I enjoyed reading this book! For What It’s Worth is an Omegaverse romance that follows Koda and her journey in finding her pack! It was a cute story and I would definitely read more by the author!

I've never read an Alpha/Omega story which wasn't a paranormal/werewolf story, so I was a little surprised that this had no real paranormal elements to it outside of that dynamic. Despite this initial surprise, overall it was a well-written reverse harem. While there was a clear plot, this was mostly centred around the formation of the 'pack' and the struggles they faced. If that is something you are interested in, then this book would be for you. I'm not sure I would have picked it if I knew it wasn't a werewolf story, but it was still a decent read even if the constant talk of pillows and nests did start to drive me batty.

This was a NetGalley review.

An interesting take on omegaverse. I liked the idea but was confused by the female lead. At the beginning she is a strong independent female that wants to go to school terribly. It was her whole identity. And then she meets her alphas and becomes childish and weak. I liked the idea that their pack would change things for the school and the future but rather than giving up her omega status they keep her as a beta and then the book just ends. Not exactly a cliffhanger but also not very informative. I needed a lot more substance and a strong female character.

This was a Omega Universe type romance and I heartily enjoyed it, the heat was off the charts and I loved the characters!

Koda is an Omega but she smells like a Beta so she can do things that most other Omega's cannot. She is at college with Alpha's and Beta's but if they find out she's an Omega she'll have to go to the Omega complex. Koda is getting along fine until she comes across Enzo, Jenson and Aidan who are all part of the same pack. They make her feel things that she hasn't felt before and they know her secret. She feels comfortable around them and starts to feel more but doesn't want to give up what she has. The Alpha's want her as their Omega and after a while they just stop fighting what they all feel. I liked the lead up and getting to know one another a little bit before their hormones took over and they all ended up in bed together. It was a very hot and spicy read.

I would have liked a little more back story about the whole Alpha, Omega and Beta thing and why Omega's are treated so differently. But it was a fun read.

Disclosure: I was given a copy of this book via NetGalley but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I absolutely hate giving bad reviews especially on books I was unable to finish. Sadly this book just wasn't for me. I had trouble getting into the female character because she seemed to act like an eight year old most of the time. She would cry at drop of hat for things like the guys not getting her food fast enough. The male characters were better. It had potential if the female was different but not everyone is going to like the same books and this was just a dnf for me which i hardly ever do.

Thank you to Netgalley and Evernight Publishing for this ARC.

For What It's Worth was a good read, but it was missing a few elements for me. The major one was the ending, is this the first book in a series? It just seemed to end really quickly. Overall, if this is the first book and the story continues, then it was a good introduction to meet the characters and the get a feel for where the book might go. I really enjoyed the spice even though it was the first time I had heard of knotting.

For What It's Worth was fast paced. It the characters were strong and well developed. I would definately read another story by Josephine Light.

This was such a fresh take on the Omegaverse world. I loved how the heroine was so strong and had goals society deemed were not meant for an omega. Yet with the right pack she got to achieve her dreams and live her happily ever after. Definitely recommend

I'm new to the omegaverse. This was a fun intro to it with enough heat to make me squirm, but not enough to make me blush...too much. A fun, relatively quick read.

We all know not to judge a book by its cover, but every now and then I read a book that reminds me not to judge a book by the number of people who have read it. When scrolling on my kindle, I tend to dismiss books that only have a handful of ratings assuming that the best books will be popular. This book reminded me that some of the best gems haven’t been discovered yet.

Josephine Light put her stamp on the omegaverse genre by introducing a heroine who is both beta and omega. After years of suppressing her omega side, we get to watch her come to embrace it as she finds her pack of alphas. The world building sets up a very intriguing society. Betas are beginning to gain more rights, and some of the alphas aren’t too pleased by that. Betas seem to revere while also resent alphas and tend to hold some frustration towards omegas. My only complaint is that I was so interested in all of the dynamics that I was disappointed we didn’t delve deeper. We are left feeling the tension between the designations. I’m hoping this is a sign of more books to come.

A unique take on the traditional omegaverse. Koda is a half-beta half-alpha college student. She has been hiding her omega designation her entire life so she can received the same opportunities her beta and alpha peers receive. In this universe omegas are expected to go to a school on their own while alphas and betas are able to go to normal colleges and move to careers. Right at the start of the semester Koda meets her professor and his two pack mates and their story starts from there.

This was such a fresh take on omegaverse for me. I loved the idea of someone not fitting fully into a designation and trying to navigate what they want from there. I thought Kodak's struggles with what she wanted and her two different guiding identities was interesting and authentic.

Jenson, Aiden, and Enzo were each different enough that it kept the book interesting. At first I was not super sold on Jenson but he ended up being my favorite. Which surprised me because I either go for the sunshine golden retriever or the brooding silent characters.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. There were a few grammatical errors but not to the point it took away from the reading experience.

I wish there was more time spent actually developing Kodak's relationships with each of the men. Towards the end she even awknoedges that she really does not know these men who she has bonded to. We do not really get to know who these mail characters are, their backgrounds, or their stories. I wish we could have gotten more of that and more relationship building.

I was a bit confused by the ending, it almost feels like there should be a second book but from my understanding there is not a planned sequel. It just felt a bit rushed at the end and almost unfinished. We never learn why Koda is half and half, how these new bonds and attention impact her schooling, we don't know if she ever comes out about her omega designation, and we never get more relationship building. I also felt like Koda went from being this really strong female who has kept this secret for her whole life to this crying co-dependent weak lead. Which was just a let down since it was fun to read about an omega who really stood their ground. Those things are why it ends up being more of a 3.5 star read for me.

I really enjoyed this omegaverse story. It was a nice take on the different designations. Koda is an omega but she presents as a beta. She has spent the last several years hiding so that she can get an education. At her university she meets 3 alphas who make her omega side come out. I really liked the relationships between them beginning even when they believed she was a beta. The story was so good I couldn't put it down. My only complaint is that I wish we got more about them after bonding. I would love another book with Koda and her guys.

Another one I read and forgot I read.

This is an interesting take on the idea of an omega wolf, which in actuality is the bitch of the pack and would never be allowed to mate. In this book, omegas are coveted because they're the only ones who can take the alphas knots and end up with multiple alphas banging them.

Koda is a student at a college for betas. She isn't quite a beta, she's also an omega, but her scent is beta enough to pass. We follow her as she gets used to her new school, all the while trying to keep her head down and quell her omega urges so as not to out herself and get shipped off to the omega compound to learn how to be a good omega.

She develops the hots for 3 teachers in her school, and eventually she ends up in a reverse-harem relationship with them.

This was actually a mostly decent read, but there were some behaviours that were just really irritating. Koda starts off as a strong woman, but when she hooks up with her mates, she becomes a simpering bitch. She will randomly start to cry over some inane bullshit, and then the guys scramble to make her happy. She acts like a child, and it's pathetic and not endearing. Their attempts to quell her whiny tantrums were also pathetic.

At any rate, enjoyable enough to read, quite filthy in the latter half, knotting if you're into that.

Where do I start… I didn’t have any expectations with this book or author. WOW I am completely impressed and awed but how unexpected this book is. Let get a few quirks out of the way, at no point are we let known what paranormal they are or if they even shift, but the story moves so well that I didn’t feel like I was missing something, you just knew you didn’t know. AND that was it for me on the cons, lol. Let me tell you this is super duper sexy and I want more!! I loved this slight introduction of a friend for her and now I want to know Hannah’s story….. hint hint. These alphas are awesome and fit the image in my head and I was just loving every page. Could easily have read a few hundred more pages but I’ll settle for a few more books from this “new to me” author.

This could have been so much better. It had a unique omegaverse story. Koda tests as a beta but is really an omega in every way that matters but she wants to continue her education and get a degree but doesn't feel she could do that if it's discovered she's an omega. She finds a pack that wants her and she wants them but I feel like her stubborness and desire to go to school for a degree that she doesn't even care about I might add, second changes her pack and even herself. I found this book really frustrating despite it's promising premise. Koda is basically both a beta and an omega, her parents abandoned her and so there is a hint of an intriguing back story, possibly but it never goes there. Instead, it's Koda being selfish and stubborn about no one finding out so that she can continue to go to school for something she doesn't even care about. Ultimately, I was left disappointed and felt sorry a bit for her pack.

I liked this a Lot, for an omega female she was actually a lot less omega than most books I’ve read and it was nice, her guys respected her and her dreams. It was really refreshing for some of these I have read, the spice is HOT, steamy but still a nice bit of slow burn too. Looking forward to reading more in future

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy in return for an honest opinion

This is one of the best omega and reverse harem romances I have read it has the hot factor but also the core romance genre. Koda is not perfect but I would love to have her as a friend. I love how relatable the characters are. Koda is a 20 something omega living as a beta she has possible mutations that make her seem to be a beta. She has worked and went an done the impossible in a society where if you are omega you go to a compound till you are mated. Koda is 3 semesters away from finishing college and transferred to a former all alpha university that has accepted betas. Her love interest is a professor an his pack and the book has no cliff hanger but has left it open for a second one an I have to say I am eagerly awaiting it or the authors next book. It is steamy and erotic but well written and enough of a slow burn to make me want a pack of my own. The world she has created is believable and usually it takes me a bit to write a review but i was impressed and am definitely letting my friends and other readers know to look for this book.

HOTNESS fills this book 🔥 🥵 ! I am not typically a fan of the PNR but I enjoyed this storyline. I have a bit of confusion as to what the characters are, they call her " little bear" and there are Alphas, Betas and Omegas but there's not a reference to what kind of animal/creature they may be. There was alot of emotion and bonding throughout. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the end was very abrupt, not sure if there is a book 2? ( I would hope so as there's alot left to be desired) There also didn't seem to be much of a conflict/climax (non sexual lol) in the plot. But overall I enjoyed the book!

MFMM/RH/single POV(fmc)/standalone/omegaverse/knots/nesting/pierced d/HEA

Koda has spent her life claiming she’s a beta so she can benefit from the privileges she can get as a beta. Omegas are very limited on what they can and can’t do and Koda has big aspirations to get a degree and be able to work, make her own decisions etc. She’s always been able to hide her omega scent and qualities… until she gets turned on….and when she starts having strong attractions and a possessiveness over a local alpha pack, hiding her omega tendencies gets a bit harder.

This book was a quick and easy one sitting read for me. This was the first book I’ve read where the ‘omega’ wasn’t exceedingly omega. I loved Koda’s strength and determination to pursue her dreams. I also love how supportive her guys were of her choices in a world where omegas didn’t get to make many decisions for themselves. They guys all had different qualities they brought to the relationship. Jensen was the pensive leader, Aiden was the flirt and Enzo was the strong and silent force. I did feel like the ending was a bit rushed and I still had a few questions after the end I would have liked the answers to, but overall I did enjoy this book.
