I love Harlan. I’ve been reading his thrillers since I was in high school! This one was great- I would literally die if this happened to me so reading out it made me feel like I was in the midst of the crisis. My favorite thing about Harlan is his Easter eggs from past books into current books, and I love having my memories of past books brought forth again to see the connection. Love the ending for this book- worth reading for sure!!

This book was a RIDE from start to finish. My goodness. You’re definitely rooting for the MC from the very beginning. This is my first novel by this author but I’ll definitely read more!

Interesting and well written I just personally couldn’t get into the story. Difficult to follow at times and a little slow. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

WHAT A RIDE! Such a fun, exhilarating read from start to end. I loved the character development, but do find the ending a little odd considering SIL -> GF pipeline. Though that doesnt really matter, just weird to me. I also wish we saw more of the new husband. But if these are my complaints, it really goes to show how great this book was!

I can’t say that I’ve read all of Harlan Coben’s books, but I have read most of them. He’s one of the authors that I need to grab when he releases a new one. So needless to say, I was very grateful to Grand Central Publishing and Netgalley when I was approved for an ARC of I Will Find You in exchange of my honest opinion.

This had everything Harlan Coben is known for. Action, adventure, dramatic plots, and twists and turns. I love his characters and storylines.

David Burroughs is serving a life prison sentence for the murder of his 3 year old son. He’s given up on everything. He gave up the moment he was arrested bc his life meant nothing without his son. He knew people wouldn’t believe that he didn’t do it. In the 5 years that he has been imprisoned, he hasn’t had any visitors. At first he refused to see anyone, now they’ve just all given up. When suddenly, he gets a visit from his ex sister-in-law, Rachel. He tries to deny her a visit but the detention officer won’t let him. That brief visit and a photograph that Rachel shows him changes his entire life.

This book wasn’t for me. It was a bit slow and not sure why it had some of the plot items that were needed. This book could have been a lot shorter and concise.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy to honestly review.

This is my first book by Harlan Coben and it won't be my last. Told from different POV's, the characters were well developed. However, I feel like the ploy lead this story more than the characters, which I really enjoy. It was definitely a different type of mystery for me with a police officer POV but I really enjoyed this one.

3.5 stars!!!

This was my first Harlan Coben and I had a good time! I didn't go into this expecting anything but I enjoyed the book enough to read the whole thing in one day. I'm not normally a fan of mysteries that have a police officer point of view, but the cop in this was super shady and downright horrible so I enjoyed it? My biggest complaint is that it felt unrealistic how easily the main character was able to avoid cops and just get away with everything that he did. I did enjoy the writing enough to read some of this author's backlog, so I'm excited for that!

Solid thriller that kept you guessing. I haven’t read many by this author but have really enjoyed all of them.

Harlan Coben has been one of my favorites for over 20 years. I find his characters to be very relateable, just normal gals and guys to whom something horrible has happened, usually a missing relative who could be alive. As a bookseller, he is one of my “go to’s” to recommend, especially to people who don’t like gore and violence and cussing, but don’t want “cozy mysteries.”? They are edgy, but not too over-the-top. With that said, I loved this book, the characters were great as always, the mystery was intriguing and twisty. However, for people who have read a lot of his books, the missing relative trope gets a little overdone after a while. I would like to see a different theme from Coben, but if you havnt read him before, or often, this could be your new favorite mystery.

I Will Find You is an OTT thriller about a prison break, a case of mistaken identity, and a startling revelation.

David has been serving time for 5 years for the murder of his 3-year-old son, Matthew. A visit from his sister-in-law, Rachel, changes everything.

Narrated by David, an FBI special agent named Max, Rachel, and a few others, this novel is not about the characters. The plot revolves around David and Rachel, but the reader doesn’t know much about them. The chapters between Max and his partner Sarah were schticky and cartoonish. David and Rachel are likable enough, and I did care what happened to them.

This is a fast-paced, quick read, but the plot is out of control and over the top. One will have to suspend their disbelief to fully enjoy this novel. The revelation behind Matthew’s murder had me rolling my eyes.

The premise grabbed me, and the first half had me riveted. There are a lot of twists and turns, and I was never bored while reading this, but I couldn’t get past the lack of believability and a few plot holes.

To sum it up: Not my favorite Harlan Coben but still a decent thriller.

My first book from Coben was Run Away and I have read everything published by him since. I plan on reading his older books because I think this man is absolutely brilliant. He is an absolute auto-purchase for me. I ran to the store on pub day to get a physical copy because it is that good and I would definitely reread it.

Man wrongfully accused of murdering his child escapes from prison to find the real murderer. Lots of plot holes and you'll have to suspend disbelief quite a bit. However, still readable because Mr Coben is a gifted writer.

I like Harlen Coben as a true crime author, but for thrillers, not so much. It was decent at first, but just became more and more far fetched. I had a hard time concentrating on this one. I received a free copy from NetGalley for my honest review.

I am a huge Harlan Coben fan and I Will Find You doesn't disappoint. David Burroughs was once a devoted father to his three-year-old son Matthew, until one fateful night when David woke suddenly to discover Matthew had been murdered while David was asleep just down the hall.

Half a decade later, David’s been wrongly accused and convicted of the murder, is serving out his time in a maximum-security prison. Then Cheryl’s younger sister, Rachel, makes a surprise appearance during visiting hours bearing a strange photograph of a boy bearing a strong resemblance to David’s son. Matthew is still alive.

David plans a harrowing escape, determined to save his son, clear his own name, and discover the real story of what happened. Great story!

I Will Find You by Harlan Coben-only slightly believable narrative. I usually love Coben's books but this one just didn't work out for me. Almost gave up about half way through, but slogged on. A tough book to get into.

Mystery thriller that requires more suspension of disbelief than I could manage.

A man serving a life sentence in prison is confronted with a photograph that suggests that the son he was convicted of killing is still alive.

I haven't read Coben in some time despite really enjoying his first books. I picked this one to give the author another chance but ended up almost marking it DNF. The plot was riddled with so many holes and instances of ludicrousness that I was mostly shaking my head. I didn't care about the characters and the ending was so predictable -- it was only a matter of how far things would twist to get it done.

In the end, the book met my every expectation. The story line was unbelievable and not at all compelling. I'm sure many Coben fans will disagree with me and that's fine -- to each their own. I won't be trying another.

Thank you to NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for this e-book ARC to read and review. Pass.
