This story grabbed my attention from the beginning and held it until the very end. It was suspenseful and there was danger around every corner.

Jaycee Richmond was being hunted by a killer but she can't remember who the killer is or why she is the target. She is trying to find Brett Harmon but develops amnesia from a crash caused by the killer. When Brett almost runs over Jaycee in the middle of the road, he has no idea where this journey will lead and what he will find when all is revealed. All he knows is that he has to protect this woman until he can get the answers he needs.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I am sure it will not be the last. The story was clean but definitely full of drama and suspense and a little romance thrown in for good measure.

I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.

Jaycee was found on the side of the road roughed up with little to no memory. She had something important to say but it was now gone and until her memory comes back it seems like someone is after her to keep it quiet. Red is a security expert who's Brian has just been murdered and might have ties with Jaycee disclosing the clients whereabouts. Until she gets her memory back and find the reason someone is after her Jaycee will stick around Brett.

I really enjoyed this boo I love how fast-paced it was from the beginning. There was so much going on to get me hooked. Other interesting seeing how everything played out and a wondering who they can trust. I love that this book remained a clean romance. There were moments here and there talking about God but not an overwhelming amount I'm not a really religious person so when it goes over the top I kind of get put off by a book but this book had a decent amount of faith being mentioned without being too much. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and seeing the role they had to play in this book. Overall really good story if you like mystery suspense kind of novels that keep you hooked you'll enjoy this one.

A thrilling suspense, fraught with danger as Brett and Jaycee try to outrun the killer.

Jaycee is a brilliant hacker hired to test a security system, the job looks legit, but it all goes terribly wrong, and she finds herself fighting for her life forced to put her life in the hands of a handsome stranger.

A fast paced read with a riveting plot and engaging characters. I liked that Brett wants to help keep Jaycee safe and get to the bottom of what is going on and how it is connected to his friend's murder. There is good interaction throughout, and I liked that they share a Christian faith.

There is a lot going on, and the pages flew by for me as I had a hard time putting it down. There is a lot to love about this read, and I loved how Brett's family welcomes her.

Overall, an engaging read that you won't want to put down!

Texas Ranch Target by Virginia Vaughan is book two in her Cowboy Protectors romantic suspense series from Love Inspired.

This was such a good story! I absolutely loved how Jaycee’s amnesia came into play. The way the author portrayed it was incredible. And the unfolding of the mystery had wonderful twists and turns. Brett and Jaycee were such great characters, too.

I will definitely be keeping an eye out for book three in this series to see which of the Harmon cousins gets his chance at a happily ever after!

Finished this book in one evening because it was so good.
I couldn't put it down until I seen who did it. I had my suspicion, though, and I was right! I kind of guessed it about halfway through, but I wanted to see what happened next!
Lots of fun and many twists and turns that you won't see coming!
I instantly felt that Brett was a good man. He was my favorite character and hero!
Suspense and romance mixed?
Will Jaycee and Brett find their way out of this terrible fix they're in?

What an amazing, fast paced, clean suspense story! Texas Ranch Target is part of the Cowboy protectors series but they can be read as stand alone books.

Brett and Jaycee were strong, likeable main characters that I enjoyed getting to know. I also liked the amnesia element of the story-it made it more interesting. Lots of twists and turns along the way and the Texas setting was fun.

I highly recommend reading this on the edge of your seat action and clean suspense story. I have read other books by this author and really enjoy her books!

This book not only bounded out of the starting gate, it tore that gate to pieces. This book progressed quickly along a winding stream of danger, intrigue, and romance. Murder mystery, family farm, cybersecurity, and more. An engaging inspirational Christian romantic suspense read. It had wonderful and strong characters facing tense situations together. This is another new to me author, but I’m sure I’ll read more from her in the future (If you’re following my reviews, you’ll see quite a few new-to-me Harlequin authors in the next few months as I check out some new romantic suspense reads).

Texas Ranch Target by Virginia Vaughan brings the suspense!

Jaycee Richmond has vital information that she needs to get to Brett Harmon. She knows it’s important, but she can’t remember what it is after she’s attacked and loses her memory. Now she and Brett have to dive into her past to find out how Jaycee is connected to a murder and figure out who is trying to kill her.

I love the pacing of this story, and the romance blends in nicely. There are lots of run-for-your-life moments along with the romantic tension. I recommend the whole series.

Texas Ranch Target is book number two in the Cowboy Protector series that is written by Virginia Vaughn. This book can be read as a stand alone. Brett Harmon is former military and now is one of the owners of B&W Security - when a high profile client is murdered. He heads home to Jessop, Texas to his family ranch to try and lay low. While en route, Jaycee Richmond stumbles out onto the road with no recollection to who she is and why Brett's card is in her pocket.

With the assistance of Brett's cousins they try and figure out the mystery to who Jaycee is and why she was trying to find Brett. Slowly but surely Jaycee starts to get her memory back in pieces and it's not making sense. She is trying to rush the process since someone is trying to eliminate her. Brett realizes there is really noone they can trust and he is worried that he won't be able keep Jaycee safe.

This book is full of action and suspense. The author did a great job with keeping readers on their toes. I suspected most of the characters in the book. Thank you to the author and publisher for allowing me to read a copy of this book - all thoughts are my own.

Brett Harmon is a security expert. He is back at his ranch after his last job where his client was murdered. He's not feeling to good about himself . Then he runs across an injured woman in the road. Jaycee has no memory of her attack. She also doesn't remember why she has Brett's business card.

This is a fast paced mystery that kept me guessing all the way to the end. I highly recommend this book. This is the second book of the series. But it's also a stand alone book.

I loved this book. its most definitely a 5-star book but wish I could give it more. I put myself into Jaycee's place many times while reading this book. I wondered what I would have done if I knew someone wanted me dead and I could not remember who it was.
I applaud Brett for taking care of her and helping her to find out what had happened and who set them both up. I can't wait to read more in this series.

A Real Nail Biter

Wow! Brett and Jaycee's story is a real nail biter full of intrigue and suspense. It completely drew me in and kept me on the edge of my seat up to the very end. The story is a mix of mystery, suspense, danger, action, and romance. All of that along with great characters, family aspects and a touch of faith based inspiration make this a story that is definitely well worth the read.

I received a complimentary copy of the book via NetGalley. All comments and opinions are completely voluntary and strictly my own.

This is book two in the Cowboy Protectors series, however it is a stand alone book. You will miss some history in some of the characters and a good read, you can easily read this first and not be lost. This book is full of mystery, suspense, drama and of course romance. Brett Harmon is trying to figure out his life and is not expecting the beautiful Jaycee Richmond to stumble into his life. When Jaycee and Brett find they must work together they are not expecting so many things to connect them. I loved both books in this series and hope there are more, I think they would make a great movie. I was given a copy of this book for my honest opinion.

It was a quick but satisfying read.

4 1/2 STARS!

Filled with intrigue and danger! The second book in Virginia Vaughan's Cowboy Protector's series is a top notch addition to the series with unputdownable mystery and hints of romance. Their relationship really didn't have time to be developed fully amid all of the drama of the danger knocking at their door throughout, but they felt connected none-the-less and it made for a very enjoyable read.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that loves intrigue mixed with a touch of romance while their faith is freely talked about. I'm looking forward to more to come in the series!
