Mazey Edding's YA debut was a real treat and (what felt like) an authentic look into the neurodivergent teenage mind.

To outsiders and even her family, Tilly seems scattered, unstable, and unmotivated about her future. In reality, she is passionate about writing, intensely in tune with her emotions, and seeking to find her place in a world where she feels constantly misunderstood due to her ADHD. She gets the opportunity to spend the summer in Europe with her sister's nascent company and can't wait to start living her life untethered from home.

Enter Oliver, interning with the same company for the summer and completely thrown off by Tilly and her personality. As the two work together more and start to learn about each other's neurodivergence, they realize that they have more in common than they realize and that maybe their summer in Europe is just a beginning.

I am looking forward to Eddings' future forays into YA novels!

After a disastrous and hilarious first meeting Tilly and Oliver find themselves working for Tilly's sister at her start up company for the summer traveling through Europe.

I absolutely adored this book! I loved the dual point of a view from both characters and getting to know them. I laughed out loud so many times, only to cry five minutes later.

This book felt exactly like the title, it gave me all kinds of emotions and i loved all the descriptions Oliver made when talking about how color makes him feel. This was definitely a feel good read!

I can't wait to read another YA book Eddings!

this book was beyond expectations i really enjoyed reading about nuerodivergent teens its not something you always get a big spotlight on and tilly and oliver made it work with a relationship and jobs and everything i just cant say enough great things about it thanks for letting me read

Well, this book was a DELIGHT! I thought I would read it as a palette cleanser between more serious books and it did do that well. However, the discussions of neurodiverse individuals and their struggles and the silent judgment of low expectations, if you will, just broke my heart and also made me learn things I probably should already have known as an old broad who has spent the last 20+ years in education! I love Tilly. I love love love Oliver. The settings were so joyous and the cast of characters that populate this story are just funny and quirky and sweet and LOVE!!!! ♥♥

Tilly in Technicolor is Mazey Eddings YA debut about ADHD girl and autistic boy who form a connection over the course of a summer. I have say I liked more then her contemporary romance, it was definitely a cute book. The wholesomeness between Tilly and Oliver was actually super adorable, and their relationship is so real.
This was overall very enjoyable and I hope Mazey Eddings continues writing more YA books.
