Renae Brumbaugh Green’s Courageous Girls Can Change the World is a fantastic devotional for girls 8-12 years old. I used the book to help me prepare for working at Church Camp this summer and found it very beneficial. I think girls would love to read this book and get a lot out of it. The book really ministered to me and I believe it would to young girls as well. I highly recommend this book! Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book.

I am reviewing a copy of Courageous Girls Can Change the World through Barbour Publishing, Barbour Kidz and Netgalley:

Do not let others show disrespect to you because you are young. Show other Christians how to live by your life. They should be able to follow you in the way you talk and in what you do. Show them how to live in faith and in love and in holy living.

Courageous Girls ages 8 through 12 will discover that even though they are young they can make a difference in the world, with every page they turn. Every devotional reading is rooted in Biblical truth and will encourage readers to embrace God's plan for their lives, use their God-given gifts and abilities, and share the Good News in their neighborhoods, communities, and beyond. Girls will be challenged to make a positive change in the world around them as they rely on the heavenly Father for courage and strength. Every page of this devotional offers a new adventure as your girls get started on their way to becoming world-changers!

I give Courageous Girls five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!

As I read through this book I really enjoyed it. The author chose to travel from creation and on, using the Biblical story of God through the lineage of Abraham. It is a great devotional to use alongside Bible reading, going just a little deeper, but applicable to what is going on in the lives of young girls.

Thank you to NetGalley for approving my request to read Courageous Girls Can Change the World. (I requested this book at the same time I requested Brave Boys Can Change the World by Matt Koceich.) I waited a week or two before reading Courageous Girls. There was a little overlap, but honestly, not as much as I had expected.

The format is a bible verse, then "discussion about the bible verse" and then a short prayer. Both books are about 190 pages. Courageous Girls uses New Revised Standard Version Bible, copyright 1989, Division of Christian Education of the National Council of the Churches of Christ.

I'm looking for some Christian books for my young niece and nephew. They are not currently going to church with their parents. I don't think that they have enough exposure to a faith life to understand or comprehend these books. I wish I knew how to be a good Godparent in this situation.

Thank you to NetGalley, Renae Brumbaugh Green the author and Barbour Publishing for the opportunity to review Courageous Girls Can Change the World in exchange for an honest review.
