For me this book just failed to connect - I am not sure if it was the art style or the way the story was told but I feel ashamed that a story about incredible survival in the Holocaust didn't work for me.

Beautiful, haunting book showing a different side to WW2. Reminiscent of Raymond Briggs this book left me shattered. A child's eye view of conflict.
