David Burroughs has spent the last 5 years in a maximum security prison, serving a life sentence for the murder of his then 3 year old son, Matthew. Out of the blue, his ex-sister in law, Rachel, pays him a visit with information that changes everything. Rachel’s friend had been on vacation and while looking through their family photos, Rachel finds a boy that looks just like her murdered nephew. He is alive and David will not sit in prison serving time while his son is with another family. David will stop at nothing to clear his name and find out what happened.
This book was so fast paced and action packed that I didn’t have time to breathe! I have been a Harlan Coben fan for at least the last 20 years and he never disappoints. Every March I read whatever he has out, doesn’t matter what it is about and I was so excited to receive and arc of I Will Find You. This is probably his best standalone book in the last decade. Thank you NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for an ARC in return for an honest review.

Another fantastic read from Harlan Coben. I was hooked from the start. David was convicted of killing his son but finds out he may be alive. Thrilling from the prison break to the race to find his son and clear his name. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good thriller.

Always excited for the latest Harlan Coben. This one is a intriguing mystery about a man who is in prison for killing his son...who does a prison break when he finds he's still alive! Definite thriller as he evades the police (and other unsavory characters). Nice family backstory woven in as well.

I'm honored to have received an advanced e-copy of this book. Harlan Coben is hands down the best and most consistent thriller writer there is. You can't change my mind.

He wastes no time getting into the story and starts weaving all of the backstory together instantly. I was hooked from page one.

I felt like David and Rachael were quite bold and a very interesting combination. They fit well and the story continually intertwined them together- so the ending was a surprise but not really.

Their adventure to find Matthew was nothing short of thrilling to be a part of. All of the connections proves it really is such a small world.

I loved this book and I know you will too!

As usual, Coben does not disappoint. I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning reading this dramatic, unpredictable, fast-paced thriller. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.

David is serving a life sentence for murdering his young son. He has accepted his fate and is a model prisoner until his ex-sister-in-law pays him a visit with a photograph showing his son, alive, holding another man’s hand, enjoying a day at the amusement park. There is nothing that will stop David from finding his son. Nothing.

This story is addicting, it’s witty and it’s action-packed. I highly recommend it. A definite 5-star read.

Thank you, NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for the advanced copy.

Harlan Coben’s latest novel, I Will Find You is a very engaging story about family dynamics, friendship and loyalty. The plot revolves around a man incarcerated for the murder of his 3 year old son and, without giving away any of the twists and surprises in the book, his attempt to find out if his son is still alive and, if so, his whereabouts.

The book is well written and takes the reader from Maine to New Jersey, Connecticut and New York and is filled with many likable and interesting characters. I particularly enjoyed the repartee between the 2 FBI agents.

I strongly recommend this novel to fans of this genre who don’t mind staying up through the night to find out what will happen — I read the book in less than 24 hours.

I thank NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this future best seller prior to publication.

Oh my! My eyes hurt and my heart is in my mouth. I'm still hyperventilating as if I just ran a 10K marathon. This book is extremely action-packed and absolutely heart-pounding. It's definitely one of the best books Harlan Coben has created. The story has similarities with my favorite Korean series, "Defendant," and the famous TV show and Harrison Ford movie, "The Fugitive." It hooks you from the beginning, capturing your heart, soul, and mind all at once. You can't stop reading. The pressure increases with each chapter, and you find yourself cheering for David and screaming "Run! Run! Run!"

The pacing is riveting, with Coben's typical sarcastic and entertaining tone, and great characterization. It's pure addiction! The jaw-dropping twists and satisfying conclusion make for one of the best reading experiences.

David Burroughs is a convicted criminal serving a life sentence in a maximum security prison for killing his three-year-old son Matthew. However, everyone in his close circle knows him as a devoted father and a good man. He has temper issues like others, and he's dealt with night terrors that have affected his mental health in the past, but that doesn't mean he committed the crime. He's innocent, despite his old neighbor Hilde's testimony that she saw him burying the murder weapon.

For five years, he's been serving time for a crime he didn't commit. But everything changes with a visit from his sister-in-law Rachel, a former journalist, who shows him a photo that proves his son Matthew is still alive.

As soon as David sees the photo, he starts planning his escape from prison to find his son. With his life on the line and the FBI breathing down his neck, David begins a life-or-death race against time. Can one man alone find his son and prove his innocence against dangerous people? What if the truth behind the mystery is even more shocking and unbelievable than he imagined?

I have to admit, the FBI officers' Lucy and Desi-like dialogue during the interrogation was irritating at first. They earned ten thousand points for punching. Fortunately, Max is a more tolerable and smarter agent whom I learned to sympathize with.

Overall, I've been reading Coben's books for 20 years, and as long as I live and he writes, I plan to read and be thrilled in the future. I even named my dog "Articulate."

Special thanks to Grand Central Publishing for sharing this amazing digital reviewer copy with me in exchange for my honest thoughts.

David Burroughs is in prison for the murder of his three year old son that was killed five years ago. His ex sister-in-law Rachel has found evidence that his son may still be alive. David escapes prison and searches for the truth of what happened that night. This story has many twists and was very suspenseful. I couldn’t hardly put it down. Thanks NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for this ARC that will be released March 14, 2023.

This book was written by one of my favorite authors. A book of intrigue, it was difficult to put down…a real page turner. The characters come alive on the pages. Red herrings abound. Secrets. What will happen next? The protagonist is in prison for killing his child, but did he? His wife has moved on. His sister in law helps him discover what really happened. This book would make a fantastic movie. This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher and the author. I was excited to get to read another Coben book.

Harlan C books are always a blast to read, with his clever plotting and fast pace. No exception here. The prison escape read a little false, but the trickery with the sperm bank and switcheroo made it all worth it. Another great escape, and another bestseller on the horizon. Looking forward to the next one!

Harlan Coben does it again. To be honest, I was disappointed when I realized Win was not going to be in this book, but I still really enjoyed it. The book was fast-paced and kept you guessing. It was a fun, quick read.

I was thrilled to get an advanced read copy of this book because Harlan Coben is one of my go to authors. His books manage to snag you in right away and you get hooked and just want to read straight through until the end. Once I got this I cleared the day and got comfy and read the whole thing in one sitting.

Your heart goes out to David who goes to prison for killing his three year old son-Matthew. He didn't do it and he doesn't fight for his innocence and goes to prison. He feels guilty for not keeping his son safe and feels this is his punishment to bare.

After five years in prison he finally gets a visitor. Rachel his sister in law and she shows him a picture that she believes is Matthew and that he is still alive. This is all David needs to see to renew his spirit and cause him to want to get out of prison and find his son.

Next comes a prison break and a hunt to find Mathew. He must dig into the trial and discover the truth. They track one clue at a time until they solve the mystery of who has Matthew.

The funniest part of the book was the dialog between Special Agent Max Bernstein and Sarah Jablonski. They worked well playing good cop/bad cop and switching up interviewing people with witty banter and sarcasm.

Thank you NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for the copy on I Will Find You. Harlan Coben is a master storyteller and I love his standalone books, so this one was right up my alley and I wasn’t disappointed. Coben does a great job with characters because even the minor ones are distinct and interesting. The only thing I don’t enjoy is how many of them are sarcastic or have snappy retorts. There are always too many sarcastic characters in his books, but having smarts$$ banter between the investigators didn’t seem appropriate. I learned to skip over this type of dialogue early on so I could still enjoy the story. The book also seemed to be written more for the TV, but maybe that’s a result of having successful screen adaptations.
The story is pretty far-fetched but I was willing to suspend my belief because there was so much action and the premise was so intriguing soI wanted to see how everything ended. Coben is the king of twisty endings and I always wait for that final, killer twist and he never fails to surprise me. If you're a Coben fan you will love this one, and if you're new to his books you will be pleasantly surprised at how good it is.

A man is in prison for killing his three year old son. He claims he is innocent but is resigned to life in prison because he feels responsible - he was the boy’s father and couldn’t protect him. After five years, his ex-sister-in-law visits him and shows him a picture, she wants the man to look at the boy in the background - could it be true, could the boy still be alive? This was an excellent book with a lot of suspense. The story moves along at a good pace and I couldn’t wait to see how it would end. As a huge fan of Harlan Coben, I’ve come to expect great characters and stories that hold your attention from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book.

Thank you so much NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for an advance read in exchange for this review.

David has been serving 5 years of a life sentence for the murder of his 3 year old son, Matthew. The problem is that he did not kill Matthew. His former sister in law, Rachel, visits him in prison and shows him a photo of a recent Six Flags outing. In the background is Matthew. He is alive.

Who took him? Who is the boy that was found dead in Matthew's bed?

To solve all of this, David must get out of prison. He'll have the FBI searching for him, but he knows he has to in order to find his son.

This was an incredible read. There are so many twists to the story that kept me on the edge of my seat. I really liked David, and Coben wrote him as such a likable character. The background around the kidnapping and trial are so complex that I was hooked immediately. I kept reading too. The suspense kept building and I was not let down. I also appreciated that Coben created a character with so much depth. He gave us a lot of background which made him feel multidimensional.

David Burroughs was living his best life in the suburbs with his wife, Cheryl, and his three year old son, Matthew. Everything comes crashing down when David woke up to discover that Matthew had been murdered which he was asleep down the hall. 5 years later, David was wrongly convicted of killing his son and serving time in maximum security when he makes a shocking discovery. Someone brings him a recent photo from a theme park in which you can see a boy that looks exactly like his son Matthew in the background. How can this be?

Another great book from Harlan Coben! Every book I have read by this author has been outstanding and I WILL FIND YOU is no exception. Such an incredibly twisty story that I had to unravel as soon as possible! I would definitely call it a quick and easy read that I thoroughly enjoyed. I can highly recommend I WILL FIND YOU to all mystery/thriller fans! You will love it!
