I've never read a Fracassi story I didn't like and BOYS IN THE VALLEY was no exception. I was so thrilled to get an advance copy from Tor/Nightfire!

BOYS is the story of a Catholic orphanage at the turn of the 20th century in rural Pennsylvania. It focuses on one boy, Peter, and how he came to be in that horror show they called an orphanage. And let me tell you, having known someone who did time in a Catholic orphanage half a century later, this place was mild compared to that. But for the outhouses, lack of electricity, lack of cars, demons...

OMG! This was horror, non-stop. And once you get started, DO NOT STOP. It has it all. Boy even meets girl. Reserve your copy now.

Philip Fracassi. That name has become synonymous with great, exceptional writing. BOYS IN THE VALLEY, should cement his place as one of the best writers of the Horror genre. What a wonderfully crafted story. What a great premise. Each Novel by this author is original and unique, this being the best yet although its hard to pick a favorite since they are so damn good. I love this book. That last page...

Philip Fracassi is a master at his craft! This is the second novel I’ve read by him and he simply does not let down. The writing is wonderful and the characters feel real. The story is exactly what I want out of a horror novel. I’m a fan 100% and will continue to acquire all of his works now.
