I love this book. Not only did I enjoy the illustrations, I learned interesting new information about my favorite four-legged friends. I thought I was pretty knowledgeable about cats, but this book was filled with things I did not know and was surprised to learn. This book was fun and a complete pleasure. Princess Fuzzypants here: Books with cat facts and trivia are always interesting for the crazy cat ladies and cat gentlemen out there. We are such fascinating creatures and this book is filled with fun bits and bobs. There are some important facts so that the reader knows what to do and why to do it. We cats have such an arduous task of training our humans with much remedial work required. A book like this could be an important resource for our human minions.

It is also filled with lots of fun stuff and some great pictures. Four purrs and two paws up.

I've read a lot of 'cat trivia' books so much of the content in this book was familiar to me but I still enjoyed it. Cats are fascinating creatures and any cat lover will find great tidbits of information here.

A lot more than the expected trivia book, this covers cats from ancient Egypt to Hollywood, but also packs in a welter of information about the species – their habits, their biology, and what we should be doing to look after them in our homes. Yes, if you've read books of cat trivia before some of this will be familiar, and if you are an expert owner some will be preaching to the converted, but of the amount of books on this subject this is by far the most encyclopaedic I've seen. For the right owner, really something to cherish. And for the animals concerned, too detailed as regards their health and well-being to ever really be called trivia. Four and a half stars.

This is a very okay read for me. It provided lots of information about cats, even though most of it are kind of not new anymore for cat parents like I am. I think this would be more beneficial to people who haven't had a pet yet, especially a cat, who are contemplating if they should care for one.

Okay, who doesn't love a book that gives you all these little fun facts about cats?

As someone who only recently obtained her first feline family member - this book gave me some really interesting insight into my little furry friend.

The target audience of this book is obviously people who love cats. So the fun and interesting info - great. Cat breeds - ok. Cat breeders - unnecessary. Violence or negativity towards cats in any way even a historical reference - unwanted.

I learned some useful information about cats from this book, as well as plenty of fun trivia facts. The graphics were engaging and kept my eyes busy as well as my mind as I read. While much of the advice covers basics that I already knew, there is definitely something for everyone as it covered a wide array of topics, advice, and history. It doesn't need to be read in order- just flip to a page and discover what there is to be found! It is an entertaining book as well as helpful, and long enough to keep the reader occupied for several reading sessions.

Engaging collection o information about cats. It's best read in bits and pieces because it's largely unorganized.

This book is so elaborate - there’s facts about so many different explanations of cat behavior, taking care of cats, how to read their signals and so on. It is filled with little paragraphs, which makes it easy to read, even if you don’t have a lot of time to spend on it each reading session.
Every page has photos of cats (which a cat lover obviously enjoys), to help with the explanation.

The only thing I didn’t enjoy was that because of the organization of information in this book (all the little paragraphs), the information was quite chaotic.

This book is outstanding. Contains so many short interesting facts about cats of all types - including big cats like tigers etc, Mostly focused on domesticated cats and everyone is sure to learn something. I read this book in electronic format and it was beautifully illustrated -- I need to get the hard copy! A great coffee table book or book for families to peruse.

This book is stuffed full of information on cats, and as a life long cat lover, even I learned a few new things! The info is honestly almost overwhelming. There's just so much going on on each page, and some of it isn't very cohesive and jumps from topic to topic at times. The design is set up to look like a scrapbook, and where I understand the design choice, I feel the execution is messy and the colours make it feel dated. That said, it's still super informative and great for any new or old cat lover :)

It was a good collection for those who are wondering lots of things about cats. As I'm studying to work with dogs and cats, I knew almost all of the facts and infos here (except some US based stories), so I sadly didn't learn much from it. But it will definitely benefits to the new owners or those wanting more fun facts on them!

The only bad thing is, this book is extremely messy. It's stated in the introduction, but I couldn't imagine actually why they'd talk about one thing at page 20 and then continue on the infos at page 120, like for the claws or the litters parts. It doesn't feel very professionnal (and I also do hope the final ebook quality is better because the quality was really low and it hurts to read).

I think this book was an interesting read, and there were many tidbits of information that I didn’t know. With that being said, I didn’t realize the amount of content that would be included in this book about specific topics, such as breed info and training info. Having a cat myself, if your cats doesn’t want to participate, they won’t, end of story! Overall, this was a good book and I appreciated the opportunity to receive an advance copy from NetGalley and the publisher.

I really enjoyed this, the book makes an excellent reference book. The photos are lovely and the information would suit adults and children. The information was interesting and also useful, I also loved the history facts added in and how cats have affected culture. I would recommend this for cat lovers and also for parents looking at getting a cat with children.

There was so much information in this book, from the most basic advice for caring for a cat, all the way through obscure factoids and grains of wisdom. Anyone reading this book is bound to walk away better educated and more enlightened by the time they are through.
