This book kept my attention from the start and I liked that all the sister’s lives were included in the story but it’s not until later that the first victim was revealed and it suddenly took off in a different direction. I’ve only read a few books by Diane Saxon but have enjoyed them as much as this one. I’ll definitely be reading a lot more of her books next year.

Another brilliant book from Diane Saxon. This had me hooked from page one even though I wasn’t totally sure what was going on. There are so many twists and turns and just when I thought that I did know what had or was happening it was all turned on its head! The story focuses on four sisters, Tess, Bobbi, Alexis and Sarah, their different lives but also how what has happened in the past influences their lives now. Men who have interfered with children are made to pay but how and by whom……. Great characters and some scenes that don’t leave much to the imagination. I love Diane Saxon’s style of writing and found this unputdownable.
Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review.

I love Diane Saxons novels and always look forward to a new book, but this one, My sisters secret was hard going to start with and it took me a while to get into it, I found that none of the main characters ( four sisters) were particularly pleasant and the story floundered along, it did get better as the story progressed but it’s not one of my favourites. Also I feel it should have a trigger warning as the subject of child abuse is very prevalent in the story which might upset some readers.

It took me a second to get into this because the characters are kind of awful. They are sisters who are also super judgmental of one another. They were just kind of mean. Anyway, as the story goes on it makes sense and becomes relatable. I absolutely loved the "justice" aspect of it. It fueled my bloodlust.

There was a lot going on in this book, but nothing really grabbed my attention. The book did surprise me in the end.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for this eARC.

I really enjoyed this book and was drawn into the story right from the start. It is about four sisters where at least one of them was abused as a child and scared to tell anyone. As adults they all have secrets and will stick together against whatever is thrown at them. I loved the writing style here, it was very engaging and this quickly became a very absorbing read for me. As the book progressed I had so much empathy with the characters and could fully understand their thoughts and feelings and why they acted as they did. The underlying abuse theme is written sensitively and doesn’t contain any graphic detail (thank god) leaving it to the readers imagination. I thought the plot line was good, I couldn’t work out which sister was taking action which really piqued my interest and definitely made me want to continue reading and know more. Overall a very good and entertaining read which I would recommend. Thoroughly loved this book.

Diane Saxon writes strong psychological novels and this one revolves around four sisters and a sexual abuser who traumatized one or more of the family. As in most cases, the young child is afraid and no reports are filed and the fear and violence stays with her today. Unspoken secrets swirl around this family and as they group together, the pressures build. The secrets begin to spill and more violence occurs as the secrets are revealed. Is one of the sisters responsible? If so, I’m on her side. Fast read, well written characters and a good story.

Great story about 4 sisters and about what they've overcome with some secual abuse growing up. The beginning of the book was a tad confusing because there are so many characters and it was overwhelming to keep track of who is who, what child is she talking about, and what sister is "speaking now." But it gets better and eventually the twists start. Not my favorite, but I'll read more from this same author.

I love this author and was looking forward to reading this it was a fabulous page turning psychological thriller with lots of twists and turns and it also covered a lot of sensitive topics and brought them out in the open.

I liked how the story explored each of the sisters and the secrets they held and that the story makes you question what would you do if faced with those situations.

Once had started reading I couldn’t put it down and read it in practically one sitting.

I absolutely loved My Sister's Secret! The lives and secrets the four sisters share with their extended families have plenty of twists, with just enough backstories woven in to show why the siblings are the way they are now.

Twists and turns, you think you know, but then you don't know. Everything I love in a book! Kudos, Diane Saxon!

Sometimes tragedy can tear a family apart but not in the case of the 4 sisters in Diane's latest novel. A story of childhood abuse and the lack of justice for perpetrator. But someone's decided to fight back and take the law into their in hands, after all its never to late is it. But as close as they are, all sisters have secrets from each other
As usual with Diane's books she takes you right into the middle of the story and makes you think what would you do?

Family and secrets…sisters…children…spouses…all the issues of these characters and more work together to make this one a thriller…this author is gifted at weaving a story that is fiction but could be nonfiction. This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review.
