They just keep getting better and better! I also loved this one - Lucy, sinking into a bit of depression after book 2, gets some voicemails from dishy Chris - who has gone to find his murdering mother!
More twists and turns as we learn even more about Mad Mary and her killing spree!
I read way into the night to finish it, and am really looking forward to the 4th and final one - hoping it’s not too long until the 5th one!

Thank you to #NetGalley, #Bookouture and Stacy Green for the opportunity to read an advance copy of THE GIRL IN THE CABIN (A Lucy Kendall Crime Thriller Book 3), to be published 30 January 2023.. This was a very involved crime thriller about a woman who is not only a Private Investigator but also a social worker who is adamant about her work against pedophiles. The book begins with the protagonist explaining the murders she has committed and hits the ground running from there. Lucy Kendall is a take no prisoners kind of woman who gets the job done - one way or the other. Stacy Green advocates and those who enjoy good crime thrillers will likely enjoy this novel. #NetGalley #Bookouture. #TheGirlintheCabin #StacyGreen

3rd in the Lucy Kendall series and we find her at the beginning debating with herself where her future takes her. Chris still wants her to find Mary but she feels burnt out. Until she realises Chris has taken matters into his own hands and put his own safety at risk.
This is my favourite book so far, we see a more vulnerable side to Lucy and she puts her feelings before reckless behaviour. Series goes from strength to strength

Following directly on from the last in the series this is definitely my favourite so far. Lucy is tortured by her thoughts and feels she’s no better than those she hunts but when Chris is captured she must once again face up to her demons. A brilliant read.

The Girl in the Cabin is book 3 in the Lucy Kendall PI crime thriller mystery series by Stacy Green.

Stacy Green is absolutely killing it with the latest Lucy Kendall series!
Another amazing installment of this fantastic series! Again I flew through this book. Couldn't stop once I started.
The writing itself was very engaging and made me feel connected to the characters.
The characters are deftly drawn and kept my engaged.
This was a roller coaster of a story with so many twists and surprises at every turn that I couldn’t put it down.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next in the series.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my copy of this book.

This book follows on from the events of the last. Private investigator Lucy Kendall is depressed and keeping to herself after she killed two people . She hasn’t been in contact with any of her friends.

When she listens to a recent voice mail, her friend Chris Hale has gone to meet his mother ‘mother Mary’ a prolific serial killer who is on the run. Unfortunately for Chris nobody has turned up, but then he sees someone moving towards him and a gun fires.

On hearing this Lucy springs into action with detective Todd Beckett. With the FBI they try to trace Chris and Mary, but is he still alive and is he now a willing participant in Mary’s murder games.

Again another book with really dark themes. It was really good and I couldn’t put it down. Lucy is a troubled soul but you can understand her motives and support her.

Onto book 4 of this amazing series.

This series keeps getting better and better. Once you pick up one of the books, you can't put it down. Lucy is still after Mother Mary and now Chris is taken. We learn more chilling secrets of Mary's past that will freak you out. I'm off to the next to one!

Another excellent read in the series. I was hooked and read it straight through. This one is centered around Mary and wow! I thought the first book was dark but this one tops it. Some of it is very difficult to read but it's very central to the story. While there are many answers, some things are left for the last book which I am running off to read now. I have a sinking suspicion about a certain character and I can't wait to see if I'm right. This series is not to be missed!

So this series is getting better and better. In my opinion it must be read in in order, I accidently didnt read number 1, so need to go back to it, and that impacted my understanding of book 2, so don't make the same mistake. There are enough little hints on there to keep reading in one afternoon, I just couldn't put it down. So much so that went straight onto book 4, as needed closure.

I was given an advance copy, of the new titled book, by the publishers and netgalley but the review is entirely my own.

Lucy with the help of Todd is looking for Chris. Mother Mary has him. Things aren’t all as they seem. Lucy is questioning a lot of things about Chris. There are twists and turns galore in this book. The writing is very good. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

Jaw dropping and breathtaking. This book deals with the worst humans have to offer. It’s dark and twisted and impossible to put down. Wonderful characters that take you through some of the most intense twists and turns. Incredibly well written with a fast paced can’t put it down plot. Absolutely stunning. My heart raced through the whole book.

Lucy is trying to figure out how to control the demon insider of her and do the right things. Then Mary comes back and takes Chris. She is hoping she can find him before it is to late.

Mary is one crazy serial killer and just keeps getting away with it. This time you learn more about her past and it just shocked me to my core.

I love Lucy and Kelly's strong bond and how well they work together. I can't wait to see what happens next to Lucy as she tries to move on to next chapter of her life.

he Girl in the Cabin was third instalment from Lucy Kendal PI series. A fast foward crime thriller investigation series about a woman who will do everything for save children from sexual predators and sex trafficing.

After followed two amazing super pace from previous two books, the author tried slow down and give us a related but different type cases. One of the character we know being kidnapped and Lucy should help working alongside police and FBI. The pace is slowdown but actually still feel good because we can do extra details digging investigation, searching far back histories and related with emotions rollercoaster from Lucy. I enjoyed this one same with the previous and finished it at one sitting. Totally recommend it.

Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture for provided my copy. I am enjoyed and my thoughts are my own.

This is the third book in a series, and all our past friends are in this book… What a roller coaster ride…
Lucy is a form of CPS worker turned private investigator, who targets pedophiles and bring them her form of justice
I love this author, I have read almost everything she has written, I did not realize that this was a re release, but I’m glad I was able to read it.

The third Lucy Kendall book finds her racing against the clock to save her friend Chris from his serial killer mother. After Lucy gets a call from Chris that ends in a gunshot, she fears the worst. When she enlists the help of detective Todd Beckett, they find out that Chris has actually been kidnapped by his mom. With the help of the FBI, they must dig into her past to try to find Chris before it’s too late.

Another great thriller! This one ends on a really positive note and change for Lucy, so I’m really interested to see where this series goes next.

Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for the copy of The Girl In The Cabin. This is book three in the Lucy Kendall series. Maybe my mistake was reading the first two books one right after the other, but after I started this book I had to take a break to read a palate cleanser or two. Unfortunately for The Girl In The Cabin, my palate cleansers were really well-written that pointed out the flaw in the Lucy Kendall books - the writing doesn’t entice me to keep and I never connected to or cared about any of the characters. This, in addition to the distasteful subject matter, made it a struggle to finish this book. If you like an independent female MC who breaks all the rules and the law, you will probably love this series. If you want great writing and deep characters you can care about, It might not be for you.

This book grabs you from the first page and doesn’t let go. It is a great psychological thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat. This book is part of a series but could be read as a stand alone. I would suggest that you read the previous books because they are all so good. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

another great book from stacy green!! i love the complexity of her books and how the little details tie together in the end and makes you feel silly for not predicting it!
this book was a little slower paced (in my opinion) than the first 2 books in the lucy kendall series, but it added a lot more suspense! im totally obsessed w this series.

This is my first book from the author so I was abit wary about what to expect especially with 3 books appearing all at once! Surely they've all just been rushed out and won't be terribly good. Boy was I wrong! I loved the writing style, it flows so naturally and keeps a good pace as it goes. The writing is depictive without drifting off into waffle or filler passages to just up the word count. It is a bit dark and some of the scenes are quite traumatic but they're never gory or using shock tactics when discussing these topics. The characters are all well written and they make well reasoned decisions and have logical motivations, they're not idiots who make bad decisions just to further the plot which is always incredibly frustrating. Their motivations and through processes are also all very human and understandable for the most part. There are plenty twists and turns and u had no idea where it was going until it wad all revealed to me. I'm away to download the other books because I can't wait to get back into that world and lose myself for a few more days. Highly recommend
