This book exceeded my expectations. While I initially thought it was just a cookbook, it's actually filled with valuable tips and information for maintaining a healthy lifestyle amidst a busy schedule. The recipes are great, but what really stands out is the wealth of knowledge it offers. Great if you're seeking guidance on adopting a healthier approach to food and need help creating a meal plan.

Thank you NetGalley for the gifted copy of "The Sculpt Plan" by Anita Rincon

I absolutely loved this cookbook, I have several recipes saved. Looking forward to purchasing the physical copy of this book, and getting to work in the Kitchen!

This cookbooks is great! The recipes are delicious (the ones I tried and even based on reading they all seem excellent). and super easy to follow. The variety is also there. This doesn't really feel like a "diet" cookbook, just a varied selection of recipes with a different take on some familiar recipes.

This book really surprised me. It’s not like any “diet” book I’ve read before. And believe me I’ve read a lot. The biggest difference in this is there is actually support and a plan for after you lose the weight. Talk about a game changer. The recipes are terrific but the best part is the meal builder section. You aren’t stuck eating what the author tells you because that isn’t sustainable. This lifestyle is. The author sets you up for success.

An attractively packaged book, this weight loss plan may appeal to younger dieters. I was unaware when requesting a preview copy that The Sculpt Plan is a company and this book one of many products and facets of the program. The reader must decide if buying into the diet plan and associated features of “the app” referred to frequently, are the desired activities the individual wants. Several of the recipes at the back were appealing and the food photography is first-rate.

I was excited to read and review this book but for some reason I can’t find it on my NetGalley’s app so unfortunately I can’t have access to it anymore and I’m unable to review it. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review

I'm really impressed with this book. There's a lot of recipes that look really good and a comprehensive meal plan with lots of substitutions. I also appreciate the fact that it is written in a way that encourages body positivity, while also focusing on health goals.

This book is absolutely stunning visually. The color schemes, the fonts, the photography, the layout...all of it is breath-taking. However, it's hard not to feel like that's all this book really has going for it to differentiate it from the rest of the genre. The self-help and cookbook markets are very saturated. While this book definitely stands out aesthetically, there wasn't a whole lot of content that actually set it apart. Not to say that this is a bad thing. A lot of people (myself included) are more likely to engage with a book that they find pleasing to look at. If that helps someone get into taking care of their health in a way that works for them, fantastic! I just wish this pretty package had come with a bit more depth.

Finally!!! A diet plan that just makes sense and I would be able to follow!

I would love to see these released with a template (preferably digital) for meal planning.

Will be keeping an eye out for this to hit the shelves so I can buy myself a hard copy.

Will definitely be recommending it to friends also.

Gorgeous book. I love the recipes and how they’re differentiated for each of the weight loss groups.

The plus of this book is that it really summarizes the basic steps of a lifestyle shift. I've been working on nutrition and health for years now, so I've heard most of the tips here. The information is well presented and the graphics are nice, but it's really for people who are just starting their wellness journeys rather than those who are farther into it.

Being a major Health nerd, I was really excited to check out The Sculpt Plan! I’m a Holistic Nutrition school grad and even though I already know quite a bit about health & nutrition, I still love reading tips, ideas, and perspectives from other Health professionals. I didn’t think this was a bad book, but in my opinion some of the information is a little outdated. While the common “calories in vs calories burned” does work to a certain extent, there are so many other layers to this - hormones, lifestyle, etc. I’m also not a fan of the tradional BMI chart, as anyone building muscle will still fall into a mid to high bmi (this has happened to me at my most healthy and low body fat). I think it’s ok to use it as a guide for a beginner, but it definitely should not be a focus and I worry it could create unhealthy habits.

I did love the Meal Builder charts and also the food charts with swaps. A lot of the tips were helpful and the recipes looked pretty good, access to ingredients seemed pretty accessible, and the photographs were colorful and made the food look inviting.

Overall, I think this is a good book for someone just starting a healthy lifestyle, but it might not be unique enough for a seasoned health nut. Thank you so much to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with a copy in exchange for my honest review!

This book was fluffier than a marshmallow. I have no idea why this person felt a need to “educate” us. It read like a fluff article in a teen magazine

The Sculpt Plan is a book about diet, exercise with healthy recipes. The book is colourful and bright. The recipes are easy to read and have difficulty levels on them. Most look delicious as there is photos which I really enjoyed. It has a section on exercise and maintaining the weight you lose which was good.

It’s full of information to help you get those pounds off with an added bonus of lovely bright pages to read through. I received this book through Netgalley, but will be buying it when it’s published.

So i really enjoyed making a couple of these recipes.

Easy and affordable to make, especially as I am a full time student with not a lot of time.

4/5 stars

Thank you Netgalley for the arc

If someone is looking for one book that summarizes a total healthy lifestyle shift, this book would work. The tips suggested in this book aren't original or unique. However someone may be coming to this, may not know this or be overwhelmed with the many tips, this book would be helpful for that category of people. The graphics and info is great and beautifully presented.

YESSS I am so thankful I got this book. I work insane hours and was recently diagnosed with PCOS and this is exactly what I need. I love to have easy healthy plans that allow me to make time for myself while also staying mindful about what I am putting into my body. I have only had a chance to make about 3 different things but I have LOVED every single one. If you are looking to be more mindful about your nutrition heading into 2023, this is the plan for you!

Absolutely gorgeous book, that is really well designed. Unfortunately, that is where my good feelings about the book end.

It felt as though I was reading one of my mom's diet books from the 90s.

You start the program by joining one of three groups categorized by how much weight you have to lose. You can find how much weight you have to lose by a BMI chart. If you'd like to lose more weight, the higher category means you get an extra portion at mealtimes, but you have fewer choices from each category. Meals are separated by starch, protein, fat, fruit, and non-starchy veggies. If you have more than 20kg to lose, you don't get to eat granola, quinoa, grapes, cod, tuna, or protein powder on your plan. If you have more than 30kg to lose, you can add more portions of a food type for each 10kg.

The knowledge is mediocre, and there isn't anything that is common knowledge or easily googleable. A lot of it has been debunked. The advice and insights are SO generic it felt like it was written by an AI condensing all weight loss knowledge and tips into a book.

There are so many platitudes - "trust the process", and "you got this!" - and generic advice, such as
- replacing a bag of chips or a glass of wine with having a workout in the app
- replacing white rice with brown rice
- replacing full-fat dairy with low-fat or fat-free dairy
- replacing potato chips and dip with VEGGIE STICKS and dip
- booking your workout as an appointment in order to fit it in when "life gets wild"
- "bedtime isn't just for kids!"
- "be mindful" (without practical ways to do so)

The recipes are fine. I didn't try any, but they looked fine. They list the recipes for each group, though they do not tell you how many servings from each food type.

This book was just a long advert for the Sculpt membership. The photos of (I'm assuming) the author are SO photoshopped and her pores have been eradicated.

I spent time googling the company, and they sell "weight management supplements". Of course they do! Items such as a "Slimdown cleanse kit", "bedtime weight management", "Cheat day: calorie and carb blocker".

How and does this exist after 2000? The idea that a pill can help you lose weight is toxic and harmful.

Weight loss will work if you move more, and eat less + better. That sentence was more valuable than this book.

First I liked the design the colors and the pictures of this book.
I like it is full off recipes that I cannot wait to try like the strawberry banana chia smoothie bowl, the air fryer crispy chicken nuggets or buffalo roasted chickpea wraps. Recipes are simple and easy to follow, I like that some of them can be cooked using the airfryer and the cooking time is short.
I like the beginning with the advices for healthy leaving for working out and for setting for eating.
