Thanks to Netgalley and First Second Books for the ARC of this!

I think this is the best of the series! It kept up the cute illustrations and playful dialogue, as well as having an adorably heart-warming storyline. Great for kid who are working on their drawing and storytelling.

Instead of the energetic adventure of the previous book, this volume is more reflective, with a layer of sadness and loneliness. It’s an odd choice, not quite in the mood of the previous books, but perhaps more reflective of cartooning as a practice, particularly over the last few years.

Absolutely WOW, this book is amazing. This is such a great way to explain how to draw worlds in cartooning. I’m upset I just never knew about these authors’ books before! Love the story and the ending was great.

Thank you to NetGalley and First Second Books for the advance copy for review.

Adventures in Cartooning is back! This time the knight wants us to learn about how the setting is important to the story. After reading the comic dive in and make your own setting.

Sure to be a hit in any classroom!

Instructional and entertaining heart-warming story of friendship while learning how to create your own cartoons! This one focuses on using your imagination and basic shapes to make different backgrounds.

This was such a fun read. I really enjoyed the story combined with the illustrations to give the reader ideas and inspiration of how to create their own world alongside the characters. This book emphasizes the idea that the world created might not be perfect the first time, and that is ok because you can try again.
This is a very fun read with illustrations that are clear, bright, and dialogue that is interactive and fun to read.
