This book is very short and full of lovely illustrations - in fact, it can be read like an artbook that only has plot in the loosest meaning of the word. Some people compared it to Mucha artworks come to life, and I see where they would get it from!

The Sprite and the Gardener follows a new sprite, Wisteria, as she learns what her purpose is and explores her powers in helping a young gardener, Elena, revitalize her mother's garden. It's a short graphic novel, at less than 90 pages, but it is beautifully illustrated and has a heartwarming storyline.

I loved that all the other sprites were named after flowers, and I loved how Wisteria's character growth ended up bringing together her little community of garden fairies for the benefit of the neighborhood. It felt magical while reading, and it had good messages.

This book felt like an Alphonse Mucha painting come to life - the artwork is literally so beautiful I would frame it and hang it in my room. While the plot wasn't particularly memorable, I would read it again for the color scheme alone.

I needed to read this cute af GN after seeing that beautiful cover and artwork! Unfortunately, that’s the only thing I loved about the book. The artwork was beautiful and the color choices were perfect. But the story had me a bit bored and the ending fell flat.

y’all have no idea how much i loved this book! it was so so adorable and made me tear up! it’s such a comfort read but what annoyed me is that it is really short😭 i wish it was longer and that the world, characters and relationships developed more.. i guess it is like a short story type of thing but i really wanted to read more!

A beautiful graphic novel that manages to juxtapose a wonderful narrative and jaw-dropping illustration throughout.

I'll be honest, I have mostly requested this arc, because the art is so stunning. Both the humans and the sprites are beautifully drawn and so adorable. I loved the sprite's little outfits and how different they were from each other and how they were similar to their respective flowers. It was a feast for the eyes.

The plot, on the other hand, was rather simple. Not in a bad way at all, I rather enjoyed this story about learning to work together no matter the differences but there wasn't much conflict and everything went very smoothly, so this story is low stakes and you won't find any big drama in here. It also felt summed up nicely in around 90 pages.

Sadly due to that even the two main characters barely had any time to shine, not to mention all the colorful side characters we get to see. I didn't feel like I saw enough of them to truly grow to care about them.

Overall, this is a lovely graphic novel that will absolutely make the growing fanbase of the cozy fantasy genre happy. I'd also recommend it to everybody who is looking for a new, sweet story to get their kids.

A sweet and short little story about a sprite who meets a new gardener. I loved Wisteria's interest in the gardener and wanting to help even though she felt she needed to do so in secret. And I loved even more when our Gardener saw Wisteria and they teamed up to bring the garden back to life once more. It was a beautiful story of teamwork and how working together really can make a massive difference. The artwork was beautiful and told the whole story. Plus the limited amounts of text on the page really make you focus on the illustrations. A really beautiful story from cover to cover

The Sprite and the Gardener follows Wisteria, a kind and wymsical flower sprite who lets her curiosity guide her. She asks plenty of questions about what life was like before the humans and what the sprites do now that the humans are everywhere. Wisteria tries to help a garden grow, and maybe make a new friend in the process.

This graphic novel is so cute and the artwork is fabulous. I adored the use of color and the wimsical feel of the artwork. The plot is also very sweet and gave me the warm fuzzy feelings I was hoping for when I requested the ARC. Such a sweet book, I hope there is more to come.

A heartfelt story with a lot of cute, magic and fairies. I would read it some day to my baby, when she gets older.

A very wholesome graphic novel which gives a lot of cosy vibes and beautiful artwork, and is something any age can read.

Oh, my! The Sprite and the Gardener is just THE CUTEST! It generally made my eyes and my heart so very happy, with it's delicate illustrations (so pretty!) and simple yet gorgeously whimsical tale of kindness. So cute, whimsical, and wholesome! The illustrations and color palette was soft and warm, and visually pleasing. The flowers were great and the sprites were adorable and full of so much personality. It was a great little story.

This is such a cute and visually stunning graphic novel! It follows Wisteria, a little sprite, and newcomer to the neighborhood, as she visits gardens and becomes mesmerized by a struggling gardener in need of help. The beautiful color palette and soft illustrations combine to create a lovely whimsical book that many will love. Without giving too much away, the story itself is very sweet and endearing and the sprites, who are all named after plants and flowers, are utterly adorable. I really hope we will see more of them in the future. If you enjoy cozy graphic novels such as the Tea Dragon Society series, I cannot recommend The Sprite and the Gardener enough.
