The Narwhale and Jelly books are always a hit in my classroom. This Halloween Themed one will for sure be another hit that my students fight about to read first.

I love Narwhal and Jelly and this glow in the dark book was a perfect addition to the series! I'm excited for more from Clanton.

Narwhal is super excited for Halloween, and dressing up; but Jelly, isn't so sure because there are so many scary things about Halloween. Can Narwhal find the perfect costume? Will Jelly be able to conquer his fears and save the day?

I love the Narwhal and Jelly series! They are super fun, easy graphic novels for early chapter book readers; plus, they always have such good messages. And A Super Scary Narwhalloween is no different as it tackles things like fear and bravery.

I cannot wait to be able to start talking about this book, and sharing it with all of the kids and their grown-ups!

Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin Random House Canada, Tundra Books for the ARC!

Another great addition to the Narwhal and Jelly series. I love all of the puns that Ben Clanton works into the Narwhal and Jelly books, for example "It's snow good", love it, the punnier the better. This particular book is even more fun because it takes place at Narwhalloween, which is my favorite holiday.

Happy Narwhalloween everyone!

Hooray for new tales of Narwhal and Jelly! My K-5 students love Clanton's stories about this super duo. They also love Halloween books, so this story is perfect for the upcoming spooky season. The illustrations are fun (I especially loved the costumes Narwhal came up with), and as always, the puns are totally on point. Fun story with a little mystery and a lot of laughs. Thumbs up from this elementary school librarian!

Thanks to Penguin Random House Canada, Tundra Books for the opportunity to read and enjoy this ARC.

Such a cute story! It’s a short read but I really enjoyed the humor. Themes: overcoming fears, friendship, and bravery.

Narwhal and Jelly’s adventures return, and while I thought I had gotten over the series, there’s something infectious in the optimism and glee of Jelly! We open with a consideration of costumes for Halloween (candy corn, banana! a mustached moose, and more!) All paired and balanced with jelly’s skepticism (that face!) At one point the other animals think a sea monster has eaten Narwhal, which causes Jelly to take on a What Would Narwhal Do spread that had me laughing. It’s wonderful to be uplifted by this group again, and praise to Clanton for sustaining the joy!

Ben Clanton does it again! Narwhal and Jelly are back for more laughs in this Halloween-themed addition to the Narwhal and Jelly collection. These graphic novels have my 6, 6 & 9 year olds laughing every time, but I think I laugh most of all. Clanton will always be a must-buy author for our library.

An adorable Narwhal and Jelly book full of friendship, fun, facts, and more. My 6-year-old was so excited to read this book with me, and we were both delighted by Narwhal's hunt for the perfect Halloween costume, Jelly facing fears, and the surprise ending. This is a great book to add to any child's collection.

We love narwhal and jelly!! They have been our reading buddies since book one! We laughed so much at all narwhals costumes and the short breaks in the story. It had me laughing and I had to stop reading to collect myself. We will be reading this again and telling all our friends about it.

I adore Ben Clanton and this series! This is a great Halloween book and so much fun to read! The comics are super cute and expressive without being overwhelming. A great introduction to graphic novels for new readers.

My daughter absolutely loves the Narwhal and Jelly books and this one is no different. Dare I say it was 'spooktacular'. The story was cute and she loved all the facts about scary named real life sea creatures and all the funny costume ideas. We will definitely be adding a hardcopy of this one to her collection.

My 8 year old son is a HUGE Narwal fan - we usually buy the French version of the books, but he was all too happy to read the latest in English, especially because his birthday is Halloween! As with all Narwal books in the series, this one was absolutely adorable and full of humour. Highly recommend the series! We will absolutely add the French edition to our collection when it is released :)

Narwhal and Jelly return with a Halloween themed book (coming out July 2023). It comes complete with three adventures, fun facts and playful puns. Narwhal can’t decide on a costume and Jelly gets a little scared and wants to hide till the festivities are over. Narwhal and Jelly are best friends in these graphic novels aimed at younger readers. They are very popular for younger grades K-3 in my school. The books are silly and fun and I’ve read them all. It is an auto purchase for an elementary school or children’s library. Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin Random House Canada, Tundra Books for the temporary eARC in exchange for a review.

I received this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Nobody, and I repeat nobody does cute and clever and warm and sweet like Ben Clanton. Is there any sight that's more cute than an Uni-corn Narwhal, perhaps the vampire Narwhal who made me and my daughter collectively go an "awwwwwwwwwww".

This Halloween centric story was waffley full of puns and wordplay. The plot was simply adorable and illustrations amazing like the previous 7.

So excited to have this book come out with its Glow-in-the-Dark cover. We'll definitely add it to our collection.

Narwhal is excited for Halloween, but Jelly is frightened by all the spooky costumes. Yet another cute addition to the Narwhal and Jelly series and a good non-scary Halloween book for kiddos, but I wish it had been a little longer. The scene with Narwhal wearing all the costumes at once was pretty funny.

Note: I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley. I was not compensated in any other fashion for the review and the opinions reflected below are entirely my own. Special thanks to the publisher and author for providing the copy.

Love love love this. I completely adore Narwhal and Jelly and this was a terrific addition to their adventures. Keep the stories conning! (My husband buys me the physical copies as they come out kind of as tradition now ever since he bought me the first one for our anniversary many years ago.)
