This is a cute Graphic Novel. I like the cover thats what drew us to pick up and take a look at the cover is cute and her hair is giving fabulous. This reminds me of tinker bell the movie. the sprites take care of the flowers before humans started to take over and do the gardening and their not good at it. So the sprites just lounge around and relax. Wisteria is the main character she just arrived in town and feels uneasy trying to enter the friend group with the other sprite so she goes around and gets a feel for the place when things happen. the gardener is a little girl trying to plant pants lol and wisteria sees that the plants arent doing well and wants to help and make her smile by helping even though all the sprite feel like they were fired from their job of gardening. A tiny little helper. The drawings are beautiful i feel like in some places they could have introduced a different color to break it up in some pictuers but over all its a cute book for younger or elementry kids even middle grade too. bought a copy for my nephew.

This story is sweet, simple, and well-told. The artwork is quite pretty and complementary to the overall vibe of the piece.


There could have stood to be the tiniest bit more conflict—everything has a neat bow on it by the end—but I think for the purposes of the themes and moral it works fine.

This was such a cute little story! The idea that gardens are grown because of the help from sprites has always been a magical one to me. That concept paired with the whimsical art makes THE SPRITE AND THE GARDENER an amazing graphic novel!

This book reminded me a lot of tinker bell. Specifically the Disney Movie version. It was super cute and magical. The art, OMG AMAZING. The whole story feels very light, colorful and happy. However, it really is about the sprite finding herself in her new friendship. Like Tinker Bell, the sprite is told by all those around her that they don't do that anymore so she treads her own path and I love that so much. This is a great read if you just want something quick, cute, and happy.

The Sprite and the Gardener has been on my tbr for a while so when I found it on netgalley I jumped into the pool headlong. I'm not going to do a very long review because I don't think there's much to say either, but this comic is pure magic. It is sweetness, tenderness, feeling how the drawing and the details of each page capture you completely. It is not wanting to turn the page because of how beautiful the colors are, it is looking at how the author plays with them, it is noticing how your heart becomes softer and softer while the connection between the two protagonists becomes stronger and more beautiful.

It is finishing the comic without being able to stop smiling, and feeling how happy your heart is while you think about the story you just read. I am very happy to have discovered this comic, these characters and this author, and that they have left me with such a beautiful feeling!

The Sprites used to control the blooming of the flowers, the leafing of the trees and all the beauty that nature spreads but when humans came they took over the task. It goes like that until one day the Sprite Wisteria grows restless and bored. She finds a human struggling with a garden and she does what she can to help the struggling plants. In the end the Sprites decide that can work in tandem with the humans to build a healthy and thriving land.

The story was good but a bit rushed. A deeper dive in the history of the Sprites would have been nice but overall it was a cute story. The artwork was also gorgeous which really helped tell the story. It left me with a huge smile and hoping for a possible sequel.

This was cute story. I did love the artwork, I thought it very well done. Overall it was very one dimensional and not much happened. I would’ve liked some more backstory on the sprites and maybe more dialogue between them. Not much plot going on but it was overall a nice story.

This graphic novel was a lovely short and sweet story about a sprite and a gardener working together to rebuild a forgotten garden. The art in this one is so beautiful and magical and it was such a cozy little story. I would have loved it to be a little longer and more developed but I can see this being a perfect one to read with or to younger children given its short length and simple storyline.

The story of trying to rebuild. I loved this book so much that I had already read it three times before getting approved for the review copy. It is sweet and the art is adorable. I really enjoyed everything about this book and will be buying a physical copy. I really enjoyed it.

Follow along with sprite, Wisteria, as her and her human companion, Elena, re-kindle the roles sprites played in the distant past as shepherds of the plant world. This graphic novel is filled with a cute and heartwarming story and lovely graphics to dazzle you.

Personally, I would have liked to see a longer story of conflict overcome. But if you’re looking for a quick read and little conflict, this beautiful story may be for you.

Whimsical little story of garden sprites. Fluffy, feel good vibes. I’ll keep an eye out this spring for little fairies when my garden begins to bloom ☺️

This was surprisingly cute! I wanted to pick it up because I thought the cover was pretty and the illustration lives up because the entire book is gorgeous! Such an adorable book about asking for help, fairies, and gardening. It reminded me somewhat of Kay O'Neil's books with a wholesome coziness that I can never have enough of.

First off the art is absolutely gorgeous! I loved the colour palette and the way the characters are drawn.

In this graphic novel we follow Wisteria, she's new in town and stumbles upon a human. Sprites used to help gardeners and the environment and wildlife but with the growth of humans they dont need to. Feeling lost Wisteria helps the gardener and learns what her purpose is and develops and explores her powers to help Elena, the gardener revitalize her mother's garden.

I really enjoyed the story but I did feel like it could have been developed a bit better in some areas. But I enjoyed the message and especially the art. It was a very cozy read that I think will delight any reader.

I enjoyed the artwork of this book but I just couldn’t get into this story. It felt all over the place and I felt lost when reading it. I DNF’d at about 60%.

Wisteria is new in town, and as a sprite, has always kept out of sight of humans. But when she discovers a human desperate to make her garden beautiful, she decides to lend a hand, the way sprites of old used to.

This is a charming, beautifully illustrated story about cooperation and community. It reminded me of a Ghibli film, and the art style was a great complement to the lighthearted, cozy story.

I was drawn in by the cover wich is adorable.
We follow the garden sprites wich once a upon a time used to care for all the trees and flowers. Now the humans look after them alone. Wisteria wishes she could be like the old sprits and watch after a garden. So we follow her in achieving that wish.
Overall the graphic novel is cute and wholesome. It focuses on
working together and enjoying it.
The art was beautiful and it gave cozy vibes.
A quick read and perfect for Spring. Or for all who enjoy gardening and growing things.

This book was so gorgeously illustrated and I loved the idea behind it! Of course with it being so short, it couldn't really go into depth on many things, but it was still a cute and wholesome story that I enjoyed reading.
