This graphic novel was quite the dark and twisted silent tale! I didn't initially expect the amount of gore and violence in it, but I enjoyed the book nonetheless. I really loved the illustrations and the lack of words did not take away from the overall story.

OH my gosh. I will forever have nightmares about this book.

Mage and the Endless Unknown is a YA graphic horror novel that follows the strange life a mage, who wakes in the middle of a meadow with a desire to travel. Thus beginning a journey through forests and mountains, where they encounter countless monsters and nearly loose every piece of themselves.

This graphic novel was quite strange, in a good way. As it explored themes of horror and what it means to be monstrous, while having minimal dialogue. I think this book is perfect for anyone need a fresh slap of reality on how not all fantasies have to have a 'happily ever after.'
