Enjoyed from the start to the finish.
Full of well written characters that i was never quite sure of. Thought i had it all worked out and loved that i was wrong.

Harriett and Oliver live in a friendly community called Prospect Close. One day while at the playground, one of Harriet's twin daughters goes missing. She is of course frantic, but happy when she is later found. What she didn't expect was that later, she gets a threatening note. Harriett's husband, Oliver, has cheated on her in the past and she is having feelings that it is happening again. While trying to figure out who his mistress is, she continues to get notes that are threatening her and her family. She has a secret from her past that she has never told anyone about. Could this be the person behind notes? Or could they be from Oliver's mistress?

THE MISTRESS NEXT DOOR was an engaging read from start to finish. There were many twists along the way that I did not expect. I would say, this is a quick read as I read in a day's time. I did feel bad for Harriett and I was glad the conclusion was in her favor. Pick up this book if you want a good mystery/thriller to add to your TBR.

Overall, I really enjoyed this dark, chilling, well-plotted story. It was intense and fast paced and I raced through this in a few hours, frantically turning the pages, desperate to find out how it was all going to be resolved. With that dramatic ending, I wasn’t disappointed! I’m already looking forward to the author’s next book. Utterly compelling reading, The book is full of secrets and I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend it.

Heart pounding thriller that left me on the edge of my seat. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one. Definitely one of the best books this year.

The husband with a roving eye…three daughters under five…friends and family…love and romance…Harriet, the main character, has so much on her that she cannot function rationally. Or can she? Perhaps her husband is unfaithful. Who is he with? The characters in this book come alive on the pages. The story moves quickly. There are so many secrets that Harriet has a difficult time determining the truth…she finally is surprised to learn how her long ago secret has come to light.
