What a great addition to the series! Our friend Narwhal is obsessed with costumes and Halloween and it's Jelly's turn to lead the adventure. He discovers which costume will help him brave the Monster. Just a sense of tension that ends in delight for readers who may identify more with Jelly than Narwhal.

Narwhal and Jelly are back, and Narwhal has all sorts of plans for Halloween, or, I really should say Narwhalloween. Narwhal unfortunately can't decide on what costume to wear, and Jelly's afraid and just wants to hide till everything is over.

The story, like all the others before it, is full of silliness and kindness, as when something is scaring everyone, the friends all get together to help and solve the situation. It's sweet, fun and funny.

What's not to love about this next book in the Narwhal and Jelly series?! This is not going to stay long on my library shelves.

My daughter loves the Narwhal and Jelly series, so we were very excited to get a sneak peek at the Halloween book! A Super Scary Narwhalloween is only a little scary and a lot of cute and funny. Narwhal and Jelly are trying to figure out their Halloween costumes and facing the (incredibly relatable) indecision that comes with it. With a little misunderstanding, some bravery, and help from their friends, this book has a delightful ending.

This series is great for beginning readers, but it's a lot of fun for experienced readers and adults, too. The illustrations are fantastic, the puns are clever, the situations are relatable, and it's all very wholesome and sweet. Adults may giggle even more than the kids with this one, and the glow in the dark cover will make this especially cool and gift-able. Highly recommend.

This is super cute. I always love the Narhwal and Jelly books. I loved that Jelly decided to act like Narwhal and rescue him from the sea monster. The illustrations in this one are excellent, I especially enjoyed all of the different costumes Narwhal tried on.

Ben Clanton has done it again. Another brilliantly written, entertaining and appealing book to all ages. Adults will laugh as much as the children. The rare addition of a Glow in the Dark cover makes this book special! Highly recommended at Hallowe'en time. The Story of Friendship is strong in addition to being brave.

This book was deliciously funny and full of puns every child will love. The characters are silly and loveable with problems children can relate to. The drawings are fantastic and adorable and the wording is easy flowing and fun. A definite must have for every child who loves silly graphic novels.

I loved this! The art is so cute and I loved seeing all the costumes. Narwhal and Jelly are always funny and full of heart. This gives a spooky vibe that shouldn't be too scary for younger ones.

Another Narwhal and Jelly book that did not disappoint! I love that it's not just a simplistic or cheesy Halloween tale but instead talks about real and challenging parts of Halloween -- not knowing what to wear, feeling frightened, being brave with your friends, etc. I will definitely be buying this one for my son for Halloween! He's already requested to read it several times. Highly recommend!

My daughter is 8 and loves Narwhal and Jelly books! We both thoroughly enjoy them and they are super funny. I was happy to see one available on Netgalley as we hadn't read this title yet. You can't go wrong with Narwahl and Jelly. .

What can't this immensely popular series do?
As we see Narwhal and Jelly graduate to their eight book; putting them solidly in the 'series with staying power' category. Kids love the comfort that comes from characters they know and from a story set-up that is consistent. In fact, many anxious adults benefit greatly from this too (myself included!).
Here we have Narwhal and Jelly taking on my absolute favourite holiday! Halloween! Between learning about bats, switching costumes, being super heroes and needing syrup for waffles you can be assured this Narwhal and Jelly Book from Ben Clanton is just as good as it's predecessor. Plus the print copy comes with a GLOW IN THE DARK cover!!! I mean what kid doesn't want to know their trusty favourite story is right next to them in the dark. Brilliant really!
Grab this one for a kids party, random gift, or to give to someone special. It will work in any and all situations (so long as the parents doesn't shun Hallowe'en for some reason... and if they do why on earth are you engaging with them?! I mean who doesn't love dressing up and eating candy?!)

The glow in the dark cover is truly what caught my attention, but I adore this book from beginning to end. Narwhale and Jelly are together again to celebrate my favorite holiday, Halloween. This is an easy read for my littles, and we loved the humor and fun approach. Great read for any time of year.

Narwhal can't decide amongst all sorts of scary costumes; Jelly doesn't like the scary stuff and is thinking about skipping the holiday. Then, a "monster" gets Narwhal and Jelly becomes his superhero alter ego and recruits the pod to save Narwhal. Readers will appreciate the humor as the figure out the puns and other word play. Terrific story for October reading time.

I read this book with my daughter and loved it! It was a very fun read! The illustrations were adorable! It is set up like a comic but the words are simple and easy for early readers (other than the created ones like Narwhalloween). I loved especially how much my daughter loved it! I plan on getting her the whole series to read!

I am a huge fan of the Narwhal and Jelly duo! This is such a fun story of the two friends experiencing Halloween with their Pod. This story focuses on emotions and feelings, when Jelly gets scared and can't find Narwhal. This is a very cute story for children that parents will also enjoy.

Okay, I just loved this book. It made me laugh out loud, repeatedly. I might just have to read more of Narwhal and Jelly's adventures. The way the illustrations capture the characters is perfect and I loved seeing them. I would love to have this book for my collection. It is a perfect any day book, not just for Halloween!
