This was such a good thriller, it had everything, secrets, lies, deception, police procedural and psychological twists. I read this is one sitting, I was hooked and had to know what happened, especially because of the age of the children and how, although obviously some parts are extreme, it could actually happen at least the basics which adds to the suspense. Also then ending was such a big bang I loved it, I didn't think there could be any more twists but Kabler just hits you with me. I highly recommend this it was a great psychological thriller and I will be checking out more of her work.

Ooh this was a great thriller! I wasn't sure how a whole class could disappear but the author made this work! With a class missing came a group of frantic parents... there were so many characters involved and when a message came through about a secret.. suddenly many of the parents actually had sordid secrets they were hiding!

The Vanishing of Class 3 B is a psychological thriller, police procedural, which promises an interesting plot. But author Jackie Kabler’s latest thriller doesn’t fully deliver. The book is well-written and the plot is unique, but it isn’t worth the ride.

Set in the Cotswold area, the book is about a class of primary school children and their teachers, who set off on a bus day trip. They don’t return. And no one can find them. The police have few leads. The kidnappers demand money because one of the parents has a terrible secret. Which parent has the secret?

Interesting premise, but the details are hard to follow. With so many parents, it’s hard to keep track of them. We don’t get to know the kidnappers for most of the book, which might have been interesting. The children are so sweet, but again there are so many, that most of them are just names. The police are usual police-type characters, always tired and hungry. By the end of the story, the whole thing seems pretty far-fetched.

I had high hopes for this book, but I seem to be just as lost as the characters. Thanks to NetGalley for an advance review copy. This is my honest review.

Thank you Netgalley and HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter for the copy of The Vanishing Of Class 3B by Jackie Kabler. I loved the plot - a busload of kids and their teachers vanish after a field trip. While I thought the reveal of the kidnappers was interesting (but not a huge surprise), why they were doing it was an anticlimax.
The police were not very bright and the parents of the missing kids weren’t either. Why wouldn’t the parents confide in the police if they really wanted to get the kids back? The parents all felt interchangeable and I struggled to keep them straight for most of the book.
The writing never engaged me.
I think if you like police procedurals, you will like this book, because most of it was about what the police thought and did. I enjoyed the scenes inside The Bunker which were few and far between, so this was not the book for me.

I love this authors books as she keeps you on your toes while reading. Once I had started this I couldn’t put it down and read it in almost one sitting. The perfect Easter suspense read.

This had me hooked from
The title and was a gripping read with lots of secrets and lies and twists and turns and makes you question how no one is on the inside really like how they appear to everyone else on the outside and what webs of deceit can be going on it what seems like normal households

This would make a good tv drama adaptation.

Can’t wait to read this authors next book

I really enjoyed this thriller. Lots of twists and turns that kept me reading on. I liked how the story was explained near the end with no loose ends.

The idea of a whole class of little kids, their teachers and a minibus vanishing into thin air during a school trip would seem to stretch the bounds of credibility. But the author does a good job of introducing us to an intriguing array of distraught parents, teasing us as to which of them has a secret that could have provoked such an incident.

Told from a variety of perspectives the story rattles along faster than any pace the minibus might have managed along the Cotswolds lanes. As tension rise between the parents, there are twists a plenty and a narrative that’s well planned keeping you hooked to the final page

A fun read.
One spring morning, a bus full of children and their teachers from a Cotswolds primary school head off on a much-anticipated day trip. But as night falls and the well-heeled parents – one or two of them famous, as well as wealthy – wait at the school to collect their weary offspring, it soon becomes clear that something has gone very wrong. The children and their teachers simply do not come back. What’s happened doesn’t seem possible. How can an entire class of children simply vanish?
Loved her Previous one but it wasn't my cup of tea but I didn't feel disappointed when I completed it. It's a fun read.
Thanks to NetGalley and Harper Collins UK One More Chapter for giving me an advance copy.

The children and staff of a Cotswolds primary school set off on a much anticipated day trip but later that day, when they are due to return, there is no sign of any of them. Just how can a whole class of children disappear? As their parents become increasingly worried, it soon becomes apparent that one of them might be the cause of the disappearance. What guilty secrets are they harbouring and will they be willing to divulge what they know in order to save their children?

A child going missing is every parent’s worst nightmare but surely they are safe on a school trip with four members of staff? It is not apparent for a while why the children have vanished although there is a definite feeling of unease, something which is confirmed when the minibus they were travelling on is discovered, complete with something inside that strikes fear into everyone involved. We are still left wondering the reason for their disappearance, the author drip feeding us information, keeping us on the edge of our seats.

As the plot develops, we realise that one of the parents has a secret and that this is the reason for the disappearance. However, it would seem that there is more than one secret amongst them so which one is the cause and will they reveal all to save the children? Jackie Kabler shows us how we don’t always know what goes on behind closed doors and that the image that someone portrays isn’t always what they are really like.

The children of Class 3B are a resilient bunch, showing how even in the darkest of situations, there is hope. I really enjoyed reading the chapters featuring the children, especially when some of the characters started to become aware of what had actually happened to them and who was involved. Never underestimate a child!

The Vanishing of Class 3B has a great plot that kept me gripped until the very end with an exciting well-written conclusion.

My Review:
Enjoyed!!!!! I have read this author before and decided I would give this one a shot. I’m so glad I did. I loved this one very much. What wasn’t there to love about this book is the real question. It had everything that I look for in a great book. It had great characters, great plot and of course my favorite a great ending. All the characters in this one were shady and they all had something to hide. All these secrets started to come out as each chapter passed and I raced through each of them like they were my last. I just had to find out what happened to The Class of 3B. What an incredible story line this book had. It kept me intrigued and wanting to know more. A whole class went missing along with their teachers on a day out. That’s unheard of. I haven’t read this kind of plot yet. What happened to all of them was my first question. I had to know and get to the bottom of all of it. Now let’s talk about that heart attack of an ending. I was shocked and speechless. I couldn’t believe what I reading. I was like OMG the entire time. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

In conclusion, the plot, the characters and all the twists in this book made this book an enjoyable read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My thanks to NetGalley and Harper Collins for a copy of “ The Vanishing Of Class 3 B” for an honest review.

I’ve enjoyed other books by Jackie Kabler and the premise for this book sounded intriguing.I enjoyed the first half of the book but, for me, the suspense didn’t last .I’d guessed what was going on , and struggled to finish the book , as things all became a little far fetched , and extreme for me .
An average read , when her other books have been so much better

What a brilliant read. The title is really punchy and I was really hoping that the story itself lived up to it and wasn’t flat. This certainly didn’t disappoint and I found that I read this in one day! Class 3B are due to go on a school trip with four members of staff. However their brand new minibus has a fault on it so they use one from the local taxi firm. Straight away I was intrigued as to whether this was relevant. All fourteen of them then go missing on their way back to school. An interesting group of characters, some more likeable than others. This had plenty of twists and turns and as soon as I thought I’d worked it out my predictions were either not as strong as I thought or I was proved totally wrong. This had me guessing right until the very end and I would definitely recommend this great read. Thank you to One More Chapter and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review

THRILLING. ENTRALLING. OH WTF WORTHY!!!!

Jackie, Jackie my love you have earned yourself a new fan so long as you choose to produce content.

The Vanishing Class of 3B was pedal to the medal. I would give this book 10 stars if i could.. it starts in a quaint little village with the typical moms and dads of a rich suburban neighborhood. (I’m born and raised in California so my comparisons are of the only kind of neighborhoods I know.) 13 children and 4 teachers go off on a field trip and do not return. For FIVE days this story unfolds, lead by lead, day by day, even the ever so courteous time stamps. I couldn’t *IMAGINE* the way I would feel. So of course, a random right? That’s all they could want. It’s a rich neighborhood with rich parents and their most prize possessions, their children, have now been kid napped with no contact for days….

Fast forward

Shit gets REAL. And I mean REALLY REALLY REAL. When i tell you i say here and tried to guess who for upmost of 200 pages. I thought I knew, I thought I had it down! But boy was I wrong… when you realize what’s going on it’s to late! It’s enthralling cause after so long I was reading faster than my eyes could physically move. The ties in this book, I think I enjoyed that the most. I thoroughly enjoy characters and character ties that make me feel as if I need to grab a pen and paper and draw a map as to who’s connected to who and why. THIS MADE ME HAVE TO THINK AND REMEMBER AND I LOVE THAT. I had no clue where this was going or how this was REALLY going to end cause everytime i had it “figured” out I was way off.

This is better than any law & order SVU, criminal minds, desperate housewives kind of television show i ever encountered.

I need part 2, & for the love of god can you do a deal for this book on a television show??? I’ll call Netflix myself. Hats off to you. This was pure brilliance and I am now mad I finished the whole book.

THANK YOU JACKIE, and thank you to netgalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

…brb going to find & buy the rest of Jackie Kablers books.

Young children out on a field trip for a day suddenly go missing.
Ten young kids and their teachers go on a bus for a day out to a local animal park. When the parents go to pick them up from school that evening, the bus never shows up. The head teacher tries to call the teachers who accompanied the children, but their cell phones appear to have been turned off. Hours pass, the parents are getting desperate. How could a whole bus and occupants just disappear.
I found this book to be interesting and it did have enough mystery and a good ending to keep me reading to the end.
I thank the author, publisher and Netgalley for my ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I really enjoyed reading this story. I wasn’t sure how it was going to go, especially when it became clear that there were a lot of secrets to be discovered.

Full of twists and turns, right to the very end.

Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing a copy.

If I am being honest I thought the premise for this sounded odd and I was unsure how Kabler could pull this off. Well Kabler did pull it off! I found this to be a gripping read and I wanted to keep reading to find out what had happened to the class of 3B. As the book progressed I did find myself thinking there is only one resolution to this which did turn out to be true, but it did not spoil the book for me as I enjoyed seeing how Kabler leads the plot in that direction and seeing everything tied up was satisfying.
The characters are an eclectic set and all are in possession of secrets that we learn as the book progresses. They were all worth discovering and I enjoyed guessing what they might be before they were revealed.
I did really enjoy this read, I did think some areas bordered on the ridiculous but I found it an enthralling read.
Thank you to NetGalley and HarperCollins UK for an advance copy.

An enjoyable read that kept me guessing. The premise of the book is engaging - how is it possible for a whole minibus of pupils and teachers to disappear as they return from a school trip?
I found the book a little slow at the start and as there were so many characters it was a bit confusing to keep track of, especially the different sets of parents with children on the bus.
However, I enjoyed it more as I got into it and as the story reached its climax I wanted to keep reading to discover what had happened. I particularly enjoyed the chapters told from the perspective of Luca, one of the children on the minibus.

A class of children and their teachers travel in a bus to a field trip. As their parents await their return, it soon becomes clear that they aren't coming - the bus has vanished along with all the children and teachers. What has happened to Class 3B?

This was the first book by this author I've read and I absolutely loved it! I found it really gripping and couldn't stop turning the pages until the shocking ending. Lots of twists and turns and surprises. Brilliant!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy of the book in return for my honest feedback.

Class 3B are setting off on a day trip. Children excited for the day ahead. The day is nearly cancelled when the school minibus develops a fault. However, a replacement is found after a delayed start.
At the end of the day the parents gather anxiously in the school yard. The children and their teachers haven’t returned. They have all vanished.
As everyone gathers to wait there safe return it sound becomes apparent that they have been taken. As parents receive messages and ultimately a ram son demand. All the parents seem to have something to hide but who is the real target?
Will everyone make it home safely and what is the reason behind the kidnapping.
A well thought out book by Jackie Kabler and a very enjoyable read.
Many thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to see an ARC.
