This is a good book. The two main characters are Charlie and Emerson. Charlie meets Emerson when she goes to his office to get her half of the deposit for the apartment. He gives her a check. Several days later he goes to where she works and offers her a job. There is an instant attraction. They each have their differences but together they work them out and fall in love.

I truly enjoyed this book, which is my first by Sara Cate. The cover and the title grabbed my attention, and the story kept me interested the whole way through. Enough time was given to establish a relationship between the various characters, and the push and pull of their romance felt realistic. Outside factors drove them together and apart in turn, and I found I was as interested in the plot as I was in the dynamic between these two. The secondary characters were interesting as well, and I look forward to seeing their stories develop throughout the series.

I devoured this book. Charlie just broke up with her boyfriend, Beau, and to get her deposit back on their place she has to get to his father get it back. Emerson mistakes Charlie for a new girl to be his assistant and things get heated quickly. I will say it took me a minute to get into but once Emerson caves and Charlie became his assistant I was hooked. I loved how all the tropes were fit into the story--the age gap between Emerson and Charlie, the forbidden romance between them and trying to stay away from one another and keeping their sorted affair from, Emerson's son/Charlie's ex, Beau. Plus the steamy! Omg I had never read a Sara Cate book before and I was instantly a fan and throughly satisfied. I loved this and I plan to continue with the series.

This was hot, spicy and absolutely everything I needed! I got so invested that I couldn't put it down. Emerson and Charlie were perfect for each other. I loved that everything was safe and consensual. I can't wait to read Garrett's book next.

I did have difficulty liking the Charlie, although I love a good daddy issues I felt she compared Emerson way to much to the lack of dad. I am super excited to see the rest of the series.

Sara Cate writes the best smut out there. It's steamy and passionate and this book was no exception. This had mt heart rate spiked and my cheeks flushed. Another stellar read by her.

When meeting him changes her whole world. He’s the owner of a kink club and he is handsome as hell. When she stops by for the money he takes her as his new submissive, quickly catching the mistake and trying to fix it he offered her a job as a secretary. Things quickly heat up between the two but crossing lines becomes a sticky situation.
This book was gorgeous, written so well. I absolutely enjoyed their forbidden love. In my option the romance was the perfect amount of timing, not right off the bat and not super slow burn to bore you. The pacing of this book was fantastic. For anyone if need of a spicy forbidden romance this is absolutely it!

this was such a fun, quick, steamy read! i love the way it discussed the kink/bdsm community and i felt like i learned a lot about sexuality. it covered sensitive issues with great care too! emerson and charlotte's dynamic was to die for and they so easily melded together! i can't wait to read more in this series!

I really enjoyed this book! It was a quick read and I like when spicy books "jump" right into it (after all, we're all here for the spicy scenes). I enjoyed all the characters, even Beau. This is the first Sara Cate novel I've read and will definitely be reading more!

I really enjoyed Praise by Sara Cate!! I was instantly drawn in and this book became hard to set down. I loved the dynamic between Charlotte and Emerson and the growth these characters have throughout the book. Also, who doesnt love an age gap, "I'm now dating my ex's dad" romance??? Praise was pretty smutty and had a lot going on since Emerson is a dom and Charlotte becomes his sub. I will say after reading Praise I binged the whole series and IT ONLY GETS BETTER!! I would recommend this book to anyone looking for an age-gap, taboo, heavy dom-sub/BDSM romance!!

This author has a unique way to write dark-ish and taboo romances that is also full of love. Her books are just on the line between erotica and love stories, and I love that. This book here is one of them.

Praise is an erotic age-gap story that really drew me in. I wasn't expecting the story to be as interesting as it is and because of this I have continued to read the series. The relationships in this series are deeper than sex and very interesting.
