I always have a hard time writing reviews for books that are in the middle of a series. It’s a struggle to convey how you feel about something and not give anything away. With that said I really enjoyed this book. The Wild Cards are trying even more dramatic and desperate things to upset the system and I’m here with them for it. I still love the relationship between Aiden and Kevin and I wish nothing but the best for them. Aiden has a really rough time in this book and my heart just bleeds for him.

You learn a lot more about Tweak in this book. I think she’s hands down my favorite character in this story. I like that we got a ton of POV chapters from her so you can really see how she ticks.

This story is action packed and exciting and wonderful. The pacing wasn’t my favorite (it seems like 98% of the story was planning for the main mission 1% was the mission and 1% was the aftermath) but I still loved this so much.

There isn’t much spice but ho boy is it good when it comes around.

Overall I highly recommend this book and this series and I can’t wait to read the rest of it.
