I love this series, and this latest installment did not disappoint at all.
Willa is hired to set up a cheese bar at a wealthy woman's bridal shower. But, when the groom to be is discovered dead at the shower, things get a bit confusing. Secrets are uncovered, even one that indirectly effects Willa and her future with Roman. Willa and her Team Cheese begin to do some sleuthing, and see what really happened that night.
Love the characters in this series, and I am not disappointed at all in the turn of events for Willa and Roman. Looking forward to the next in the series.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I love a good cozy mystery and am now fully invested in our heroine’s love life. Willa is totally relatable and her cheese shop is my dream. I am constantly hungry when I read these; the descriptions are mouth-watering! So far I also have been relatively surprised by the twists in the story, which I appreciate because cozy mysteries tend to be easy to figure out. I really enjoyed this particular story line, set at an engagement party. The little quips and salty comments that are subtlety written into the banter always make me smirk. The book was totally enjoyable and a quick read. 3.5 ⭐️

Thank you to NetGalley & the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

This is a solid cozy mystery. I strongly suggest you read the previous books in the series as I don’t feel it is a stand-alone in terms of the characters.
The whodunit was well written and kept me entertained.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

This is a fun continuation of the series. However, this book can be enjoyed as a standalone novel. I liked reading more about the characters and seeing their relationships with one another develop. The murder mystery was a good one with an unexpected ending.

3/5
Disclaimer: I haven't read the rest of the books in this series. There are certain spoilers involved if you haven't read the previous books. However, I didn't think it is absolutely necessary to read them in order to enjoy this book. I think it worked well as a stand alone mystery/female sleuth book. The most unique feature of the book that sets it apart from others is the aspect of the cheese shop the main character runs. I really liked the incorporation of the different flavor profiles and pairings of cheese sprinkled throughout. It served as a great levity to make this book super readable. I believe it only took me a day and a half to get through. I mean the main character's ring tone is "sweet dreams are made of cheese" for gods sake. How cute is that? The only reason I didn't rate the book higher was that the mystery wasn't all that complex. I think I was more surprised by the minor mystery of the missing wallet subplot than the actual who done it of the murder. I also felt as though there were too many characters involved. I don't think it made a very cohesive story. If you like the Tita Rosie's Kitchen or the Finlay Donovan series, I think you would really enjoy this series and should definitely give it a go.

Another good book in the series of cheese maker Willa and her group. When they have a table set up at a wedding shower for the richest family in town, she is excited to think of the publicity in a local magazine. Not as exciting though of finding the groom dead in the stables. Good cozy mystery, and must admit I am pleased to see her changing her mind about Roman as a romantic choice. Look forward to the next in the series.

Willa, the owner of Curds and Whey, once again finds herself in the middle of a high-profile murder. Such a good story with interesting characters. I particularly enjoy all the cheese references and ideas and the potential romance between Willa and the detective on the case.
I'm looking forward to the next book in this series to see how it develops!

Providing a cheese bar for Summer Harrington's bridal shower will be a wonderful advertisement
for Willa's shop as the wedding will be featured in All Things Sonoma, a magazine owned by the
Harringtons. Local vendors were recommended by the town mayor who happens to be the groom-
to-be's aunt. Unfortunately the bridal shower never happens due to the appearance of Summer's
former fiance' amd the murder of the groom-to-be.
When Willa is asked by the mayor to investigate her nephew's murder, the tangled relationships
between the suspects makes it difficult. Being caught between the two most influential families in
town puts her business at risk and possibly her life.
Third in the series, it was a delightful read - happy to spend time with Willa and her crew,

Curds & Whey has an amazing opportunity to get some great publicity. Providing cheese for Summer Harrington's wedding will put Willa Bauer's cheese shop in the pages of one of the most popular magazines in Sonoma Valley. Unfortunately the wedding shower doesn't go according to plan and the groom doesn't survive.

There's so much going on in this book. Willa and Roman have hit a rough patch in their budding relationship, Willa's business is on the verge of becoming something of a household name in Sonoma Valley, Mrs. Schultz and Archie are getting closer to their significant others, and of course Willa is on a mission to clear Roman's name after he falls under suspicion of murder.

I really like the main character, Willa. She's a strong, independent woman who owns her own business and has dedicated herself to supporting her new town. Archie, Mrs. Schultz and Baz are great crime-solving partners. I love what's happening in Willa's love life, though we do end with a bit of a cliffhanger as far as that goes.

This is a great series for anyone who likes culinary cozies, just be sure you have some cheese on hand!

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC.

I requested to read and review this book for free from St. Martin Publishing Company. This is the third book in A Cheese Shop Mystery series! I loved it! Such a great book. We get to know more of the characters of Team Cheese Gang. We find out more info on the mayor, Roman and the police department. Trust is a very powerful idea in our lives and what we believe helps shape what we think trust is. How much should you or shouldn't you share with friend or someone else? This book has mystery, drama and some romance. This is for any type of reader and can be read anywhere!

Which is better in these books: the sleuthing or the cheeses? Great series populated with friends to share the sleuthing and some good cops. The publisher's blurb is a good hook, so no need to repeat. Loved it!
I requested and received an EARC from the St. Martin's Press/St. Martin's Paperbacks via NetGalley. Thank you!

Plot: This was another fantastic Cheese Shop Mystery! The mystery was really well written. I also loved the elements not related to the mystery, regarding Willa's personal life. (I have a ship, I think it will sail!) There was a moment towards the end (no spoilers, but not related to the main mystery) that genuinely surprised me, and I did not see it coming at all.

Characters: As always, Willa was a wonderful main character! And I love the other characters in the book, her friends are particularly great.

The Cover: I really like it!

Overall: I loved being back in Yarrow Glen with Willa and the residents of the town! This series is one of my favorites, and this newest installment did not disappoint. And the food! The recipes mentioned throughout all sounded amazing. Overall, I highly recommend reading it!

I received an e-ARC from the publisher.

This book makes me want to try so many varieties of cheese. In Korina Moss's Curds of Prey, murder again comes to Yarrow Glen, and cheesemonger Willa Bauer must be the predator… before she becomes the prey? The cheese crew is back at it this time to free Roman of the mess he got himself into. This was a fun one as I expected. Can't wait until the next adventure.

Another great book by Korina Moss, Curds of Prey A Cheese Shop Mystery was a delightful read. Willa Bauer is back in the third book of the series in her cheese shop Curds & Whey. She is part of the social event of the season: Summer Harrington’s wedding. Cheesemonger Willa Bauer is going all out for the wedding shower’s cheese bar, she is having a tasting in her shop when there is a fight between the groom and a love interest of Willa's. Then at the Wedding Shower the Groom shows up unexpectedly and there is more conflict as the friend of Willa's shows up at the Shower as he was invited by the Sister of the Bride. Willa discovers the Groom dead in the barn and there are a lot of suspects. So begins the investigation as her boyfriend is in the middle of this disaster.

Another fantastic cozy mystery from Korina Moss. Moss is now on my "instant read" list for new material.

Willa and "Team Cheese" provide such a nostalgic feeling of days spent growing up watching Scooby Doo. Unconventional search tactics, a great team dynamic, and lots of snack talk? Who could ask for more! Especially when trying to find a murderer at a wedding shower!

I am also loving the relationship progressions and getting a deeper knowledge of the side characters, like the Mayor, Lou, and Roman as the series develops. I can't wait to see where things will go for Willa and Team Cheese in the future, and I can't wait for more cheesy goodness to grace our shelves!

As a bonus, it's full of ooey gooey cheesy recipes that are DEFINITELY going to be tried in my household :D

Another wonderful work by Korina Moss, Curds of Prey!

I've been a fan of Moss's A Cheese Shop Mystery series since the first book, Cheddar Off Dead. Once again, Willa (our protagonist) and her cheese shop crew of Curds & Whey are back with a new mystery.

While readers new to this series can read this book, I highly recommend checking out the other entries in this series as well. I loved the drama, mystery, hints of romance, and the characters in this book! Everything was written wonderfully and I truly recommend reading this book. The details make you want to be a part of Willa and Team Cheese.

My thanks to St. Martin's Press and NetGallery for a digital copy of this book for my review. Here's to reading the next book in this series, Case of the Bleus!

Willa Bauer is providing a cheese table for bridal shower of a prominent Yarrow Glen family. While it seems love is in the air, Willa discovers that Roman was once engaged to the bride and he left her at the altar. then Willa finds the groom dead and Roman is the prime suspect.

Can Willa figure out who murdered the groom and clear Roman’s name? More importantly, can Willa and Roman’s relationship survive this one?

I love everything about this series! The location in California’s Wine Country, the cheese shop full of dairy goodness, the beta fish, and most of all, the characters and mystery in each entry. And don’t forget the deliciousness at the end of each book…recipes to satisfy your hunger after reading about all the good things Willa and the gang are eating. A must read series!

This series gets better with each book, and Curds of Prey kept me on the edge of my seat.
Willa's cheese shop is doing well, and a new catering opportunity may open more doors for her cheesy delights.
Unfortunately for Willa, things go horribly wrong, at the bridal shower and in her own personal life, leaving her emotions in turmoil.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for selecting me to read an advanced copy of the book.

I enjoyed this book. I thought the characters investigating went around in circles with who the suspects were and the killer is, which is annoying. I liked the interactions between the “Team Cheese” . I was definitely surprised by who the killer turned out due to all the back and forth on the suspects. I liked the scene were the killer is revealed, it felt very real. #CurdsofPrey #NetGalley
