Thank you Netgalley for an arc copy in exchange for an honest review.

I chose this book as a preschool teacher thinking it might be a good inclusion when we are discussing emotions. I liked the depiction of fear being a black eggz the discussion that everyone has fears, and the different kind of fears there are. I also liked the information at the back of the book. Overall I liked the book but I did think two of the illustrations were more on the creepy side then I might feel comfortable with when dealing with a class of two and three year olds.

I received this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This is a good book that goes over fear and how to understand it.

I really liked the art style of this book and the inclusivity in the characters. I think it's really important to talk to kids about emotions and fear the way this book does, it doesn't shy away from using the real language behind fears. I think this book does a really good job of showing kids it's okay to be scared, and adults are scared more often than you think. My niece loved it, and I'll be sharing it with my nephew soon!

Thank you, NetGalley for sharing the ARC with me in exchange for an honest review.

If you’ve ever asked your parents a simple yes or no question and then gotten a long winded explanation that you didn’t ask for, this is that in book form.

The story is simply the father explaining all types of things that people are afraid of and why people would fear this thing. The artwork is quite creative and detailed.
