Compelling sequel! I love the focus on a new couple, but still getting an overall combined plot from these books! Love that there is a story going on between them both while getting all the romance!

** spoiler alert **
While I did like Misfit a lot more, Rogue was still very addicting. I thought there would be more romance/angst but the pull for me was the mystery of what happened to Casey. I have to say, I'm 2 books in and STILL don't totally know what happened, so that's kind of frustrating.

Romantically I didn't really see it with Fenn and Casey, and I was oddly rooting for Lawson who came out of left field. Also, Lawson is one of my favorite characters from this series! There was so much push and pull with Fenn and Casey, it just didn't feel like they were destined to be together. Also Fenn being totally ok with what happened with Lawson seemed so out of character for a guy, I just couldn't buy it.

Slone was super annoying in this book. She was alright in book 1, but man I couldn't take her in Rogue!

Overall , I really like this book. It was a solid 4. But I feel like more loose ends could have been tied up, and I'm hoping to see Casey pursue things with Lawson and see where that goes.

OMG ADDICTING.
This is a fun, twisty, and heartpounding series from the ever amazing Elle Kennedy. I really have no idea where the series i going next.

3.5 rounded up

This picks up right where the first one left off. I don’t think this can be read as a stand-alone. You would be pretty confused with all the characters and backstories. I enjoyed all the POVs, but some of them seemed unnecessary. Most of the loose ends were wrapped up, but the end did leave things for a possible third book. This was more YA compared to other books by Elle Kennedy. Definitely not as steamy. I liked the gossip girl type story with the mystery.

Elle Kennedy is one of my favorite authors and I absolutely love the start to this new series and happy she's back with New Adult books.

Rogue is a highly entertaining, delectable treat that is one fantastic addition to what is ultimately turning out to be an absolutely binge-worthy, scandalous Prep series by Kennedy. The romance in this, was everything I could have hoped for!!

I expected this to be just one sex scene after the other but I was actually hooked on the storyline. I really liked the different characters, and the author handed me a cliffhanger that’s got me waiting for the next book.

This book has it all: two guys who don’t know each other at all become stepbrothers and wind up going to boarding school together. RJ meets Sloane and is immediately attracted to her. But she’s the headmasters daughter and there’s no way that’s going to fly.

There is a little bit of a mystery in the book: what happened to Casey, Sloane’s sister? She’s quite obviously going to be the heroine of a future book, and I must say I’m looking forward to it.

There were a couple of gratuitous sex scenes that IMHO didn’t need to be there although I’m sure they are the basis for a future story. I still enjoyed the story, and I will definitely read a few more of the Prep series.

Thanks to Sourcebooks for the ARC. All opinions on my own.

Elle Kennedy can really do no wrong as I have said time and time again and this book was no different. I do have to admit that it took me a while to get into this book, I wasn't totally in love with the first 20% of the book but it definitely got so much better! I love it when I get to see characters that I have loved in the first book and get to see their relationships grow, just like how we got to see Casey and Fenn's relationship take a lot of twists and turns in this book!

4/5 ⭐️ OVERALL
2.5/5 🌶 STEAM

I really love the multi POV in this series. I like getting everyone’s thoughts other than the MCs and I think its truly unique and a breath of fresh air.

The main characters in Rogue are Casey and Fenn and their story, in my opinion, didn’t disappoint. I was excited to get to the bottom of the drama surrounding Casey’s accident. I enjoyed how Elle Kennedy delivered the story and she executed it well.

Casey and Fenn’s love story is a bit angsty considering everything that is thrown in their direction. But, love always prevails even in the hardest of times. And that’s exactly the definition of their love story.

I’m really hoping for a third book and I’m honestly dying for a MM romance novel for Lawson and Silas. Anyone else with me??

I’m definitely recommending this series to all my friends needing some DRAMA, ANGST, and ROMANCE in their life.

Great follow up to Misfit! Loved Casey and Fenn's story with the other POV's mixed in. It was easy to follow.
Loved the character development throughout the novel. Both characters grew so much.
The development of the mystery of what happened on prom night was amazing.
Story is very enjoyable. Lots of angst and drama, similar to the first novel in the series.
All in all, would highly recommend!

I'm a definite fan of Elle Kennedy's books but I didn't realise that this was the second in a new series of books from her.
While you can read this without having read the first in the series, I wish I had read them in order to get the most from them.
I liked the prep school setting, which was nice departure from her sports based romances. There's also that trademark Elle Kennedy steam, which I always enjoy.
It definitely gave me Gossip Girl vibes, in a very good way. However, I wasn't the biggest fan of Casey. Having her be the lead definitely detracted from my enjoyment a bit, which was unfortunate.
There were also possibly too many POVs for me.
But I will certainly be going back and reading the first in the series and looking forward to a third.
Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I loved being back in the Sandover prep universe. This is book 2 in the series and it picks up right where book 1 leaves off (so definitely read the books in order). I really enjoyed how this book centered around solving the mystery that was briefly touched on in the first book. It was also nice to go deeper and learn more of the back stories of so many of the characters. Can’t wait for book 3!

This was a departure for me a Elle Kennedy book because I’ve mostly read her sports romances. Saying that I all I loved this book so much. It’s a prep school romance, which has politics and intrigue, and is steamy as well. There are also family dynamics out, play being that, the main characters, mother married a rich man, which is why he now goes to this prep academy with his step brother. Of course, he falls for the principles daughter, which just makes everything more exciting and interesting throughout the book. I cannot wait until the next book in the series

If you liked the drama of gossip girl then this is the book for you. The book features multiple point of views. Although it can be read as a stand alone I highly recommend you read Misfit first as a lot of elements from that book carry over to Rouge. This books main focus is Fenn and Casey.

Thank you to publisher for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Rogue is part 2 of Elle Kennedy's Prep Series. I would recommend reading Misfit first and then this one as there is a lot of character development in the first book and Rogue picks up right where Misfit left off with a cliffhanger. Rogue focuses on Casey who survived a horrible car accident the year before leaving prom. She has very little memory of what happened and who she was with. Someone drugged her, drove her car into a pond, pulled her out and left her to die. Since the accident Casey had found friendship with Fenn Bishop. Unfortunately Fenn has a secret about prom night that may very well destroy their relationship.

I read Misfit and was immediately hooked, especially with the massive cliffhanger at the end. I couldn't wait to get my hands on Rogue to find out what happened. Kennedy provides a lot of answers to the mystery of Casey's accident in Rogue, but has definitely left it open for a 3rd installment that I'm highly anticipating. I can't wait to find out what happens next!

You'll love this series if:
You enjoyed Gossip Girl
You like Binge-worthy Book Series
You're a sucker for Forbidden Love
You like a good Romantic Mystery

A special thank you to the author, Bloom Books and NetGalley for my arc in exchange for my honest review.

I love how fun and intriguing this book is!! The story is so captivating and I love the multiple pov we get. I can’t believe the ending ahh I need the next one right now!

Well this was an interesting plot. Casey just survived a car accident that nearly cost her life. Everything changed after that faithful day – Casey feels lost and defeated, but she found solace in an unconventional friendship with Sandover’s frat-boy Fenn Bishop. What she did not know is that Fenn was hiding a secret of the night Casey almost die. What happen when the truth comes to light? Will Casey and Fenn’s relationship survive the secrets and lies? This stories is told in multiple POV but the main characters are Casey and Fenn. I enjoy the friendship development between the two main characters. The mystery and excitement surround the accident. You gotta be in the mood for young adult genre – drama- rama, gossips, rumors, twist and turn bullies and playboys, so not a tons of romance as a result. You also need to read Misfit first, sort of standalone but continuing story with all the characters. I enjoyed Misfit better. If you are in the mood for prep-school drama, angst, teen romances this is for you.
