Thus was a cookbook with an interesting layout, with both French and English descriptions which made it somewhat hard to organise. The recipes re pretty straightforward and easy to follow but it just isn't laid out well and isn't reader/user friendly.

Not a book I would keep on my recipe book shelf.

worst cookbook or hybrid book I’ve looked at…unprofessional photos and text not sure how to make this one hundred words but I think
It should be made unavailable to NetGalley readers who would find it laughable

The recipes looked delicious and were nice and simply explained. I would have wished there was more, but I understand it's a dual purpose book. I mostly picked it up for the recipes!

Learn French while cooking French recipes. Besides the fun concept the book is a little messy and hard to follow. Everything just looks basic and unedited. I received an advance copy of this book and I’m hoping it will look better before publishing. The recipes start with a basic photo that don’t look professional, and then there’s a description in English. Then there are phrases in French with English between parentheses. As we keep reading the text will be in French and then English. It gets a little messy and hard to follow, I would need to get used to it. Not every recipe has a photo so it gets even more confusing. The cover looks good. I hope they change the layout of the book and add some more photos. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review
