This book wasn’t as great as I had been hoping. I didn’t love it, and I didn’t hate it. It’s just kind of middle ground for me. I normally love anything Meghan Quinn writes, but this book just wasn’t for me.

I didn’t love this from, I find her romcoms quite formulaic and character dialogue very forced. Thank you for this ARC but I like to be honest in my reviews.

Omg! Lmao!
This was a hard book to get through, I had to stop so many times because I was laughing so hard. And then when I would calm down Meghan hit me with another crazy scene.
Tessa and Myles relationship was so cute. I loved how they both were crushing on each other from a very young age and how it developed through the years.
Their encounters had me laughing so hard, Tessa was so awkward around Myles but he secretly loved it.
Her sister and friends had me laughing at all the crazy situations they put each other in. I loved how they kept their friendship bond so strong through the years.
Without giving anything away,
this book had all the feels and was such a great read.
It's now one of my favorites of Meghan's.

I really struggled with this book I didn’t think it was funny and thought it was an obvious plot line. Good holiday read for some people but not my taste in book or humour

Another fun && hilarious romance in the books! I will say, this one took me awhile to get into. Which is not normally the case for me when it comes to Meghan’s books. But once I was hooked, I refused to stop.

Tessa is on a trip to Greece with her sister && their friends a few weeks before her sisters wedding. Her family has vacationed there every summer since Tessa can remember, && ever since they started Tessa has always had a crush on the boy she see every summer. Myles. Myles’ family owns the resort they stay in && he has secretly always crushed on her since he was 14. Now they’re adults && both back at the resort.

I loved the development of their relationship! Tessa is such a hot mess when it comes to Myles && Myles for the most part can play it cool, but Tessa obviously made them nervous. There were scenes in this book that made me swoon && scenes that made me cry laughing. I loved them as a couple && their relationship.

Now Tessa’s relationship with her sister && friends.. was honestly awful. I constantly felt bad for Tessa && I couldn’t imagine why Tessa continuously hung out with them when they treated her so awful. I could have easily done without them in the book!

All in all, another fun quirky read from Meghan!

Once again M Quinn delivers a laugh out loud, swoony, and steamy romance. This story is unique. The setting is refreshing. And the heroine... well let's just say you will have second-hand embarrassment from her A LOT. Tessa is so quirky and awkward but you can't help but cheer for her. And Myles....SWOOOOON!!!

In the first part of this story, you will come to know Tessa and Myles' history, which goes back years, and all of the quirks of Tessa, her sister and their friends. The antics of these four girls took up quite a bit of the first part of the book, and I was just about over it all when it turned, and the depth of the story and the main characters took charge.

I loved Tessa's character development, and I loved the connection and chemistry between her & Myles. It was so organic and natural, and the way in which these two navigated their relationship and families who stood in their way kept me invested in their story until the very end.

This book will will leave you grinning, swooning over Myles, and shaking your head saying "no no no" to Tessa at times, yet loving all their quirks, passion and ease in which they can laugh with and at the other. Well done once again, M Quinn!

There were some aspects of this book a really enjoyed while there were other parts that were not my favourite. I found that I could not relate with the sister and the friends and the humour was not really for me! I look forward to reading other books by Meghan in the future!

I'm not sure why I didn't connect with this book but it just wasn't what I was looking for at the time. Still amazing writing by Meghan

A history that brought them closer and a romance that withstood everything. An absolutely hilarious love story!

Got 12% of the way in and concluded this is not for me. The humor is on the extreme end of contrived and awkward and not at all funny.

This book was so...childish? immature? over the top meddling? This was one of the first MQ books I read and thought, damn, I'm really not going to like this and that is disappointing.

as an FMC Tessa was over-the-top, manic pixie dream girl and was so high strung I wanted to gift her some anti-anxiety medication. I do appreciate that she started to calm down over time but the hurdle of her internal monologue was strong.

I don't want to even get into the sisters and the contract...omg you really held up a contract from when you were children and Britney spears perfume? their antics gave me second hand embarrassment. really the side characters ruined the story for me.

Here is what I did like: the setting was fantastic. Myles repairing his relationship with his dad was really nice. I did like Tessa and Myles as a couple overall, they were very sweet together.

What a good story of a vacation crush that was so much more. Stolen glances and small interminglings that happen but seem so far fetched that you would think only makes for a great memory. But when FATE steps in and things become real, what's a person to do? Family values and life get in the way, not to mention living on a different continent. Throw in a childhood pact that cannot be crossed, things just are not looking good for the home team. Patience is definitely a virtue in this tale.

This Meghan Quinn rom com was sheer perfection - especially for those of us who love to travel. Tessa travels to Greece for her sister’s wedding and runs into her childhood crush Myles. Antics ensue and Tessa and Myles conspire to pull one over on both of their families. Little do they know, their antics bring them closer together. Steamy and witty - a fun and easy read that lets you reminisce about young love that gets a second chance.

I’m a huge Meghan Quinn and was super excited to grab this ARC. Here are my honest thoughts…

Myles and Tessa have an adorable HEA that I want to read more about! I’m hoping there is a long extended epilogue when this book releases… I want to know more about their life together (maybe some kids?!?!). I’m also hoping for a segue into Toby’s story? That cutie and good friend could use his own HEA!

I thought this was a hilarious audio book. The narrators were fantastic and it honestly got more funny as the book went on. Tessa and Myles were some really great characters.
I found it endearing that there was the unrequited love component to the story. And the whole Greek culture, family and food parts were so interesting.

Was it a little bit over the top? Would some of that stuff never happen in real life?
Absolutely, but that is what you get with Meghan Quinn. I was honestly laughing out loud.

If I had any critiques, it would be that the 3rd act breakup dragged on forever and the length was a bit unnecessary. But even with that, I liked the glimpse into Myles and his dad's relationship through that time.

Another incredible read by Meghan Quinn. Although I wanted to throat punch Roxane 90% of the time. Tessa and Myles are perfect together. Tessa has always been attracted to Myles from when she was younger. She couldn’t wait for summer vacation in Greece every year. Although she never spoke to Myles or even knew his name she couldn’t wait to see him at the resort. Never knowing that he was the owner’s son. For the last seven years however, he was not there. She never knew why but was disappointed that he was no longer there.
Now there for her sister’s wedding she sees him. Tessa has always been shy. Not very outgoing, or forward. That was all her twin, Roxane.
Myles has always looked forward to the summer because he knew Tessa and her family spent it at the resort every year. He would always seek out Tessa without her knowing. He never made his attraction known to her either.
Now they find themselves together because of what her sister and their friends are trying to do to Tessa. That stupid contract they wrote back in high school.
The best thing to come out of that is Tessa and Myles both realize their attraction to each other and she is finally comfortable around him to allow him to see the real Tessa. They are absolutely perfect together. They make the most of their time together and realize this isn’t just a vacation fling. This is fate and that forevers are made of.
How can they make it work when his life is in Greece and hers is in NY. Besides, she has to be there for her sister and the rules of the contract. She is putting everything and everyone else first and trying to fix everything. Can she finally start taking care of herself and allowing herself to have her own happily ever after. For her and Myles to be together forever. Is it finally her time to be happy and make a life with Myles.
Their feelings for each have finally been admitted. Can they find a way to make it work? Where there is a will there is a way. The timing is perfect. Love will always find a way.

I enjoyed the overall plot of this book. I liked the idea of the agreement that Tessa had with her sister and her friends; however, I found some of the characters hard to connect with because of their somewhat immature behavior. I did find Myles to be a nice counter balance for Tessa though, and he definitely seemed to bring out the best in her.

I´ve read other books by Meghan Quinn so I knew what to expect and omg, it did not disappoint.

The story was just so funny and cute and with the right amount of spice in it.

I really liked Tessa´s character arc. It was nice to see her finally be herself because throughout the majority of the book, she wants to make sure that her friends and specially her sister are happy and to ensure that they follow their "contract". But it was great to see her moving to Greece to be with Myles because it was what she really wanted to do.

And Myles was the best! It was great to see him making things right with this father after that happened and to see them being close to each other again.

Overall, this book was really good and I loved it!!

Meghan Quinn's books are always such a mood lifter for me. They're never too serious and always cute and funny. Vacation Wars had all of that, especially her signature humor.

Unfortunately, despite having all of those elements, this one wasn't my favorite. I had a hard time getting into the story, and most of the characters were annoying.
I did absolutely love the setting, and it was vividly brought to life.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Uff.
This one is rough. I think I might have outgrown my Meghan Quinn stage.
I truly dislike every single one of the characters in this book, and the plot was so over dramatic and over done.
