Rachel Griffin does it again. It's not shocking that I adored Bring Me Your Midnight as I have loved Griffin's previous titles. The beautiful prose and relationship each character goes through, along with the emotional inner turmoil has me flipping each page.

This is a solid YA romantasy standalone that is perfect for fans new to this subgenre. Rachel Griffin is great at writing about witches and filling her stories with lots of mesmerizing lore. The atmosphere is both gothic and enchanting which I love. I really loved learning about the setting and the magic in this world. Tana and Wolfe as a couple are cute but I was not totally sold on this deep romance or love. I didn't totally buy their romance which was a bit of a let down. I still think this is a good gateway book to exploring more romantic fantasy.

This book is deeply romantic and incredibly witchy. Rachel’s magic systems are always earthy and natural, and I live for it. The characters in this book were also natural and felt like real people. Tana was such a sweet witch and Wolfe was just the right amount of mystery to keep you interested. I also love that there is no true villain in this story. Everyone is just trying to keep peace in a precariously balanced world. Once again, Rachel has crafted a charming tale about the healing of nature and finding where you belong in it. Will recommend to everyone.

A deeply atmospheric & romantic, Bring Me Your Midnight is another hit from Rachel Griffin! On an island full of witches, Tana is to marry the son of the mainland's governor in hopes that it can mend the torn relationship between the two communities. However, once she meets Wolfe, Tana's eyes open to an entire world and truth that she hadn't known.

Like most of Griffin's characters, Tana is so easy to love & you can't help but respect her dedication to her community, but root for her to give in to the budding connection she grows to have with Wolfe! Definitely an enjoyable read, and cements Griffin as a must read.

To be completely honest, I’m not sure where to start this review. There are so many different things I feel I need to gush about all at once! Having read The Nature of Witches and Wild is the Witch, it’s no surprise that I enjoyed this one, but I never expected to find what I found in this book. ⁣

This story is written so beautifully at points it almost feels like it’s written in prose. The imagery of a realistic but whimsical Witchery, the characters’ connection to the ocean, and some of the rawest relationships of any book I’ve read this year had me devouring this one long past midnight.

I absolutely loved Tana and Wolfe and the delicate way their connection develops. All the Peter and Wendy vibes for me and I was hooked from the very first moment. Plus Rachel Griffin always manages to write at least one character in a book that makes me rage uncontrollably. I absolutely cannot recommend it enough.

This story is just beautiful. It is everything I wanted and didn’t know I needed in a book. The story starts on an island full of witches, who are trying to maintain peace with the mainland. In order to help make this possible our FMC, Tana has been promised to the governors son since birth. INSERT WOLFE….swooning. Wolfe sees Tana in a way no one else ever has. What she questioned about herself, he sees as powerful and beautiful. With Wolfe, she starts the explore parts of herself she has never left loose…but that magic if forbidden and she is the key to peace with the main land.

This book is so romantic, enchanting, and makes you believe you are in another world. This book was just WOW, I cannot recommend it enough. Tana is such an amazing strong character, who stays true to herself no matter what(no spoilers!!!!)

Tanna has been raised using magic and knows that her role in the world is to help to bring peace between her coven and the rest of the world. Her life has been planned for her, but when a chance meeting with a strange boy makes her see the world another way, she has to decide between following her heart and her duty to her family and coven. Wolfe is an unexpected twist in her life and the way that their interactions are crafted is just beautiful to read. Griffin writes another beautiful story and the way she creates these worlds filled with magic and passion and emotion, make her a must read author for me. I enjoyed reading this book but it was hard to get into at first, i personally didn’t like the arranged marriage aspect but overall i did like the story between Tana and Wolfe and the higher magic. I wouldn’t say that this would be my favorite book by this author but i still enjoyed it.

Bring Me Your Midnight is one of my most anticipated releases of this year, and it didn’t disappoint! Rachel Griffin is a master of the YA fantasy romance, and I will read everything she writes.

The magic in this book is beautiful, as are the characters and the setting. I don’t usually say this, but I wish this book was even longer so I could read more about Tana and Wolfe ❤️

The last third of this book absolutely ripped me apart, but as usual Rachel Griffin’s writing is so healing and cozy that I had happy tears in my eyes at the end. The beginning is a little slow, which is probably why I didn’t get the elusive five star ~vibe,~ but it definitely pays off in the end.

I’m so excited for everyone to read this book! 4.5 stars

Be still my heart. The characters within this book are so easy to fall in love with. Aside from the fact that this is a beautiful enemies to lovers story, it also has the most tender relationship between father and daughter. Samuel is the one of the most encouraging, level-headed and gentle Dad’s that I have encountered in a book — it reminded me in many ways of the relationship I have with me own Dad. It was so heartwarming to see represented.

Back to our beloved characters — Mortana is such a naive young woman… so full of hope and desperately wanting to do the right things as to not disappoint her family, friends and coven. I feel that her desperation to make her family, mainly her mother, proud is something that is so deeply rooted in many of us. The desire to make decisions that tend to make others happy in front of your own happiness. This book beautifully conveys the internal struggle of following your heart and doing what others feel is best for you. Then you have my dear sweet Wolfe, so much anger and torment and sadness. What more do we love other than a dark haired, brooding guy? Each layer that is peeled away from his story leaves your heart aching for him just a little more.

Bring Me Your Midnight was beautiful and sad and hopeful and heartbreaking all wrapped into one enchanting story. This is my second book by Rachel Griffin and I plan to read the one I haven’t yet read and any book so releases in the future. Another auto buy author has made their way into my heart. Strong Covens, Light Magic, Dark Magic, Magical Shops and a deep connection to the sea — this book will leave your heart aching. Perfect for those who love Witch Stories, Enemies to Lovers, Found Family and Strong Friendships.

Tana’s always known what’s expected of her — her future on the island she’s been born and raised on has been painstakingly mapped out by her mother ever since she was a child. her only real refuge is the ocean and how it calls to her — but even the magic she draws from it is tightly controlled, with strict rules in place, as has always been so, long ago decried by the island’s only coven.

Beautiful, lyrical, and lushly hypnotic. I fell in love with the wilds of the Witcher instantly. Tana and Wolfe’s story is so romantic, I know I’ll keep coming back to read this one every summer

I love stories about witches and this author seems to be writing about only witches. I read The Nature of Witches but haven’t read Wild is the Witch yet. I decided to give this one a chance because I thought The Nature of Witches had so much potential but I just didn’t totally love it.

I like the concept of Bring Me Your Midnight. The story is full of magic, romance, and a difficult choice that Mortana (Tana) has to make. I thought the world building was very interesting and I liked how the townspeople had their own magic that they used for their trade of business. Mortana’s family made perfumes and her best friend Ivy made tea infused with magic. I like how their magic was useful.

Mortana is the chosen witch who is supposed to unite the mainlanders and witches into a unified front by an arranged marriage. Landon seems nice enough but through this book we really don’t get to know him at all. Mortana is a nice girl, a good girl, who falls for a mysterious, handsome boy. It’s a forbidden love she has to give up if she wants to be a dutiful daughter to her parents and her community.

I usually love a good witchy romance story, but I found this one just okay. I wanted more from the characters and I didn’t feel like I connected to anyone except maybe for Tana’s best-friend Ivy who had a really strong voice. There was a lot of angst and longing between Tana and Wolfe but I just felt like something was missing intensity and I just couldn’t get invested in them.

I was excited to read this one because the cover is beautiful and I love stories about witches but this one was just okay for me. I like the concept of the story but I wanted more from the characters. I found it hard to get invested in their story. I did like how Tana had to face a hard choice between duty and love because we get to see her struggle and grow. She also stands strong in trying to get the truth from her mother about their magic, powers and history. So I thought it was nice to see her grow and be able to choose love in the end. This may have fallen a little flat to me but I think a lot of other people will love this story.

I have loved everything Rachel Griffin has written, and Bring Me Your Midnight may just be her best work yet! If you’re a fan of forbidden romance, the ocean, and unique magic systems then you absolutely need this book in your life!

Rachel Griffin is a master at capturing an atmospheric setting. The descriptions of Tana’s island were so vivid, and the connection between magic and the natural world contributed to the setting beautifully. Griffin crafts her prose with the same lyrical precision that she writes her spells with and I ended up highlighting paragraphs at length because I was so enamored with the passages. Perhaps my favorite part of the novel though, was watching Tana and Wolfe’s story unfold. The angst level was perfect and the forbidden nature of their relationship heightened the tension. This is an exquisite romantic fantasy, filled with lush imagery and I am already excited for finished copies to release so I can read it again.

When she misses the rush, she finds a man she’s never seen before, Wolfe, who helps her with his dark magic. Mortana must make a choice between choosing duty or love.

This story was captivating from the very beginning and fast paced. The writing was just beautiful and truly sucks you into the story. Rachel Griffin gives up the perfect atmospheric read with The Witchery, a beautifully gothic PNW island full of witches, small shops with hanging wisteria growing everywhere and cobblestone roads. Tana is only 19 turning 20 and I felt for her. Never thinking about herself until she accidentally finds something she wasn’t looking for that made her feel, made her question her whole life and everything she believed in. She deals with shame and guilt and what comes with trying to decide what’s right for you when there’s bigger stakes at risk. I loved everything about this book!

Hawke was so dreamy. I loved his world and his determination in his way of life and preserving it and how he was open to try new things as well. Their romance was forbidden and I loved every midnight minute of it. Inadvertently with Wolfe’s help, Tana discovers lies to things she was told to be true growing up. Their chemistry together was perfect. This was such a beautiful and angsty read! Definitely recommend for any fantasy romance lover!

I am so thoroughly obsessed with this book, you do not even understand. Pacific northwest beach/witch vibes?? Immaculate. This book has all the atmosphere, witch lore, forbidden love, enemies to lovers, etc. that we are all obsessed with. Wolfe Hawthorne has my heart completely

This book left me speechless a couple of times. Rachel Griffin's writing is just beautiful. The imagery and her way with words create this stunning world of magic. I have love each book Rachel Griffin has written. I believe she is one of the only authors i have read all of her books so far.

In this beautiful story, Tana is a witch living on an island across from the mainland. Her marriage has been arranged since she was young. She is to Mary Landon the governor of the mainlands son. This will bring honor and protection to the island and the witch's that call it home. Tana's mother is the head of the coven where they live. Tana's mother and father both expect her to marry Landon.

However, soon Tana meets Wolfe and her life is flip upside down. Dark magic that was once thought to be gone from the island is still being practiced. So many things that Tana's was taught aren't true?

Will Tana choose the life that set her free or will honor and obligation ultimately win?

I really enjoyed this! The writing flowed very well and it was easy to read. The pacing of events made reading this exciting but not overwhelming as not too much information was given at once. The imagery was incredible as well. I felt like I was right there on the island with Tana and Wolfe!
