This is the 9th book in this series, I recommend reading it from the beginning because there is a lot of character development from book 1 to now. The mystery was intriguing as always and the characters are entertaining.

Oh my word! The twists for Addie.. The mystery kept me guessing and the characters are great.

Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for my eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is the ninth book in this cozy mystery series and this series is one of my favorites. I thought this book started with a bang and really kept me glued to the pages throughout the story. More than any other book in this series this one is hard to write about without doing spoilers. I will say this book more than most really should be read in order. There is quite a lot of interpersonal stuff happening in this story. I think one of my favorite parts about this one is that Addie is busy with her own life drama and a family mystery she discovers so she actually doesn’t try to investigate a murder, but her friend the cop Marc asks for her opinion on some photos and videos and of course she ends up stumbling on the answer in the end. Usually Marc is yelling at her to stay away. I liked that this book was not just about the mystery but about Addie figuring out who she is and who she wants to be.

Great addition to the series!

The mystery was compelling and provided some intriguing information about Addie's family history. Moving forward, Addie has to make some serious decisions about her life as a result of the events of this novel. I look forward to reading the next novel in the series.

An added bonus is that The Velveteen Rabbit (one of my favorite children's books) features prominently in this story.

Wow, the author certainly dumps everything on Addie in this book, including the kitchen sink. You can't help but feel sorry for her with her life in such an upheaval. The addition of not one but two murders, one happening 70 years ago was a new twist, and the older one especially was pretty interesting since it concerned Addie's family. There is much confusion about the characters feelings in this book, and I am looking forward to the next to see how it is resolved. Thank you, Kensington Publishing and NetGalley for the chance to read this book.

It's wedding day for Addie Greyborne and Dr. Simon Emerson. But a shocking revelation puts the wedding on hold and Addie ponders her future. While stuck at home, Addie clears out her attic and finds a rare collection of classic children’s books, a 1950s wedding dress & a set of journals written by her great aunt. Addie becomes obsessed with solving a cold case & a present day murder to keep herself occupied. A new direction in Addie's life ends this well-written story.

I received a digital ARC from Netgalley and Kensington Books. All opinions are my own.

Dedication to Murder is the next installment in the Beyond the page book series.
Hang on, because this edition is a roller coaster ride. The book starts with Abbey getting ready on her wedding day and finally looking forward to having her happily ever after. A series of events take our characters through many different scenarios. When Abbey discovers a 70-year-old mystery involving her aunt she is drawn into two mysteries divided by time. Poor Abbey experiences almost every emotion possible as the never-ending ups and downs pummel her life. She will turn to old friends for support and welcome a new member to the team at her secondhand bookstore.

Thank you to Net Galley and Kensington Cozies for sending me an ARC copy for review.

If you read one book this year, make it DEDICATION TO MURDER! The Beyond the Page Bookstore Mysteries are the absolute epitome of the perfect cozy mystery! Village-feel with Greybourne Harbour, delightful friends that you want to visit again, and a first class whodunnit.

I've been reading this series from the very first book, and every year I'm so excited to read another instalment. Having said that, this one is the very best [so far]!

Addie is finally getting her happy ever after, with a wedding to dreamy Doctor Simon! However, not all goes to plan on her wedding day! With her world upside down, Addie must put all the clues together and solve not one, but two murders.

I love, love, loved this whodunnit! The way the ending is achieved is just amazing!!! If you've read all the prior books in this series [and if you haven't what are you doing with your life?] then you are really going to love this one!!

It's hard to review this one without spoilers, so I will leave it with.... this is a fantastic read, and not one to miss! I raved about STEEPED IN SECRETS [the author's new series] and this book is even better! I absolutely can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!

Three books for the price of one!

I am so delighted by this latest (9th.) chapter in the Beyond the Page Bookstore Mysteries by Lauren Elliott.

I have been reading all her books and think she gets better and better the more she writes. This new adventure is very robust in that you get 3 books in one: Two mysteries plus a romance novel.

The two mysteries are intriguing, and both were most interesting and different, as they happen at different times. I just had so much fun reading every page, and laughing at every situation. The twists and turns of the romance novel are most realistic, and though I generally don’t like to read romances, since our protagonist is the main character, it was OK.

If you like cozy mysteries, preorder this book. You won’t be disappointed, and the book will grab your interest right away and take you on curvy roads down to the finish, when all will be revealed in detail.

Thank you, Kensington, for allowing me to read an ARC version of this book via NetGalley, but a huge thanks to author Lauren Elliott for awarding me a paperback ARC copy during an online mystery solving contest. This is a keeper

Addie and Simon's wedding is all she hoped for, until it wasn't. When the wedding is interrupted, everything changes. Now Addie focuses on her own mystery, a wedding dress in a hidden room in her attic. The history Addie goes through helps to solve a current mystery as well. A great read that I could not put down! Loved the characters and the struggles they face in this story. I can't wait to see what lies ahead for Addie and her friends.

The romantic entanglements of Addie Greybourne have always been my least favorite part of this series, so knowing this book would kick off with her wedding to Simon might have been a bad sign. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised by the two mysteries that Addie gets drawn into. Addie's aunt's house has many secrets hidden in its walls, and another is revealed when she begins sorting through the attic. And then Marc actually requests her help in unraveling a poisoning death in town. While her life may be in turmoil, she has enough on her plate to distract her from her troubles.

Thanks to Kensington for access to a digital ARC on Netgalley.com.

What a great story! This book had it all - romance, cancelled weddings, two murders 70 years apart, and lots of family secrets. I could not put it down.
Anita was so excited the morning of her wedding to Simon. Getting ready and walking down the aisle to meet him, she thought her happily, ever after was here at last. Little did she know that her life would definitely change that day, just not the way she had planned. Lots of twists and turns, great characters, and a plot that got better and better as the story developed. A must read.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Dedication to Murder by Lauren Elliott is book #9 in the Beyond the Page Bookstore series. What a shocking opening chapter. Wow! Just wow! Talk about a storyline chock full of surprises... I loved this book. The mysteries that needed to be solved kept me turning the pages. Getting to reacquaint myself with old friends from the earlier books in the series was fun. I really like Addie Greybourne and the characters in this book. Unfortunately one character I really liked before has disappointed me. There's lots going on in this book and I am sure fans of this series will really like this addition to the series.

Addie Greyborne should really know better! When has anything important in her life been simple and trauma free? She has planned her dream wedding right down to the smallest detail but is still confused about the secrets her late great-aunt Anita has hidden all around the house she inherited when the old lady passed away. She's sure there are still mysteries to solve if she can only decipher the clues once she's discovered their original hiding places that is!

The eighth in Lauren Elliott's Beyond the Page Mystery Series is an emotional roller coaster from the start and although some of the secrets were clearer to the reader than to Addie, others were revealed in surprising ways with far reaching results. There wasn't really a main and back story as they were as important as each other, engaged me from the start, and definitely aren't done with yet!

I was able to read an advanced copy of this thanks to NetGalley and the publishers, but the opinions expressed are my own. A thoroughly enjoyable series, which this is a great addition to. Recommended.

I absolutely adored this next installment in the Beyond the Page Bookstore series. And what a dramatic start to the story!

After a series of events puts her wedding on hold, Addie uncovers a family mystery and begins to investigate. What she doesn’t realize is how things will come full circle.

Addie is charming and so relatable. I really enjoyed that she was practical but true to herself and her feelings. The way the story was woven together between past and present was fantastic and made for quite the page turner.

I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Thank you to #NetGalley and #KensingtonBooks for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

They say it's good if a book evokes emotions and I can happily say this one does. As a fan of this series, I was excited to read an advance copy courtesy of NetGalley and Kensington - thank you by the way!

The cover is lovely and I had certain expectations starting out. Well let me tell you, I was not happy with this author for quite awhile. No spoilers but I was saying "what are you doing to Addie?"???? I am happy to say by the end my feelings were resolved so readers, I'm sure yours will be, too.

This story involves a triple mystery. One is a murder that has Marc at a loss. He goes to Addie for help as she is one of the only people not there and is not a suspect. So we have that plus Addie comes up with two mysteries at home related to her family.

The home mysteries were the best part for me as they slowly unravel. One of them leaves Addie and the reader gasping oh my stars!!! What next?! And of course there is a next.

The ending gave tears and hope. I was not expecting an emotional read so it took me by surprise but I have to say it was a great journey and this is my favorite one yet. I cannot wait to see what's next!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC!
I didn't find out until after reading this whole book that this one is the 9th in a series, which makes a lottt more sense looking back. It didn't really affect my understanding of the book though, because all the information they needed you to know they told you, which was good.
As for the characters, well. I liked Paige and Serena, and Addie was ok (albeit a little annoying), and Simon/Laurel suck and I hate them :). I have to say that Addie dodged a bullet, because if Laurel and Mason being in town was all it took to basically make him cheat on her, it's better to end the relationship sooner rather than later. Anyways, I also liked everyone at the nursing home, and I think it was funny to see the women still gossiping, etc about things that happened like 20 years before.
My biggest critique is that this just doesn't really flow well. The writing is just not amazing. The whole book was just sort of "she said this, then this happened, next this happened". It makes for kind of a boring book, and there were a lot of things that just felt out of place to say, like someone had just added them as an afterthought sprinkled throughout the book.

Dedication to Murder, the ninth book in Beyond the Bookstore Mysteries by Lauren Elliott, truly has caused me such heartfelt angst. As the series progressed, Addie’s indomitable spirit, her fortitude in the face of life’s challenges, not to mention her strong sense of justice, created quite an emotional bond that has grown exponentially throughout the series. Such a strong, relatable, and believable female character demonstrates what a tremendous gift Ms. Elliott has…a fictional character has rarely touches me so deeply.

As Addie peels back the layers and unlocks the pieces of a very personal and long-ago puzzle, the reader is taken on a riveting ride with unforeseen twists and turns leading to a unique and unexpected ending.

Though the series has taken an unexpected turn and nearly broken my heart, it is still one that I am looking forward to seeing what the author has in store for the future for Addie and the rest of the residents of Greyborne Harbor.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. My honest review is being submitted voluntarily

Addie is the owner of a bookstore Beyond the Page she is getting married to Simon the doctor. As they are about to say "I do." Some one runs in and stops the wedding. Turns out Simon is still married to Laurel. The lawyer never submitted the annulment paperwork. Also it turns out they have a son. Addie is upset and goes home. Later at a tea party where everyone meets the son Mason. Laurels Aunt Valerie dies from a presumed heart attack. Laurel is sad and needs Simon. Addie decides to clean the attic and happens upon a secret room with a wedding dress inside. Addie decides to uncover the mystery of the wedding dress.

This mystery was so good. I could not put it down. While I was a tad confused at the many characters. I really enjoyed the solving of the cold case. I'm totally #teamaddie , Simon is a nitwit.
