Harlan Coben does it again. I was immediately sucked in and I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to see Netflix pick this one up!

This book was pure fun to read! It hooked me right from the first chapter. I empathized with the 2 main characters, David and Rachel. I found them to be likeable and admirable. The FBI agents Max and Sarah were comedic relief from an otherwise serious book. I love all of Coben’s books, so I definitely recommend this one! Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

I Will Find You is a fast paced, action packed story which had me engaged from the beginning. David Burroughs, imprisoned for killing his young son, pursues the possibility of his son still being alive. Harlan Coben takes us in a roller coaster ride while David tries to prove that his son is alive thus also proving himself innocent. The story flowed smoothly through all this turmoil.

Anyone who reads Harlan Coben novels knows that they are an adrenaline rush. There may be a missing or murdered person. There may be a protagonist who goes to almost superhuman feats to achieve answers, but we the reader always hope secretly that we too would be able to rise to these superhuman heights, were someone we love in danger and in need of saving. And we may need to suspend belief to accept some aspects of the story. But we are willing to because, gosh, it's just such a fun journey.

I won't go into the plot other than to say that a father is in jail for murdering his son, and we know, of course, that he didn't do it, in spite of the half hearted story bread crumbs of his being in a "fugue state" and "sleepwalking". As they say in Australia, "yeah, no, yeah". That means no, not buying it.

Go into the novel without too much story info and just enjoy the ride, because it's a fun one with a few surprises thrown in at the end.

Five stars. Are the stars for high literature? No. But five stars for keeping me highly entertained.

Another good book from Harlan Coben. Good story, well written with good characters. A little implausible in parts (a warden breaks his godson out of prison), but not a deal breaker. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you Grand Central for the early copy to read and review! Out now!

I liked this story. It grabbed me right from the first page and didn't let go! This felt pretty fast-paced yet there is time spent to also develop the characters & their relationships. As other reviews have said -- get ready to completely suspend disbelief -- there are several parts I was thinking "but that wouldn't happen" however, it is a fictional story and fully entertaining. The readers know pretty early on a big part of the storyline that the characters don't know so a lot of the story is wondering how we are going to get to the truth. There are lots of high tension moments when David is trying to escape and stay clear of the police. Everything is wrapped up neatly by the end, it felt maybe a liiittle bit rushed at the end but a fast-paced story that kept me interested in what would happen.

Talk about a book that you aren't able to put down!!! I went into this book knowing nothing about it, but was sincerely captured by this story and found I could not put this down until I had finished it. Traditional cat and mouse style story, but with so much faced paced energy and just the right amount of desperation. Loved it!

3.5 stars. You do have to remember it's fiction and suspend disbelief a little as there are a lot of events that weren't realistic or happened by coincidence, but it was just such a fast-paced exciting read that it didn't bother me. I would have liked the ending to not feel quite as rushed.

The thing I like most about Harlan Coben is his mysteries start at page 1 and he just takes off from there. This one was about a father, jailed for killing his son, and learns that his son is likely alive and does what he can to find him.

1. It was very reminiscent of his earlier title Tell No One
2. It was very far fetched.
3. It was still very good.

Harlan Coben always gives you a page turner and while this was a bit far-fetched, it was very good.

Thank you to Netgalley and Grand Central Publishing for the E-ARC. Can Mr Coben do anything wrong no he cannot and this book was not the exception. I was ecstatic when I got approved for it and could not wait to read it. I devoured his book as I have many of his books. I was rooting for David the whole way thru and would have even aided and abetted him myself, because that's just the kind of things parents do for their children. I loved the characters and the whole concept. I love his standalones as well as his series and cant wait to read more.

Harlan Coben does it again. I Will Find You literally grabs you and pulls you in on the very first sentence! The characters in this book are both interesting, intriguing and all somewhat raw and exposed. Very fast paced and quick read. I finished in less than 24 hours. Could not put it down. Thank you for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Wow! I do believe that this was my favorite Harlan Coben book. It was incredibly fast-paced and I could not stop reading it. Dave is in jail for the murder of his son and though he knows he is innocent, he is still content to remain there (as opposed to fighting for his innocence) as a penance for not protecting his son more. Then his former sister-in-law brings him a picture that changes everything and makes him think his son might actually be alive. After that, the book was a nonstop thrill ride that involved corrupt prison guards, mobsters, a prison escape and twist upon twist. Such a great read!

This was an intense, edge of your seat thriller. A quick action-packed mix of adventure and suspense. Thank you Netgalley, the author and publisher for allowing me to review.

David Burroughs is serving a life sentence for a crime he says he didn’t commit – the heinous murder of his three-year-old son, Matthew. Five years after his conviction he receives his first visitor his Maine prison. His former sister-in-law, Rachel, shows him a photo that seems to indicate that Matthew is alive. Now, David is determined to find him but first, he has to break out of jail.

I Will Find You is a rollercoaster ride of a book and it doesn’t slow down a bit. Is the plot a bit farfetched? Yes. But, putting that aside, the plot is well-conceived, with all the loose ends tied up. The characters are well-described and varied and the dialogue is entertaining and well-done. All of these elements more than make up for the somewhat implausible plot. I Will Find You is a fast and entertaining read and I enjoyed it. It’s easy to understand why Mr Coben is a popular author.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing a copy of this book for review.

This story is told in first person by David, a father five years into serving a life sentence for the brutal murder of his son with a few other perspectives interspersed. Once David’s former sister-in-law visits him in prison with a photo of what she thinks is his son, still alive, this book shoots off on a fast-paced, whirlwind adventure that I couldn’t put down. David is busy trying to stay one step ahead of the authorities after breaking out of prison while chasing down clues to what really happened the night everyone believes that he killed his 3 year old son, Matthew.

Thank you to Netgalley and Grand Central Publishing for a copy provided for an honest review.

Harlan Coben writes so wonderfully you feel the story unfold, this latest book reads very quickly. His storytelling is stellar from the beginning. Some of the story unbelievable, but you will be so immersed in the story that you will read til the end. Recommend.

4.25 stars
Harlan Coben’s I Will Find You is a thoroughly entertaining and engaging thriller about a father accused of killing his own son. The premise sounds highly unappealing and there are a few elements that are unpleasant, to say the least, but on the whole the story is not only palatable, but also gripping.

When David Burroughs, sentenced to life in prison, is presented with evidence that his son is indeed still alive, he starts on a course, with no turning back, to find his son. He’s not so concerned with proving his innocence, but is fixated on finding his son, despite the probable consequences. This story is a slow and steady build as we unravel this mystery piece by piece. One seemingly small incident sets a domino effect in motion, and we follow these tension-building actions and reactions as the plot unfolds. This story culminates in a somewhat unrealistic set of events, but a highly satisfying conclusion.

I Will Find You is entertaining, compelling and a quick and easy read. This is a suspenseful, captivating thriller that will not disappoint.

It was good, but I'm still not crazy about this author's writing. The plot was okay, definitely interesting enough to finish. Fans should be happy, though.

I'm a huge Harlan Coben fan and he doesn't disappoint with his latest book. He's always able to suck me into the story from the beginning and I want to shut out the world to find out what happened. I have to admit that some parts were a bit unbelievable, but I was so immersed in the story that I was enjoying it for the wild ride that it is!

This was the most un-Harlan Coben book by Harlan Coben I think I have read, which isn’t a bad thing. I like it when an author can take me by surprise by completely changing up their vibe and giving me something that feels unique to them, yet remains in their wheelhouse.

When I initially read the synopsis, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to pick this book up until a later date. The premise is based on a father murdering his young son, and I just gave birth to a little boy less than a year ago. After a trusted friend went in first and assured me after the first few chapters, the heaviness of that aspect in the plot is moved to the back burner, I decided to give it a go. I’m glad I did, as this was a thriller that moved with breakneck speed and was wholly entertaining in every sense of the word.

I usually like to take time to expound on the characters and sense of place in Coben’s novels, but this one is a bit different, and I think the less I say about the entire thing the better. In fact, if you can go in blind, I highly recommend doing so. Keep in mind that you will need to suspend your sense of disbelief in every way possible, but the ending flourishes in a grand spectacle that lovers of fictional conspiracy theories come to fruition will devour. If you love a good OTT ending like I do, you need to pick this one up immediately.
