ARC received in return for an honest review

The book follows Gwen who is tipping her toe back into the world of dating after splitting with a long-term partner. She goes on many first dates (though they never make it to a second) and then they start turning up dead.

It was a decently paced book which I finished in an evening, some of the twists were quite predicable but it was enjoyable nevertheless.

If you’re after an easy, quick, enjoyable read - this is a great option

For a book with a heaping body count this is actually a very funny and light read!
The combination of slightly desperate singleton with a bad relationship behind her and a number of meaningless dates from an app and the mysterious Parker, who seems to be following Gwen and killing her unwanted dates is very clever and although you think you can see where the plot is going it has a magnificent twist at the end!

A good contemporary mystery that leaves you on the edge of your seat! Great writing style and the humour was on point to my liking.

A crime mystery with comic elements. The premise was great, a young woman's dates are murdered. However, the characters were underwritten in favour of the story. Despite some serious aspects ie murder, the novel was very light and frivolous.

The premise of the book is fantastic, dating is hellish!

This book is light and has humour throughout. It is classed as a mystery/thriller but is much much lighter than that.

I think this is a book more aimed at the general light fiction market and for this reason I didn’t really enjoy it hugely.

I would recommend this to anyone that is considering a thriller but hasn’t read on before, a really nice compromise.

Gwen lives in Eastbourne, with her best friend Sarah, who is about to get married to Richard, but Gwen doesn't like him. Gwen has recently broken up with Noah, her long-term boyfriend, and is using Connector to meet new dates. None of them go well, and then one of them is found murdered. The investigating officer turns out to be her schoolfriend's brother. Gwen is a suspect in the murder investigation, but still manages to get DI Lyons to follow up on her ideas. It's all a bit far-fetched, and flippant. Noah's disappearance doesn't get explained.

This book is one that most mystery books fans will really enjoy.
The plot had so many twists and turns I couldn’t put the book down
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery or thriller.

It’s an incredibly quirky kind of book. Unique, clever, funny - definitely gives a different spin on your typical serial killer read. This will
be a fun summer book - one you will see on all the sun loungers! Will be recommending!

Fresh in the midst of Valentines, I started reading Don't Swipe Right on Valentines day. Not only was it topical but the book is set on the lead up to Gwen's best friends wedding on February 14th.

Following a fairly recent break up, Gwen is dipping her toe in the dating pool using online apps to meet new people. She is quickly realising that it's slim pickings. But the biggest shock comes when one of her dates, Rob is found dead in the local park.

After finding messages on the dating app from Gwen, the police want to speak her as she may have been one of the last people to speak to him alive. But then Freddie - her date from the following night is found dead too..

In my opinion this book is extremely plot driven - I enjoyed the characters but they were relatively flat with only the barest of back story.

As a thriller, this definitely meets he whodunnit criteria - I was kept guessing all the way through!

This book kept you guessing until the final few pages. I was gobsmacked when you find out who the killer was. Book was amazing. Can’t wait to read another one of the authors books

I absolutely blitzed through this book. I loved Gwen - I’d love to be her friend!! I loved the concept of the MC going from serial dating to serial killer, or at least that’s how it seems to be going down. It’s such a fun, laugh-out-loud murder mystery. I did not guess the twist at the end and I loved it! It kept me gripped throughout as I just had to know what was going on.

I actually can’t believe this is a debut novel, it’s so well thought out! Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be on the look out for other books this author publishes.

Don’t Swipe Right is a brilliant read about the hazards of using dating apps. It was funny, witty, and a real view of dating in society today…maybe minus the murders! I don’t want the book to end, I really did love it.

This was a brilliant take on a classic styled novel. With twists and turns, it provides an interesting outlook on every day experiences.

Thank you, Head of Zeus & NetGalley for this ARC!

I've been looking for something similar to Bella Mackie's, How to Kill Your Family, so when I looked at this year's new releases & saw this & then saw it on NetGalley saying it was perfect for fans of How to Kill Your Family, I knew I had to read it & I read this in an evening as I just couldn't put it down!

This book has the perfect blend of humour and fast-paced, gripping & twisty plot that I would recommend to everyone!

Every time I thought I knew who the killer was, I would have the rug pulled from under me & be back guessing who else it could be. I thought I had it nailed at one point but then, nope. I had no clue until the very reveal & was utterly shocked! I loved it & loved that it wasn't predictable like some murder mystery novels can become.

Starting out, I did worry that some of the characters might end up being annoying, filler, or just poorly developed, but that wasn't the case! I thought all the characters were perfectly crafted & flawed in a way that made them totally likable & relatable, in my opinion, there wasn't a badly written character at all, even the dislikeable dates.

The fact that this is a debut novel is insane & if this is anything to go by then I think I might have found one of my new favourite authors.

I love a good Murder mystery/thriller so this was right up my street. It’s not an idea I’ve seen before so enjoyed the new spin on it. There were a couple of times I thought I’d cracked it before another twist in the story sent me in another direction. I enjoyed the characters - particularly Gwen and Aubrey. It isn’t heavy on the gore so perfect for those that are a bit squeamish but still love this genre, and perfect for those that might be new to the genre. Would also be great for people who are just graduating from teen/YA into adult books as again, it’s not too heavy.

This was a great, fun and easy read. We follow our main character Gwen as she receives grange messages on a dating app and discovers that the men she has recently been on dates with are turning up dead. This is an intriguing and entertaining mystery thriller with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing and suspecting new characters. Really enjoyable escapist read!

This was a great read. I started it one evening and found I couldn’t put it down. It drew me in quickly and I was desperate to keep reading to get to the end. I was sure that I had guessed the twist, but the ending was unexpected. An easy thriller and one that I’d definitely recommend.
