Read the blurb for this book and it sounded right up my street. I have read several of Shari's books previously and enjoyed them. Couldn't wait to get started.

Two couple start their day not knowing how the hours are going to unfold and how their lives are going to be changed. This story fairly raced along - felt like I was on a bit of a rollercoaster with this one but in a good way.

Loved the characters - the author has made them really relatable. And the short time scale really worked for me - didn't want to stop turning the pages. Each chapter was written from a different characters point of view which I also enjoyed.

Overall this book grabbed my attention and didn't let go. It was both tense an emotional. A cautionary tale of infidelity but it does end on a hopeful note.

Would really recommend this title.

Really enjoyed this book. I read it over two days as I got hooked into the story and couldn't put it down! Great plot line and story, it went down a route I wasn't expecting! would recommend this book highly!

The more I read from this author, the bigger a fan I become!

Tress Walker is pregnant; her husband is taking one last work trip before the birth; but when Tress goes into labour, Max can't be found - he isn't where she thought he was. Noah Clark heads off to work completely unaware that his wife, Anya, has been lying to him while Nancy, a recently widowed friend of both couples is preparing for a school reunion - but is she talking herself into or out of it?

I always have high hopes for a Shari Low novel; her characters make me laugh like no others. There is a depth to this novel which produced a few tears along with the giggles. Such a lot going on and all story lines intertwined beautifully. I really cannot recommend this one highly enough - it is unmissable and so easily gets all five singing and dancing stars!

My thanks to the publisher for my copy; my sincere apologies for the delay in writing my review - due to an eye allergy my screen time has been non-existent lately.

I am a huge fan of Shari Low’s writing, so I knew I was going to love this story as much as some of her other books I have read. One Day With You follows the journey of two couples – who are also best friends – over a period of 24 hours. What follows is a series of events, deceit, and tragedy, which rocks the lives of Tress, Max, Noah, Anya, and Nancy.

This is probably one of the most emotional stories I have read. The story was so incredibly moving and emotional – it had me in tears. Shari Low is exceptional at creating characters to be so incredibly real – I spent the whole story so compelled by the journey of each character within the story.

One Day With You is a beautifully written and incredibly emotional story – gripping from start to finish. An absolute must-read from me.

This is another book from Shari Low, that tells it’s tale over the space of one day. I’ve read all of her books written in this style, and I have loved them all.
One Day With You, starts as an ordinary day for two couples and a widow living in the village of Weirbridge.
Little do they all know that life is about to shake up all of their worlds.

This story lured me in from the beginning and cast a spell that captured me to the very end.

As always Shari Low, weaves an intricate story, that captivates the reader.
Her characters are realistic and believable.
I thought Tress and Noah we're both a pleasure to read in this book.

One Day With You, is an incredibly emotional read. It really was quite heartbreaking In places.
There was also a lot of Shari Low’s sharp wit and humour to balance out the heavier content.

I loved this book. I laughed, I cried and I think this may just be Shari Low’s best work yet.
A fantastic five star read.

"One Day With You" by Shari Low is an intense and emotional story that will definitely elicit a range of emotions from readers. The author does a great job of exploring the complexities of relationships and the impact of secrets and lies on those closest to us. The plot is well-crafted and keeps readers on the edge of their seats, wondering what will happen next.

On the downside, I found that there were too many characters to keep track of, and at times it felt like the story was trying to do too much. Additionally, the plot felt a bit too similar to Collen Hoover's "Regretting You" and I felt like the execution of the plot was better in that novel.

Overall, I would say that "One Day With You" has potential, but for me personally it fell short. It's definitely an engaging read with some sweet moments, but I couldn't help feeling that it could have been better.

If you're looking for a novel that will elicit a lot of emotions (specifically anger at its morally corrupt caracters) this might be worth a read.

A real tearjerker from Shari Low. So many emotions as we spend the day with Tress, Nancy and Val.
I loved Nancy and Val’s relationship- and the support and love they both provided Tress was beautiful.
The story is told over the space of just one day and it’s difficult to imagine how much actually happens in that 24 hour period, but Shari low manages to capture the highs and lows of life.
It’s difficult to review this one without spoilers so I’ll leave it by saying it’s one that will break your heart and then slowly make it whole again.

This story is engaging and heartwarming, full of many emotions that the reader experiences through the relatable characters and their relationships. I love the everydayness of this author's characters. They are believably flawed and easy to relate to. The story centres on a dramatic day's events and makes you laugh and cry. It's an engaging and entertaining read that keeps you turning the pages.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

I am super THRILLED to be on this Blog Tour. I just love how Shari Low writes. One Day with You, what an incredible story that follows 5 lives. Tress, Max, Noah, Anya and Nancy. Tress and Max are Married, Tress is due to give birth, Noah and Max are best friends, always have been. Noah is married to Anya. Anya works with Max and Nancy is an elderly neighbour who watched Max and Noah grow up. Nancy also loves her permed hair, takes me back to my mother getting her hair permed for volume. Its a real mix if love, lies and more love. The real question is: How far do you go to find out the truth? Where does the truth begin and the lies end? It's an exciting, gut wrenching, exhilarating, devasting read, just beautiful. A must read.

WOW!! What an emotive read centred on just one day!
Twenty-four hours that will change life more than they could say.

Tress and Max Walker are excited as can be
As their new baby is due in a week or three.
Max's best friend is Noah Clark, they've been pals for years
But by the end of this day, one will be in tears.

Three friends for fifty years or more
Live nearby and next door.
They're getting ready for a fifty year school reunion party night,
Hoping to look great and hopefully not a fright!

When labour starts early, Tress is in a plight
She can't contact Max though trying with all her might.
Meanwhile Noah is trying to discover
Where his wife Anya is - and if she has a lover!

Nancy Jenkins to the rescue, along with her two friends
On their help getting Tress to the maternity ward she can depend.
Get ready for surprises that will change life for them all
On this day that forever they'll recall.

A story filled with drama and secrets uncovered,
As accidents, betrayal and more are discovered.
There's coping with loss, dementia, birth and death, too,
In this touching read, all the way through.

With great characters with whom it is easy to relate,
With more than enough on everybody's plate!
Whilst filled with drama, there's humour in it, too,
And I have no hesitation highly recommending it to you.

For my complementary copy, I say thank you,
As I share with you this, my honest review.

It seems to have become a given…. When I read one of Shari’s One Day stories I just need to share it with someone, anyone! There is so much story and emotion packed into just a day and I end up bursting to tell someone all about it.

One Day with You is about two couples, Tress and Max and Max’s best friend Noah and his wife Anja. Anja and Max work together and have gone off on a trip when Tress goes into labor 3 weeks before her due date. While in labor she is frantically trying to get a hold of Max so he won’t miss the birth, but at the same time trying to stay strong for her unborn baby. Tress was fortunate to have her neighbor Nancy and Nancy’s friend Val (you’ll probably remember her from Shari’s other books) there with her. Max’s best friend Noah, who happens to be a doctor at the hospital, really stepped up too. He was amazing!

There were basically 3 stories entwined in this book, Max and Anja’s trip, the early labor and Nancy’s reunion planned for that evening where she may be re-uniting with her old flame from when she was 16.

I can’t believe how many highs and lows were packed into this one day when Tress is in labor. One minute I was smiling, laughing (mainly thanks to Nancy and Val) and the next I was crying. Literally sobbing! I felt the pain of the characters, the worry and the heartache. I felt like I had lived through it all with all of the characters. I couldn’t ask for anymore!

I waffled back and forth about what to rate this book. I went into it having a fairly good idea what it was about. The writing was very good and I did get invested in what happened to the characters,Tress and Noah especially. However, it was so angsty and sad for so much of the story and Max's parts made me legitimately angry that it didn't feel like the uplifting story that the tagline mentioned. I did like the friendships and how they supported one another, but wished the epilogue had been a bit more fleshed out with some of the joyful moments mentioned in passing.

Oh my goodness, this book was quite beautifully written. I found myself getting immersed in the story from the first chapter.

One Day With You was such an emotional book, masterfully written.

Told over the course of 24 hours, 2 couples have their lives radically changed. As summed up on Goodreads "One Day with You - two fateful goodbyes, two unexpected hellos, and 24 hours that change everything." I can't say it any better than that.

There are numerous perspectives in this book and several main characters. I thought it would be confusing but the author started with a character overview section, which must have helped because I was never confused. I think she named the characters well enough too to eliminate confusion.

This is a story full of heartbreak and joy. I didn't want to put it down. I was worried about the ending, how would she wrap up this complicated love story, but she nailed it.

I’ve read a few books by Shari Low and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed each one. I’m happy to say this one did not disappoint.

I was gripped right from the start. My heart went out to Tress being in labour and worrying about Max missing the birth. Then there was Noah, he was such a kind soul and even though he was going through the worst time he was a rock for Tress.

I loved Nancy she was just hilarious, I’d love her to be my friend. The chapters were told from different POV’s and had times as the book was set in a day.

I didn’t expect to go through all the emotions I did with this book. It was so very sad, but there was humour along the way to brighten the darker moments and also hope.

Shari is a go to author for me and I want to read some of her previous books that I’ve not yet read.

Thank you to Rachel’s Random Resources and the publisher for having me on the tour and for my gifted ebook.

"The characters jump off the page and into your heart!"

From regrets, the what ifs, and fate. Paths converge. The author delves deep into human insights. From friendship, infidelity, past loves, and forgiveness. A rollercoaster ride of emotions. You will laugh and cry. The supporting characters added a bit of laughter blended with sadness and grief.

Full of empathy and charm, the characters face real life, broken relationships, and emotions of happiness, sadness, tragedy, and betrayal —infused with love, friendship, and community. Also, becoming wiser on the other side and second chances.

I thoroughly enjoyed the characters of Nancy and Val, and how their stories connected.

A captivating beautiful, and thought-provoking novel. Well-written, with a vital takeaway. Make the most of your life. Live for today, as we do not know what tomorrow may bring.

I do not read a lot of women's fiction, and ONE DAY WITH YOU was my first book by the author, and I look forward to reading more— for fans of US authors Katherine Center, Debbie Macomber, and Elizabeth Berg.
