A brilliant storybook for kids to enjoy at Christmas either being read to or reading for themselves.

Lovely illustrations and a cute story which was well thought out and we all enjoyed.

Christmas Stories for Kids by Angela Zigann - 5/5

The season of Christmas is upon us, and this was a great addition to bedtime routine. With a cute collection of stories for children this made bedtime easier because they were beyond excited to hear the next one. The illustrations are cute and simple enough to not be overbearing for this age group. Each story was cute and engaging, brought the joy of Christmas alive in our house.

This book is a celebration of Christmas. It houses a delightful collection of short Christmas stories that are perfect to share during this holiday season.

Kids are invited to join in the adventures of Teddy the little Christmas tree, Jerry the giraffe, four gnomes, and Bill the bird as they experience the magic and wonderment of Christmas.

The kid-friendly illustrations enrich the text and the length of each story encourages beginning readers to enjoy the stories solo. This book would be a wonderful stocking stuffer and is great to share at bedtime, or anytime. It is spot on for the targeted age-group... ages 3-6. It's a lovely introduction to chapter books for young readers. I highly recommend "Christmas Stories for Kids".

Thank you NetGalley and Go Crazy Happy Books for a copy of "Christmas Stories for Kids" in exchange for my honest review.

This book is perfect for the 3 to 6 age group. It has simple illustrations that appeal to young children. Teddy the seedling grows up through the year into a tree. On his first Christmas the children decorate him and he is happy. Jerry the giraffe is seeing his first winter and his first snowfall. He plays in the snow with his friends and they teach him about Christmas. He doesn't want to wait, he goes up to the attic at home and pulls out all the lights to decorate the house and their tree. The Four Little Gnomes are adorable and they have cute donuts. They just like to bake donuts and drink tea. Bill the bird panics when he thinks that he has slept through Christmas and he goes around waking his friends who tell him that it is the middle of the night and they want to sleep. Since they are up so early for Christmas Day they have a very long day and they are very tired when they go to bed that night.

A slender thing with four short works for short children, perhaps, mostly concentrating on the eagerness animals have for celebrating Christmas early, and the wonder a young tree has to become the centrepiece of the decorations. It's fine as far as it goes, but won't last in the memory long.

A sweet little book for young children about Christmas, sure to help little ones have sweet dreams filled with candy, toys and new book character friends illustrated with soothing pictures. A Grandma book that caretakers will enjoy reading to to the designated age group many times.

This is a book of sweet, original Christmas stories for the youngest children to read with an adult. The illustrations are just lovely and perfectly go with the stories. Read about a young giraffe who couldn’t wait for Christmas or a story about Bill the Bird’s long day t9 name two. All in all, this is a cute title.

This book contains several short and cute Christmasy stories for kids. The stories themselves are cute and best suited for 4-5 year olds. Each story has beautiful illustrations, however the word-to-picture ratio is really high so the book overall really is geared for children who have a longer attention span. My almost 3 year old son lost interest pretty quickly when each page had way more words than pictures.

Thanks to NetGalley for the digital copy in exchange for an honest review!

This is a collection of three short stories and a poem that captures the excitement of Christmas. The illustrations are simple but attractive and the stories are of a length suitable for the age group this is aimed at (3 - 6 years). Whilst I didn’t find the stories particularly engaging, they were good at explaining what Christmas traditions are typically seen. So a young child for whom Christmas is something new would know what to expect. Though I have never really associated doughnuts with Christmas but maybe that is a cultural difference between the UK and the USA? I particularly enjoyed the giraffe story and thought it captured a child’s excitement about Christmas very well.

Overall, I enjoyed this book and I think kids would enjoy this book. This is a short collection of Christmas stories. I received a digital copy of the book, and there were some capitalization issues that stood out to me, but a kid wouldn't notice. I liked the story about the gnomes the best, but the illustrations were good, and the characters seemed very fun for kids. Overall, I did like this book, but it is not the best children's fiction I have read recently. Thank you to NetGalley and the author for providing me a digital copy of this book just in time for the holidays!

A cute bunch of stories about Christmas for kids! Each story features a different character, a tree growing from a seed, a giraffe, gnomes and more. Sweet stories as well as adorable illustrations. I especially liked the Gnomes!
