A cold blooded killer is on parole after being released for good behaviour. His aim is to punish the people that put him behind bars.
Solomon Shepard is the Prosecutor who will never be safe, and neither will anyone close to him, until the killer is apprehended.

This is the first book I have read by Victor Methos, but it definitely will not be the last!
Fast paced and engaging from the first chapter, it kept me up until I could not keep my eyes open, and I picked up the book to finish it when I woke up.

Definitely a 5 star book. Well written and planned out perfectly.

Thanks to the publishers and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Big thanks to both Thomas & Mercer and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of The Grave Singer!

*Expected publication: April 25th 2023*

Whoa! What a wild ride The Grave Singer was. I was biting my nails! The books that Victor Methos writes are quickly becoming some of my favorites.

Alonso Hafeez is out of prison after eleven years, and he’s determined to prove that Shepard tried him for a crime he didn’t commit. And he’s got something special planned: kidnapping Shepard and forcing him to revisit Hafeez’s case in an elaborately staged retrial.

I love the friendship Solomon Shepard and Sheriff Billie Gray share. (Hmm ... might it turn into something more?) What an amazing story arc The Grave Singer has. There were so many twists, and the suspense seemed to never end!

I'm eager to see where the team of Shepard and Gray goes next!

Tension from first page to the last! What a ride. Plan on not doing anything else until you finish this one. Main duo is so well fleshed out that caring about them makes the ride only more intense, and the bad guy one of the most evil you will come across. This series is some of Methos best!

I thought this was a really well done story, it worked great as a revenge tale. The plot was what I was hoping for and worked really well with the description. The characters worked really well in the story and felt like real people, I really felt for the characters and could understand their motivation. I look forward to reading more from Victor Methos and look forward to read more from him.

"Billie slightly tilted her head and took a breath. Whatever she was about to say, she chose not to and instead calmly replied, “That’s not fair, and you know it. Everyone knows we’re close. Can you imagine what it would look like if I worked this without telling anyone? I let Knox know and told him that I wouldn’t be part of the investigation. That’s it. That’s my involvement.”
