Filled with action and adventure. Captivating.
Many thanks to Black Rose Writing and to NetGalley for providing us with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

An adventure treasure story that keeps you reading. Lost gold and a religious relic has everyone in the hunt..
Characters are well developed but the but could have used some help. Unless I missed it, no one went back for the gold covered with fine silt. The relic occupies most of the text.
Fun read.

An action packed story about a missing treasure. Several people are racing against time to attain a lost treasure. I received a arc copy by NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

After spending time in 1812 with the theft of the relic and the shipwreck that followed months later, the story returns to the present day and begins the treasure hunt by our intrepid sleuths. Lots of Tasmanian lore, fascinating characters, and a really good story! I want to read more from Jameson and Elspeth!
I requested and received an EARC from Black Rose Writing via NetGalley. Thank you!!

this does a great job in being a good mystery, it had what I was hoping for when I read the description. It was a great concept and I enjoyed the time period used in this story. The characters were what I was looking for from this type of book and can't wait for more from Craig Godfrey. Craig Godfrey had a great writing style and I was glad I was able to read this.

"Brad watched Elspeth storm across the car park onto the road where she had a kilometre walk to his renter overlooking the harbour. ‘Drink up guys, it’ll be dark in an hour. Now’s a good time to slip out of the harbour.’"
