real life - I am loving this as a plot device lately - forums, podcasts, whatever it might be, I find myself enjoying this format a lot lately. And NYC rich people behaving badly? Say no more..

I was so excited to read this after reading the synopsis. I thought it was gonna be similar to gossip girl. It fell flat for me. I didn’t think it ever got exciting and the ending & who the killer was was so disappointing. Altogether it was just ok for me.

A delicious tale of deceit and powerplays. It is as if Big Little Lies and Desperate Housewives had a baby. I could not read this one fast enough and read it within a day timeframe. I won't go too deep into the synopsis of the book, being as you can read that easily enough. I loved the vantage point of seeing things unfold through the eyes of the main characters and the addition of the "anonymous" chat board provided for a fun distraction and once the "anonymous" part was hacked it was fun to see whom wrote what, which added another layer to some of the main characters. Highly enjoyable read, be sure to put it on your summer list

thank you so much netgalley for the chance to read this book early! i had really high hopes for this book but it gave me big little lies vibes throughout and seemed very similar in alot of ways and it did not keep my attention at all. i wanted to get through this book as fast as i could so i just read it quick. nothing about this book really kept my interest and wasn't super shocking and just kind of fell flat for me. it was eh to be honest.

Ok for me I am giving this one 3 stars. I was very intrigued by the premise of this storyline described as an anonymous neighborhood forum that gets hacked and the darkest secrets of New York’s wealthy residents come to light, which include some worth killing for. There are three main characters in this book and it shifts between perspectives, but then there’s a lot of other characters thrown into the mix making it a little confusing to follow. This was a bit slow paced for me and I didn’t really like any of these characters at all, which I guess is the point for this storyline. Unfortunately, this one just fell a bit flat for me but I wouldn’t discourage anyone from checking this out!

I was really looking forward to reading this book, but to be honest, it kind of disappointed me. It took too long to get to the heart of the matter (the hacking) and I found that the revelation of the secrets was not as explosive as I would have hoped it would be.

This was a quick, and fun read. It kind of gave me… gossip girl vibes? Pretty little liars vibes? I’m not sure. But I loved it.
