As most people who read Archer's Voice, I considered his cousin Travis the villain of the story, even though by the end he became a wee-bit redeemed. So for us to get a sequel, and that sequel be about Travis, was a shock! But at the same time, we learn how Travis is Travis and we see him grow and change and become a good man. Excellent sequel, and much needed redemption book.
I was left a little disappointed in this recount of Travis, a character we're introduced to in Archer's Voice. So disappointed that I cannot do a review justice and unbiased.
I honestly didn't think Travis could be redeemed but I was proven wrong! Mia truly knows how to write and book and put you in your feels. Thank you for writing this. Highly recommend!!
I will be honest wasn’t sure about this one going in…I loved Archers Voice with my whole heart but could not stand Travis or see how he could possibly redeem him self. Mia Sheridan did such a great job with his character and the writing, and his growth and maturity is nice to see. He is definitely far from perfect and I did still find him hard to like at times but overall was impressed.
If you loved Archer's Voice you probably hated Travis. I was reluctant to entertain Travis's story but I have to admit I love a good redemption story. This book didn't hit the way Archer's Voice did but it was still a great story nonetheless. Karma really came for Travis and I'm happy he was able to realize his transgressions and "repent" for them. But I did find the way he did it a bit too dramatic for my taste. I still don't know if I liked Haven all that much to be honest. But I think they were perfectly matched in a weird way.

I think its just been too long since I've read Archer's Voice to be able to enter back into this world. I was not pulled into it by 10% which is my quitting spot.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an advanced copy of Travis by Mia Sheridan.
How I loved diving back into this town! I am so happy the author gave us more from these wonderful people. I loved seeing how far Travis had come in his personal journey and the ending was simply beautiful. I definitely recommend this love story and this author. The audio version of this was simply perfection. I hope the author decides to give us more either through Gage or Easton. I can't recommend this book and series enough.
As much as I loved Archer's Voice I could not get myself to care about Travis. Sheridan did such a great job of making him an unlikable character in the first book that his redemption did not interest me. I suppose that is a compliment to the author's previous work!
Obsessed with this one. Love Mia’s writing and cannot wait to read more from her. Travis was really like able in this book and that had me worried since I did not care for him in Archers voice.
I did not finish this one, it was not for me, I couldn't relate to the characters, and just did not care for the story.
After reading the first fourth of this book, I realized that the writing and pacing were not for me.
Thank you Mia Sheridan and NetGalley for my gifted copy in exchange for an honest review. My opinions are my own.
I absolutely loved Archers Voice when I read it a few years ago, but with time I completely forgot the plot of it so the connection with Travis and how he was in that book completely went over my head because I just didn’t remember.
This one didn’t pull me in like Archers Voice did but it was still enjoyable. I liked seeing how Archer and Bree were doing and I really liked Travis’s love interest, Haven.
Archer’s Voice is one of my favorite standalone romances. I adore a good redemptive story and was excited to see how Travis would be redeemed. I was not disappointed despite wishing for slightly different pacing and in a different order. There was amazing character growth and I loved how the connections were made between Travis and Easton. I was impressed by the depth of feeling in this book.
I couldn't stand Travis in the Archer's Voice but Mia Sheridan had to go ahead and make me love him. After everything they went through in the first book, I loved seeing him get close to Archer, Bree and the kids. It was the redemption story I never knew I needed.
This was a surprise to me. It is both a standalone and the 2nd part of Archers voice. I picked this up not knowing. I read archers voice in 2016 and didnt think they were connected until I started reading. it was nice that the book picked up years later with archers story while telling us Travis's. What keeps this from being a 5 is that its a bit drawn out IMO, the good parts are good tho. I really loved the last hour of this book and the begining was simply good. I think anyone looking for a redemption story and a HEA will love this
I will start by saying I reallllly wanted to love this book. I have started trying to find series that create someone as a villain in the first novel and then have you fall in love with them in the second. So I went into this ready to LOVE Travis and I'm not saying that I don't but I guess I was anticipating the sam emotional response étant Archers Voice gave me and it's just not there at all. The book is good and if you had never read or knew the masterpiece that is Archers Voice maybe this would be a 5 star read but for me since rio already love another Hale brother this fell flat.
Loved this book! It didn’t have the punch of Archer’s Voice, but I appreciated seeing more into the life of Travis. It is definitely a book that I will recommend to friends who loved Archer’s Voice.
I think I liked Travis more than Archer's Voice, and that says a lot.
Travis's character went through so much growth. He became a new man in this book or more of the man behind the mask. I'm not sure which. Either way, I loved it.
I loved how vulnerable he was and how he put himself on the line.
The friendship developed between Travis and Haven was so genuine.
It was fun watching the infamous Travis Hale fall in love for the first time and risking it all to figure out what truly matters.
If you read Archer’s Voice, you’ll certainly remember Archer’s villainous stepbrother Travis. This book is Travis’ redemption story and it takes place around 8 years after Archer’s Voice ended. In that time Travis has grown and is starting to address some of his childhood trauma.
This one was just ok for me especially compared to Archer’s Voice. I just didn’t connect with main characters, Travis and Haven. Travis does redeem himself but I didn’t feel like he was swoon worthy at all. And Haven, a plant loving free spirit was the more lovable of the two but I couldn’t get invested in their relationship. Their story was a slow slow burn and at times I found myself kind of bored.
