This was very good and hard to put down. Reminded me of Gossip Girl. I've discovered that Lindsay Cameron books are always a win for me.

In a world where secrets are currency and anonymity is a prized possession, the exclusive UrbanMyth discussion board provided Manhattan's Upper East Side elite with a sanctuary to divulge their deepest confessions. From clandestine affairs to hidden bank accounts, residents bared their souls under the guise of anonymity. But when a group of hackers breaches the forum's security, exposing the true identities of its users, the repercussions reverberate through the corridors of power with deadly consequences.

As tensions rise and suspicions mount, the question of who is behind the murder looms large. Is it Heather, the determined outsider willing to go to any lengths to secure her daughter's place among the elite? Or Norah, the high-flying executive struggling to juggle career demands with the complexities of motherhood? Perhaps it's Poppy, whose polished exterior belies a multitude of secrets lurking beneath the surface.

In a world where appearances are everything and deception runs deep, each of these women harbors their own hidden truths, willing to go to any lengths to protect their carefully constructed facades. But as the investigation deepens and alliances are tested, the true extent of their desperation becomes clear, leaving no one untouched by the web of deceit.

This was just okay. I had high hopes for this as it’s described as Big Little Lies meets Gossip Girl, but this was just not as scandalized as I’d hope. The characters were dull and lacked any depth.

An upper class neighborhood forum was hacked and dark secrets are revealed. It was supposed to be anonymous. It was supposed to be confidential. Someone ends up dead.

Twisty mystery about the other half and how they live, with characters you will love and/or hate. Took some time to get into, but an interesting plot and some turn of events that you will not expect. Would recommend!

This was fun and juicy, about secrets among rich people in what feels like an insular small town...but is actually New York City. I liked the timely idea about an anonymous website where people in your town spill secrets and gossip, and the fun of the tangled webs woven by the many intersecting characters. There's just enough romance, intrigue, and finally murder to keep things interesting till the last page. I liked the slightly snarky tone, sense of humor, and good characterizations. The ending was a fun surprise. I would definitely read this author again.

I really wanted this thriller to work for me, however that was not the case. Has it not been for a review I would have Dnf'd this thriller. I tried to get into the story, but the writing really took me out a lot.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of the book in exchange for a honest review.

As long as you take this book as a popcorn summer read, you can really enjoy No One Needs to Know. After reading, I felt like me and my best friend had just gone through a long gossiping session. The characters were memorable with some you'll love and some you'll hate. I didn't really feel a connection with anyone and I had a sense I read something very similar to this before. However, by midpoint, the plot did pick up and become more interesting as the secrets revealed got more salacious. The ending was just ok for me. Overall, an entertaining Gossip Girl style novel for adults.

This was ok, I powered through the last bit because it was very slow for my liking. While it was not for me it could be for you

No One Needs To Know
By Lindsay Cameron
Review and Rating 3 ⭐️

No One Needs To Know by Lindsey Cameron is a fun little read about a group of wealthy New York residents with secrets to keep, who think the secrets are safe on an anonymous online forum. Then the forum gets hacked… they will do anything to keep the secrets hidden, until someone winds up dead.
If you are a fan of Big Little Lies and similar, you will enjoy this one. 3⭐️

I want to thank NetGalley and Bantam Books for the eARC. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Lindsay Cameron's "No One Needs To Know" dives into the opulent, yet scandalous, world of New York's Upper East Side. The story follows a group of interconnected characters, each harboring dark secrets, who find themselves entangled in a web of lies and manipulation fueled by an anonymous app called "Urban Myth."

The novel is a fast-paced read, perfect for those seeking a bit of escapism. The plot unfolds with plenty of twists and turns, keeping you guessing until the very end. The characters, while not always likable, are undeniably captivating. Their ambition, desperation, and moral ambiguity provide a fascinating glimpse into the depths human nature can reach.

Overall, "No One Needs To Know" is a solid summer read. It offers a satisfying dose of drama, scandal, and juicy secrets, making it a perfect choice for fans of soapy fiction.

This is definitely not a book to read if you hate the 1%, lol. But if you want to see how they live, come on in! This had twists and turns and an ending I wasn't expecting. 4 stars!

If you like Gossip Girl or reading about the 1%, then you just might like this book! Personally, I looove diving into the world of the elite and seeing how the other half lives, so this was a great one for me! It had a good story with mostly surface-level characters and some mystery thrown in for good measure. This would make for a great read while sitting out by the pool!

Lindsay Cameron's "No One Needs to Know" is an irresistible tale of secrets, scandals, and murder set in the high-stakes world of Manhattan's Upper West Side.

If Tinx were creating a Rich Mom package on the luxurious Upper West Side, as depicted in the novel No One Needs to Know, she would feature Urban Myth an anonymous discussion board. This is where the characters of the story reveal their deepest secrets - secrets that they wouldn't even communicate with their closest friends or significant others. Everything from hidden bank accounts to hush-hush affairs and scandalous gossip. These same characters would go above and beyond to ensure their children's admission into the most prestigious boarding schools and universities. However, when hackers breached this forum and revealed the real identities of each poster, the effects were felt throughout Park Avenue with a magnitude that no one could have predicted.

And then, of course, somebody ends up dead.

Heather Quinn, a former Wall Street executive, aims to secure her daughter's admission to an Ivy League boarding school. However, Violet's reputation is tarnished when a photo of her vaping surfaces on Instagram, along with false accusations of drug dealing. Heather investigates and confronts the snobbish Upper West Side moms who might be behind the rumours. And those women play for keeps.

The story is filled with twists and turns that keep you guessing until the end, even though the resolution may feel too convenient. But hey, in a world where everyone has something to hide, and no one is who they seem, who needs a perfect ending anyway? "No One Needs to Know" is the perfect guilty pleasure read for those who love a mix of suspense, satire, and a splash of murder. Just be careful not to put it all out there, on some anonymous message board...

You know what they say....nothing is anonymous online....even if you think it is! Here's a twisted tale of just how true that is! Well done.

A good suspenseful thriller that revolves around things that happen due to sharing too much information on social media. The story is told through multiple POVs, which keeps you invested in the main characters and guessing the outcome. Lots of secrets and lies in this quick read. 4 stars

Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC of this book.

If you’re looking for a rich people, suburban drama, this is it. It was a super fast read, although nothing super surprising or shocking, I still enjoyed it and binged it over 2 days.

I enjoyed the mixed media aspect, with the chat boards and emails that were sent. It gave it a fun, modern twist on the everyday thriller.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.
