When I picked up this book, I expected it would follow the Hallmark-ish type romance formula, and just be set in Alaska, but this one turned out a bit different. Instead of boy meets girl and sparks fly, this one had the boy and girl (Judah and Autumn) as being a former couple and were deeply in love, girl dumped the boy because she was told she couldn't have children. Fast forward to 15 years later and this is where our story takes place, Autumn has just moved back to Alaska and is preparing to start over. Judah's wife and son were killed in a car crash and he just wants to stop. The chemistry is there, but there are so many obstacles.
It is a quick, fun read, I only wish there was a bit more of Alaska in the book because of my obsession, otherwise, this was a nice escape.

This was the first book I had read by this author and I really enjoyed it. Good characters that were believable and a nice plot. I will read more by this author. My thanks to the publisher for an electronic copy of this book.

Awesome book, awesome Author! I love second chance romances! Very well written, keeps you on the edge of your seat!

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
What a sweet second chance romance this was. Autumn and Judah are two people that were given a second chance after both experiencing loss.
Autumn returns home after her divorce pregnant and looking for a fresh start for her and her baby. Jonah is still dealing and grieving over the loss of his wife and child.
These two learn to trust and love again but certainly not without a few bumps in the road and some trust issues.
Definitely a Live Inspired Romance you should check out.

Second Chance Romance set in Alaska on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula.
Autumn has come home after 12 years in NYC and a failed marriage carrying a surprise pregnancy. Her ex didn't want children and she wants to raise her baby
around her family and friends.
Judah is a fisherman by trade and deep in depression after the loss of his wife and son in a car accident.
The story of them coming back to each other is sweet, romantic and hopeful.
Heartwarming.

Her Alaskan Return is a well written romance. Good plot and character dynamics and I loved the Alaskan setting. My thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for my advance ebook.. This is my unbiased review.

Her Alaskan Return is a short and sweet romance. When Autumn finds herself pregnant and divorced, she heads home to Serenity Peak, Alaska, to raise the baby. She quickly runs into her ex-boyfriend, Judah, who is dealing with the death of his wife and son, as well as his father, when Autumn comes crashing back to town and into his heart. It’s a cute story even though I wasn’t a huge fan of Judah and he annoyed me a few times.
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for a review and opinions are my own.

Her Alaskan Return is an interesting story about returning home and facing the past. Healing and rebuilding a future, maybe getting a second chance at love

This was a sweet second chance romance set in Alaska. While there were times that it was predictable, it didn’t take away from the story. And the faith aspect was perfect for this story. With Love Inspired you know how the story’s going to end. However it’s not the ending that makes this book but the journey to get there.
